Landsdowne exceeded all of my expectations! The space was amazingly beautiful with exposed brick and an industrial feel while still being warm and inviting. Not to mention the gorgeous bar you see right when you walk in. The service was 10/10. They course out all of your dishes so everything feels intentional and you can really savor and enjoy each dish separately. Everything we had from the cocktails to the small plates and main dish even down to the dessert was just out of this world. The scallops were my favorite if I had to pick just one! I had been meaning to find a High tea place for ages now and Lansdowne seemed to fit the bill- Reservations are easy , the food and tea options seemed diverse and beautiful decor -ticked all of my criteria . I found them on Instagram -so great job on marketing ! My friends made a reservation and we arrived on time and were attended to immediately . I did have a little bit of struggle finding parking on a weekend but if you are Ok driving a little around ,it should be alright . We were told to pick our teas and the food platter/tower arrived shortly . There are savory and sweet options as well as a soup . we all seemed to prefer the savoury options just a little bit more . I really liked the teas that were offered and the small tea light under it kept it warm for a while. Overall , I would say this was a fun experience with a reasonable price tag . read more

What a lovely experience top to bottom! Our party of three shared the lamb, the scallops and the crab pasta and finished with chocolate cake and strawberry sorbet. Everything was outstanding, particularly the pine nuts and beans with the lamb and the crab and pasta. The espresso martini and red wines and port were also top notch. What an unbelievable dining experience we just had at Lansdowne! My husband and I had the tasting menu with wine pairings at the recently opened new location in NW. We were blown away with each item on the tasting menu - even the bread and butter was absolutely delicious and unique and the oysters were the best I have ever had. The locally sourced wines were the perfect match with each dish. It is so exciting to have this restaurant on the west side - I would go back in a heart beat, both for the food and ambiance (which was lovely too and you could tell a lot of thought and effort went in to making it feel just right, including the background music!) read more

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! My dinner at the NW location is my first trip so I can't compare to the previous location, but the food was excellent and the wine pairings were spot on. It was still their soft launch, but the location has a great vibe and I can't wait for the bar seating to open up and I will definitely be back for both a full meal or just snacks and drinks! My wife and I ate there last night and had an exceptional meal and overall experience. The service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Kickass Old Fashion, followed by unbelievable oysters and creative mussel appetizers. We shared a fresh green salad and had the scallops along with the pork ragu pasta. The scallops were our favorite. Pricing seems quite reasonable given the attention to detail, ingredients and presentation. It's tucked away in a cool old building, formally Puck Puck and Bent Brick. I'm gluten free and I think some of the substitutions were better than the original options based on my friend's feedback but I was just so happy they offered gluten free options. The welcome cocktail was a really nice touch and it was very delicious! They do have a full bar which I wasn't really sure about until I asked. Service was great and really friendly. For $75 I thought the portions and amount of food was great. It can be a little loud when there's a full house but besides that the atmosphere is really warm and inviting! read more

I took my 10 year old here for lunch at tea time, and she asked me to come home and write a good review. Tea is the perfect meal for kids. She could eat tiny bites of whatever she wanted. She especially loved the lamb meatball, the tiny cup of chocolate mousse, and the scone. (I liked the scone too.) She also noted the Japanese-inspired decor, from the screens to the cherry blossoms, color scheme and flower spoons. They have a kids' option for under-12s, which is still a little pricey, but a fun treat if you love high tea. read more
