Dude is super nice. Took 15 min in and out. 55$ too good ass deal. Will be returning #PTSMOGRULES

On a fluke I believe 2 years ago I ended up using PT and he was in a unique small space. He has moved and he is now on Anaheim. If coming from downtown he will be on your right side. If you get to Alamitos then you've passed him. He's almost on that corner. Excellent service!!!! Fast, efficient, inexpensive, and friendly as always!!!!! Highly recommend and he is saving me trips to Westminster. Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I forget to get new picture. read more

PT Smog - Checking in :-) - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Long Beach, California

Stopped in here to have my car tested for smog. It was fast and efficient, and everybody was so kind and helpful and patient. So friendly I'm definitely coming back again for any repairs.. Very honorable people and very calm and understanding. Really a great place to go and that's speaking from a woman who does not have a lot of support when it comes to fixing cars and often feels unsure about smaller establishments. They are trustworthy very grateful. Thank you, Paul. read more

PT Smog - Taking in for smog test and a look over - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Long Beach, California

Paul was great! I got a quote for the smog check and coordinated with him here over Yelp. He beat all of the other quotes I got and is STAR certified. I brought my car in, and he was done by the time I finished the paperwork. This is my second time coming to Paul, and I will definitely continue. read more

The easiest, quickest smog check EVER! I was in and out in less than 10 min. The location was a bit difficult to find so really pay attention and look for it but once you find it, you're golden. $50 and I was on my merry way. Thank you!!! read more

I needed a smog check and chose PT Smog because I procrastinated getting it done on a Saturday waiting until the last minute and they were still open. It wasn't hard to find, but the area to pull in is just limited in space so it can be a little tricky... no big deal. I was greeted promptly and told that as soon as their customer before me was finished they could get to me and do a smog check. I had to fill out a form and they were ready for me before I even finished filling in the make and model of my vehicle on form. I handed over the keys and went to sit in their waiting area. Not even 10 minutes later the gentleman brought me my keys and said he was finished and that I had passed. $65 if I were paying with credit card, $60 if paying with cash. I opted for the cash payment and then I was on my way. Very satisfied with the clear and professional service. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. read more

Then and still the best service in town! PT Smog should be the only place to get your car(s) smog check. Best rates, wait time and service in Long Beach, Thank you Paul!! read more

This was my first time getting a smog check after moving to Long Beach - so I turned to Yelp to lead me in the right direction and ya'll did not disappoint! Stopped by on a weekday and was able to get in right away. The shop is a bit hard to spot from the main street, but if you're following Apple Maps you'll be able to find it. Paul was very kind, had calm energy and answered all of my questions. I liked that there was an option to pay with card or cash, and I felt that the price was fair for a smog service (which is great as you never know what surprises await you with any mechanic visit). Overall the experience was easy, quick, and seamless, and I would definitely recommend PT Smog to any friend of mine! **it can be a bit tricky to back out of the narrow driveway, but if you need help one of the mechanics can help guide you out :) read more

PT Smog is STAR Certified and recently moved to a location on E. Anaheim a bit farther west. The address on Yelp is correct, but I noticed that if you search Yelp for PT Smog, it doesn't show up at the top of the listings, but it does show up as #1 on the Yelp map. Go figure. Anyway, Paul was friendly, efficient, and I was glad I found another good smog check option the day my usual place was closed (Sunday). read more

10/30/23 Sunday- I went to PT Smog to get a smog test and was very pleased to find a location open on SUNDAYS. There was one vehicle currently being tested/serviced. Paul came to my car window to meet me and let me know that he could help me out as soon as he was complete with the vehicle he was servicing, and gave me the paperwork to fil out. Within 10 minutes, my car was pulled in and being serviced. Took about another 10-15 minutes from beginning to end of service. Cost $65. No discounts offered/available. He showed me my Pass/Fail verdict and printed me out a copy for myself, along with basic instructions/information on how the process works. Paul was very personable and helpful. Nice guy. Great experience, overall and I'd highly recommend. read more

Smog check was done very quickly. Prices are reasonable. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. Def will come back for services.

This is the place to go if you need a smog. The guy is a true professional and has great customer service.

I came to PT smog on a Sunday afternoon to get a smog done on a vehicle I was purchasing. Operation hours have changed for many businesses due to covid and does not accurately reflect the hours on Yelp. Although it was out of our way, thankfully PT smog was one of the very few to be open on a Sunday. Paul was able to get me in and out in less than 10 minutes! He was quick and gave me all the paperwork I needed before leaving the shop. Highly recommend! 10/10 P.s; I believe PT smog closes at 3pm on Sunday but I highly advise to call ahead to confirm! read more

PT Smog - Great SMOG spot with the best prices. Easy, friendly, and fast. Nothing fancy to over charge you with. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Long Beach, California

Needed a quick star smog because my deadline was coming up. Couldn't take the time off from work during the week, so I googled Star Smog near my address. PT Smog showed up as being open on a Sunday! None of the big shops were open on Sunday. So I called the number and "PT" answered. What kind of car and how long before you get here. Almost an in and out service. When I pulled up another customer er had just pulled in. When I got the car in, a personable, charismatic, but, professional gentleman brought me a clipboard. When the car pulled out, I was up. Hooked up, test ran, paperwork done. Almost as fast as a wham bam .... Thank you..... If you need a Star Test, Holla at PT SMOG! He'll take care of you. Just make sure you keep up with his pen!!! read more

Paul was very easy to work with and had me pull my car in after finishing an appointment with another customer which didn't take long at all. After it was my turn, he ran the test and had me fill out some paper work and I was all done. Friendly and quality service for smog in Long Beach, CA. Thank you again Paul! read more

Paul is your go-to guy for smog needs. He's very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable when it comes to smog and automotive needs. For example, he was informing me on why certain cars (like a mini cooper) needed more work compared to cars. And why maintaining European cars are more costly compared to domestic cars. If you're looking for a smog shop that's professional and friendly. Head down to this shop. He'll even offer you a beer while you wait. read more
