Had a couple days in Idaho and went for a walk around this cozy town . My sister works in coffee and she loves trying different coffee shops. We came to this cozy shop and we weren't sure if we could bring our dog in. We stood outside trying to figure out what we should do with the dog but a gentlemen came out and told us they were dog friendly. He was very kind and welcoming. We stepped inside and the ambience was so inviting. It was like a cozy library. They had a gluten free cookie option, muffins and other treats along with of course tea and coffee. It has amazing reviews and high stars and definitely a must try if you're in Caldwell, Idaho (near Boise). read more

One, if not, THEE BEST coffee spots you'll find around!!! I was on my way out of the Boise area back to eastern Washington and needed coffee. I saw that this place had stellar reviews and decided to give it a try--and WOW, am I certainly glad I did! Walked in at 9:30a on a Tuesday morning and most of the people here were oldies. That said, the vibe is very unique. Lots of wood and leather, just like the photos showcase! The only difference is that it doesn't seem as clean as some of the photos show, but I digress.... The coffee was amazing. I only had a White Chocolate Macadamia iced latte and WOW, was it good! I could tell that if I went with any other type of coffee drink--or even just a black coffee--it would have been great. The baristas were friendly and helpful with recommendations, and they were really quick with getting drinks out even though it was a full house! While it's 30-45 minutes outside of Boise, if you have the opportunity to stop here, YOU MUST. The high ratings don't lie! read more

What a lovely coffee shop! We had never been here before, but had the opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours, and we, eventually ended up at Bond & Bevel. The vibe here is one of lost arts and objects created from memories. It all feels perfectly orchestrated. I was elated to find an eggnog latte on the menu, and it tasted more comforting than usual on a cold, rainy evening, and had just enough sweetness. My husband had a hot chocolate, sprinkled with candy cane "dust" that melted into it, creating the dream cocoa. We sat at tge stools in front of the window, sipping our drinks and watching the passersby, as the scurried a long, finishing up holiday shopping. This is a very cool coffee place. We had a delicious hot white mocha with caramel. The baristas were friendly. This establishment is inside an old bank and we loved the leather items for sale. There is a lovely little river just a short walk away! Great road trip spot with a clean restroom. read more

Great decor but the coffee is just... coffee. Went in with a party of 3 and all ordered different drinks / pastries- nobody had anything good to say. The drinks were standard and honestly, the pastries were a bit sub-par. It's a nice place to stop but I'm not going out of my way to return. read more

For specialty coffee in Idaho I'd say Bond & Bevel is great option. The roast used in the espresso is on the darker side yet peppered with notes of brown sugar. The blend has a great body to it. For those who consider themselves a "coffee snob" I'd say the espresso is lacking a sort of compound in flavor that I normally look for; but I am biased to light roasts. Objectively Bond and Bevel offers a unique atmosphere blanketed in the aroma of espresso and fresh leather paired with the darker, rustic but modern interior. The staff is inviting and well informed on coffee, which can adequately claim the title of "specialty coffee". Would recommend. read more

Park in the parking area near the creek and walk over the bridge and head straight to this spot. Love the aesthetic of this coffee shop. The design flows throughout the entire space nicely and into the actual seating space. Place can be crowded, though, and hard to find a spot to sit. Staff seem genuinely friendly and has a smile on their face. They'll offer suggestions and answer any questions about the menu. They have a small selection of baked goods and milk alternatives. If you dine-in with your pastry, they'll put it on a plate with silverware. Coffee was actually good (I say "actually" because sometimes coffee shops don't put the love in it and coffee taste too burnt). You can taste the love they have for their coffee. Will I be back? We visited bond & bevel for the very first time yesterday. A friend from church had told us about what an amazing place it is with the leather shop on site. We both wanted coffee so we decided to give it a try. I was craving some iced coffee with a little hint of sweet, so I ordered a sugar free iced caramel latte and an apple maple scone and my husband ordered an iced coffee as well as a breakfast pesto sandwich that was OMG amazing! I think my husband was ready to move out of our house and call this spot his new home. He was in love and I basically had to pull him out with all my strength! Haha This was such a unique spot. Took a trendy coffee place and made it their own. The environment is cozy, soothing, rich, and has a lot of really cool things to look at. I imagine this is where you'll find me when it's snowing outside again. I ordered a London Fog - Earl grey tea with vanilla & milk. It hit the spot! Perfectly sweet, while still being a mellow drink. My husband ordered their house coffee & went with the dark roast. Personally a big fan that they offer both medium and dark roast on drip! Everyone likes somethin different and having both is a great call. It's hard to peel your eyes away from the walls filled with rich colors and leather goods. I randomly walked into Bond & Bevel on a whim and decided to get coffee. Location: this is located at the Indian Creek Plaza right next to Amano on the backside Parking: parking is free with lots of ample location Decor: I absolutely love the decor! The owner did a wonderful job decorating with its simplicity, patriotic and strong theme Coffee: okay, hear me out. If you've been to Starbucks, they've definitely trained you to think what a macchiato or flat white was. So when I came here, I learned what macchiatos and flat whites were. Actually, the way they do their coffees here is similar to New Zealand. If you've been to New Zealand, you know exactly what I mean! The latte here is GREAT. There is nothing to complain about for me! Trust me when I say their coffee is A-1! Go ahead and try it out. You won't be disappointed. What a cute coffee shop! We came here before ice skating, and they had a fancy little hot chocolate bar they make for the kids. The owners are really friendly, and even let us check out the old bank vault where they do their leather work. There are several tables inside and outside. I was in town visiting and came everyday I was in the area (5 day). Everyone here was so nice drinks are amazing I am going to miss this place! I ordered the iced ginger chai with almond milk and let me tell you BEST chai ever! I even bought a bottle of the ginger chai. Over such an amazing coffee shop! Bond & Bevel is a super cool little coffee and mercantile off Indian Creek Plaza. Very fun vibe with leather goods, knives, and axes for sale. We tried iced americanos and it was a great- their coffee has a very rich, dark flavor- you won't find mild flavors here! With a few options for coffee shops on the square, this will be my first choice for stopping by a coffee shop from now on. Super friendly owner Krista and Health chatted to us about opening their business and supporting other local businesses in the area. This was a cool spot in Caldwell that was very busy on Fourth of July. The vibes is totally industrial, and their menu reminded me of Push and Pour in Boise. I had a basic almond milk latte.
