Received a coupon for 20% off the entire store. Went in and collected $200 worth of items. At checkout I'm told the only things that can be purchased with discount are baseball and soccer items. The coupon clearly says THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE STORE and online items are not available in store (many things aren't.) Spoke to the manager. She said sorry we can't help you. We are Dicks. read more

Ordered an item overnight paying extra for the shipping. After a week I still don't have the product and all their customer service could tell me is sorry Fedex says it was delivered so we wont do anything else at this time and to file a complaint with my bank if I want to. I printed the conversation and did just that. Also told me next time to avoid any issue with shipping to try a different address. Ya definitely not ordering from this business again. read more

I visited Dick's Sporting Goods today looking for BSU clothing. Didn't find what I wanted, but left there with some .22 lr ammunition. They had a sale going on and the prices were very good. Customer service was great. The gentleman in sporting goods near the firearms was very helpful. Customer service at checkout was equally impressive. A young man named Tyler worked the checkout and he graciously explained the rewards program. I'll be shopping at DSG more often. read more

She is so engaging &probably the best Docks employee I've EVER come across. they didn't have the shoes i was looking for and some how she managed to find a random box with the pair i was looking for in the back. I was in need of a zero gravity chair due to a surgery that I'm having in a few days.. I bought one, got it home, set it up and the gears in it didn't work... I took it back, had my money returned to buy another one that they had in stock.. They only had two left. I found an associate ( Tyson) to help me out. I wanted to set one up in the store to make sure it was going to work properly. He set up one, went through the instructions and it didn't work. With only one left, Tyson took it out of the wrap, set it up and it worked nicely. I am now home with my surgery planned for Tuesday morning and am ready for a comfortable recovery in my new chair thanks to Tyson's professional help. I repeatedly go to this Dick's location because of the customer relations the employees present. On numerous occasions Tahnee has been more than helpful with getting me coupons I was unaware when purchasing items to make my experience the most cost effective it could be. Tahnee has also been super flexible when I bring in items for returns/exchanges that typical corporations might reject upfront. It's nice to see that this corporation has not got caught up in the capitalistic manner most corporations. As the customer it's refreshing to not be put on the back burner. I will continually praise this location and the customer relations the employees try to bridge. Great store with plenty of discounts/coupons that vary so you're also in for a bargain! read more

I really which there was a way to rate this place 0 stars. I was looking for a size 1 soccer skills ball online and unfortunately big 5 didn't have in stock so it forced me to buy it at Dick's. I was around treasure valley market place so I looked online and saw they had some in stock I placed the order for curbside pick up 15 minutes before arriving thinking it would be an easier process. After I get there I call the number it had on the sign outside on the curbside pick up parking to check in and also asked how long it would take. A girl inside said it could take from 15 minutes up to 45 min so I asked if I could just go inside and pick it up myself because I didn't wanna wait 45 min for something I could get faster myself but she said I couldn't go get it because once an order is placed for curbside pick up even when they took the payment an employee would have to pick the item and scan it so I waited even longer. After waiting another 10 min I check the tracking status and the order got canceled. An employee comes outside twice to deliver items to 2 other customers so I told him what was going on. He then goes back inside and comes out and says the order was canceled because they didn't have the item in stock after it said it was in stock on the website and they took my money I asked him if they had another size 1 ball that is similar and that I didn't care what color it was as long as it was that same size. He then comes outside with another size 1 ball that looks almost exactly like the one I ordered and the one they said they didn't have in stock but he says I have to go Inside and pay for it (AGAIN) because it's a different color pattern so making a long story shorter I had to pay for 1 damn ball twice and now I have to wait till my bank puts the money back into my account from them cancelling my order. Are you kidding me!?!? I already didn't wanna deal with this place or give them my business based on their decision to discontinue selling ammo and being an anti 2A business in Idaho and i give them a shot for the first time and this crap happens. Never again will I deal with this place and even if I have to wait longer for an item to be shipped to me from another company I'll do that instead because apparently the name "Dicks" comes from the way they treat customers! read more

Today is the last day I will ever shop at this place. I have spent thousands of dollars here over the last several years and today I had the worst customer service. I purchased over $300 worth of shoes and when we got out to the parking lot we realized we had not put my sons inserts in and we needed to get the next size up, so we went back in. The gal who did the exchange was irritated and told my son to "hurry" and go get the correct size. Really? How about you call someone back to help him? My son came up with the right size, but only had the correct size in a different color. I asked her to see if she had them in the color he wanted in the right size in the database and they didn't. She didn't offer to buy them online or anything, so we took the shoe in the correct size, but different color home. When we got home I was so irritated by her lack of customer service I called around. Shoe Carnival had the shoe in the size and color he wanted for $30 cheaper! So I returned the shoe from Dick's back and ended up (at last) with what we wanted for cheaper! read more
