I was in Nampa today dinking around. It was late afternoon so it was about that time for my mid day caffeinated beverage. I decided to stop into Flying M to grab a little pick me up. This joint is so much fun. You walk in and you're instantly bombarded with all these fun goodies to look at. Candles, socks, mugs, candy, stickers. As much as I needed that drink, I had to look and touch everything first! I love all the fun things they have out. You can literally spend a good hour checking out every piece of retail available! It was hard not to pick, touch or smell everything! Made my way up to the counter. The first thing you notice is all the baked goods. The display case was full of delicious treats. Every pastry looked divine. That's one thing about Flying M, it's a guarantee that your baked goody is going to be out of this world tasty! I have yet to have a bad pastry at a Flying M. It was finally my turn to order my drink, everyone came in all at once. I was greeted by a handsome smile. I ordered my regular drink when I spec out new spots. So today I got an iced americano with sugar free chocolate with room for cream. I made sure it was a large, I needed a good jolt of caffeine. Bro, this americano was money. The espresso was strong and not watered down. I added the cream so it was the perfect amount. I did add a couple packets of Splenda cause the espresso was not shy in this drink. It was so good! I sat outside and enjoyed it. It was the perfect day to enjoy an iced coffee under the warm sun. Flying M downtown Boise should take come customer service pointers from this joint. It's night and day. I stopped going to the Flying M downtown because the customer service was so inconsistent. Some days they were so nice and then some days the baristas were so rude. I had such a great experience here. The venue is fun. The gentleman that helped me was so nice! My drink was on point! I'm happy I stopped in today. Looking forward to coming back and getting another amazing iced americano. read more

This place has just gone down hill. I don't know what happened, perhaps management changed in the last couple of years? We've tried their coffee perhaps 4 times within the last year, and have finally given up on them...the espresso is terrible, they never get my drink right, and the coffee is expensive for being very sub par. I've asked several friends who also used to frequent the M if they've had the same experience, and they said they have, and that they have also stopped going in hopes that it would get better. read more

We've been coming to Flying M since we moved into the area. It's an eclectic coffee shop in the heart of downtown Nampa. A converted tire shop, Flying M has tons of space for seating. The garage has an upstairs area where people can study and hang out. Their coffee is delicious and roasted in house. That alone is a huge draw but you really want to try their freshly made pastries with your drink. Pair a hot drink with a baked good on a cool day and you're in heaven. read more

Service was great! They were all very nice We sat outside. There were so many flys so it was hard to enjoy our drinks.. They did have it decorated with lights but misters would have came in handy during the summer time to make it more enjoyable . It was pretty hot . I personally did not enjoy my drink. Delicious coffee and pastries with friendly and quick service! Huge space with tables to work, visit with friends, and enjoy your coffee. I love the front area with all of the cute retail items. My husband and I came twice here during our visit in Nampa, he had an Americano and I had a London fog. The London fog was unique-typically the ones I've had are sweeter with a different flavor but I really enjoyed this one. We shared a raspberry scone and a strawberry and cream cheese bun, both warmed up. We were not disappointeded! The bun tasted like a fresh baked dinner roll, delicious! The first time we came was a Friday afternoon and there were a good amount of people but no line to order. The second time we came was a Saturday morning and the line was very long to order, but once we ordered we were shocked at how quick the items came out! We were also impressed that even though there were so many people there, there were still plenty of tables. The parking lot is small but lots of street parking available on either side of the shop. On Saturday morning there was also a really great "express" coffee bar outside with a more limited menu and quicker wait time. I thought this was a really smart idea to give the option and control the high traffic. Really fun vibes here! Cute retro decor as well. Great coffee and friendly service! Was passing through town and was looking for a morning coffee spot. This place looked unique and reviews were positive. Deciding to pull over and stop in, I love how big, spacious, and unique this place is. It appears to be an old auto shop of some sort and they converted it to a coffee shop. The place was busy yet there were still plenty of tables and nice little places to sit down. Lines went quickly (they even opened another register to move things quicker when the line started to build up), the staff taking my order were friendly and kind to explain any questions I had. This is a huge space that I could just live much of the day/night in, working, reading, studying, meeting friends, trying out amazing coffee products and snacks. Some of the best coffee in the valley, in my opinion! Love that they have a location for each city. They have a wide selection of drinks, both coffee and not. Their on tap kombucha is awesome & their pastries are to die for! Their ham and cheese croissant is the best one I've ever had - but they go quick! They have a cute shop where it's easy to get lost and find little gifts. Would give 6 stars if I could. Excellent coffee including multiple alternative milk options if you're dairy free (oat, coconut, almond). They had a beautiful case of pastries. I'm Gluten free and dairy free so there was only one option (chai muffin) which was delicious. I do wish it was in a separate case to help avoid potential cross contamination. Fantastic downtown Nampa staple. The Flying M Coffee Garage is expansive with tons of seating environments. You have the main room where you order, you can gather on some couches and a few tables. There is also the main garage where there are small tables, large tables and then the upstairs with high top sitting (to overlook the coffee roasting and the sitting area below), or a massive community table or small spots off to the left as you get upstairs. Lighting in the garage upstairs is a bit darker for working but definitely has personality and is a great location for chatting or playing a game. I love their food, coffee, and all their funny little gifts. Gifts galore! Parking plenty, time cap for close street parking during the week, no time cap for the weekend. Super liberal, so on display. I took my children in and there were Trump Voodoo dolls. Common! It's a business. The business is cool, great atmosphere. They could think about the fact that the novelty items are with in kids sight and grasp. And the coffee shop & gift takes up the entire corner where the city walks around. We're avid espresso drinkers from Seattle in search of great coffee in the Nampa Area. We tried this place based on reviews and both my husband and I were completely disappointed. The iced caramel macchiato tasted like a premix from a gas station and the almond milk in my iced mocha had a funky flavor. The blueberry scone was good but the no-bake was super dry and crumbly. Aside from that, there are a lot of things in the shop I wasn't thrilled for my kids to be reading such as swear words and crude innuendos. The people working weren't very friendly and seemed annoyed to be taking our order. We always love trying new places but this was a miss. read more
