Dishonest!! I didn't know this but if you have a check engine light on, it's an automatic smog fail! The owner didn't tell me this!! In Oct. 2021, 1993 Toyata MR2 went there twice on two consecutive days and failed each time for a different reason. The Smog Father charged double for the smog checkes. The catalyst was just changed in 2019, and MR2 passed the smog check easily in 2019. Since this result is logged into the government system other stations are then reluctant to touch the car. After failed the smog check in 2021, the MR2 cost around a thousand dollas as we didn't know we should have done the nonoperation filing, and got FTB levys for years. In 2024 we did smog check in San Pedro Car Doctor that the car could pass without any further work needed. Really recommend San Pedro Car Doctor is as the smog check. read more
