The smog check costs $65 if you pass. If you don't, you can make the necessary repairs and return for a retest at no additional charge since the original $65 covers it. Payment is accepted through Zelle or by card (with a 3% fee), so cash is the best option for the flat rate. The shop was clean, efficient, and had us in and out in just 10 minutes. Absolutely the best smog experience I've ever had -- hands down! After struggling to pass smog for over a year, I was seriously at my wit's end. I even drove to San Diego and back at midnight just to try and complete the drive cycle -- nearly 5 hours total! I rate this place excellent even though it's a little rustic with the customer waiting area; a couple of chairs on one side and a couch on the other side. But I love that they are open on Sunday. This really helps with the working folks who can't go during the week. I give them 5 stars for customer service. The owner is very friendly and professional. I was a little nervous my car wouldn't pass because of a stored code. But he checked it for free and said my car was ready for the test. Called in and was able to get information right away and also was able to drive in within 10 mins and on a Sunday. Price was reasonable. The smog check took about 10 mins.
