Larry worked on our vehicle a while back on fuel pump replacement. Price was fair. Not too high or too low. The only reason for not continuing coming here is he charges an inspection fee for checking things out. It's not a free inspection. For someone on a budget, that gets expensive. We are not wealthy people. We are working class blue collar people. But Larry and his associates are someone I can vouch for. read more

I attempted to work with a couple mechanics in the area for my issue, and Larry was the best choice so far and I felt an immediate ease when talking to him. He was so willing to work with me and make a sensible game plan, almost like someone who already knew me and wanted to figure it out just to help. Making the most money possible off me doesn't seem like his priority at all, fixing the issue is. That said, the issue isn't totally fixed yet but I'll come back and update if anything else happens. He was flexible with my schedule and as a woman I don't feel like he was trying to scam me or even explain it like some mechanics will aka "oh look a dumb woman who knows nothing about cars." Long-time customer. Larry saved me once again. Odd little problem, my glove compartment wouldn't close! Larry diagnosed the problem immediately. The cabin air filter somehow got loose and was preventing the compartment from closing. He ordered a new filter to be replaced at no charge and promised it the next day. Larry charges $185 for a basic oil change. Let me repeat, $185!!!!! Are you kidding me? Is the oil made of gold and cocaine? The same oil change costs $75 at Wal-Mart and $100 at the dealership! My truck decided to start jerking randomly this past Sunday. Obviously scared out of my mind my transmission was in the dumps I started browsing around for a repair shop for my jeep. It's very unsettling auto repair shop shopping but Larry's came highly recommended by my dad and his neighbors. I called Larry first thing Monday and he told me to bring my car on in, they were busy but he said he would do his best to help. I dropped my truck off at 9. By 11:30 I had a diagnosis. It was NOT my transmission, it was a misfire in my 6th cylinder and my thermostat. Larry was very honest, very kind and ensured me he could take care of the issues, he was busy but could finish the repairs the next day. I am not an annoying customer, but I called this morning at 10:30 just to ask if I needed to get a rental car for a day or 2. He told me my car was ready for pick up and fixed. Took my 4Runner in last week with a power steering leak. I personally replaced the alternator a week prior, but misaligned the serpentine belt. This caused it to fray - that's when the leak started. I replaced the belt and aligned it properly but the leak continued. He noticed something right away. He gave me the option to easily remedy it myself or a costly option but a fair price. Bad review round 2. Taken my moms car there for id say about 10 years. Everytime i went in i told larry "hey it idles rough. Rpms go up and down from 1.5 to less than .5" always said it was the engine. Had a friend clean one little thing and that issue that i was always told was stuck is fixed. read more

I was so disappointed. my second time using his service. the first time I had him install a Reese's hitch labor only. he charged about $250. a lil high . but he was super nice and seemed like a great person. second time I wanted him to add the plug and play harness for the trailer lights I brought the parts . the package and youtube stated about 45 minutes even for a novice. I didn't have time. Dropped the car off . he called 4 hours later and said hey you want me to change the oil . I was like ok . thank you. he called a hour later said your car is ready. so I went to pick it up . he said my bill was $360. He charged $160 to install the plug in harness and $200 for oil change. it read tire rotation and air filter. I didn't need or authorize either. so he is very nice but sketchy as ya. I paid an arm and a leg for this place three times I had to bring it back for the same problem he says he knew what he was doing but he doesn't he was on the phone trying to get advice on how to do things with a car and he's a reputable auto mechanic shop and he's absolutely not he charged me way too much money and the job still ain't done to this day but he says I can't bring the car back because he wanted to charge me another $400 for the same problem and I said he can shove it up as you know where and now I'm having that same issue all my wiring my car is is been destroyed because he didn't know what he was doing and now it's costing me even more money and it's a classic car you should have just told me in the first place he didn't know what he was doing I would respect you that and walked away now my car is all messed up and it's costing me an arm and a leg just to fix what he couldn't fix but I can't bring it back there anymore exact pay on the 400 dollars to fix the same problem so he says I can't bring the car back there no more so now what do I do been going on for months now I can't find the right people to do me right everybody wants to just run around there's no honest mechanics anymore not in America anyway have a great day everybody do not go to Larry's cuz you guys full of s*** believe me I know when I'm talking about I'm the mayor goodbye post review read more

Can't say enough good things about this shop and Larry!! My dad is a mechanic so when he came to visit he took a look at my car and gave me an idea of what work needed to be done. I dropped my car off and told them my issues (squeaky brakes, a potential tire issue, and I wanted a general vehicle inspection) and walked to Target. About 20 minutes later Larry gave me a call and told me what he wanted to do, but he was conscious of what my budget was and gave me some priority work and some I could follow up with a little later, which I really appreciated. After going over what he was going to do he gave me an estimate and got to work! An hour and a half later Jim, their very sweet front desk guy, gave me a call and told me my car was ready. It's a 2015 and I swear it's never driven better! As a woman I worry about being taken advantage of at car shops, but Larry was upfront and clear about what was needed and how much it would cost. Larry took such great care of our box truck! My husband and I can't thank you enough for doing all of the work you did over the last couple of days. Not only did the shop help install two new batteries; they installed all new 6 truck tires, did the oil change, found and repaired electrical problems, changed all of the fluids and filters and fixed the broken lift gate. (All because the truck sat for 2 years, non operational) Overall, he got our 30 foot box truck road ready for a 1000 mile ride back to New Mexico, without out any brake downs or problems!!!! Brought my wife's Honda Accord on Saturday 9/23/17 around 9am for an alternator and belt issue. Despite being busy working on other vehicles Larry kindly approached me asking what he could do for me. I explained to him my situation and since he was busy and my vehicle wasn't a quick fix I assumed he wouldn't finish it til Monday since shop closed at 2pm Saturday and is closed on Sundays and I was okay with leaving it there. He didn't make any promises but said he'd try his best to complete it by 2pm. Low and behold few hours later I get a call at 1:15p from Sue who worked the front desk saying my car was complete. I was amazed. She was very helpful from start to finish. They even had time to do an oil change. Car is now running flawlessly. There was another younger mechanic there who seemed nice. Not sure if he helped in fixing my vehicle but if he did the good job. I am definitely recommending Larry's Auto to friends, family and will be bringing my Accord and Tacoma there for future repairs and maintenance. After a night at my friend's house, I got into my car and immediately heard a whining noise that was incredibly loud. I thought it was nothing, and that it would go away.... But it never did!!! The next day I called Honda to set up an appointment to get the ride looked at, but something was telling me that I was going to get screwed over with their ridiculous prices. I did some yelping and came across Larry's. Called the number and left a voicemail.... 5 minutes later Larry called me!! He was very easy going and very straight forward. He told me the he was busy that day, but if I could bring the car in the next morning, he would be able to get right on it. But in the meantime, he told me to bring my car in that day so he could top off my Power Steering fluid (so I could make it through that day). The next morning I dropped off my car and felt very confident that he could diagnose my car's issues and get the repairs going. Little did I know.... That he would diagnose the problem 30 minutes after I dropped off the car.... THEN he would have it completely repaired and ready 3 hours later!!! The price I paid was pennies on the dollar compared to Honda!!!! WHAT A DEAL!! He was very polite and easy to talk to. I could tell he had been working on cars for a long time and that he genuinely cared about each customer.
