    The Snack tower

I had been meaning to find a High tea place for ages now and Lansdowne seemed to fit the bill- Reservations are easy , the food and tea options seemed diverse and beautiful decor -ticked all of my criteria . I found them on Instagram -so great job on marketing ! My friends made a reservation and we arrived on time and were attended to immediately . I did have a little bit of struggle finding parking on a weekend but if you are Ok driving a little around ,it should be alright . We were told to pick our teas and the food platter/tower arrived shortly . There are savory and sweet options as well as a soup . we all seemed to prefer the savoury options just a little bit more . I really liked the teas that were offered and the small tea light under it kept it warm for a while. Overall , I would say this was a fun experience with a reasonable price tag .

What an unbelievable dining experience we just had at Lansdowne! My husband and I had the tasting menu with wine pairings at the recently opened new location in NW. We were blown away with each item on the tasting menu - even the bread and butter was absolutely delicious and unique and the oysters were the best I have ever had. The locally sourced wines were the perfect match with each dish. It is so exciting to have this restaurant on the west side - I would go back in a heart beat, both for the food and ambiance (which was lovely too and you could tell a lot of thought and effort went in to making it feel just right, including the background music!)

    Grilled maitake, so good

This is a great new addition to our neighborhood. The food was so good. Everything we had was great. See the photos. The service was just as good. Steven, our server was outstanding, very personable and knowledgeable about the details of every dish we ordered. I recommend this place 100%.

A great space matched by the food and drink (and service). A great addition to my neighborhood!

Lansdowne is a 10/10! Stephen is a great server, and I love how all of the staff works together to create a seamless tasting experience. The food is spectacular, and the oyster is one of the best that I've ever had. The wine list is well curated, and the cocktails celebrate Portland. I'm a big fan of the espresso martini. The ambiance is lovely and moody, perfect for a nice night out.

Charming new spot for afternoon tea. The tea service offers a good variety of sweet/savory with just the right amount of food. They have a decent though not extensive tea selection but overall lovely presentation, space and attentive service.

    Oysters to die for

My wife and I ate there last night and had an exceptional meal and overall experience. The service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Kickass Old Fashion, followed by unbelievable oysters and creative mussel appetizers. We shared a fresh green salad and had the scallops along with the pork ragu pasta. The scallops were our favorite. Pricing seems quite reasonable given the attention to detail, ingredients and presentation. It's tucked away in a cool old building, formally Puck Puck and Bent Brick. Cozy ambiance and comfortable tables. Will definitely be returning!

My group ordered the tasting menu and it was absolutely exceptional in every way! My favorites were the espresso martini, the steak and scallops! Amazing staff. Excited to have a new restaurant in Portland and NW.

    Dirty martini!

Inside is dark and cozy, perfect for a rainy afternoon or evening. My only complaint is there is a lot of wood and all the hard surfaces don't reflect noise so it's sometimes challenging to hear. They have a wonderful assortment of wines and not all local. For me, that's a good thing. Yes I love a Willamette Valley Pinot or a Washington Cabernet, but I get a lot of those when I'm visiting these areas, which I do frequently. At Muse you can enjoy a red from France, Spain, Italy, as well as local. Lots of whites and some bubbles, too. You can do a tasting of three half glass pours of your choice, or order a glass. Some nights they have tastings that they have preselected. Last night, based on Alex's recommendation, after telling him my preferences, I had the 2021 Crozes-Hermitage from Paris. It was a bigger red, but so smooth. Next I went with the Rioja Gran Reserva which was more fruit forward. Another winner. Their cheese and jam plates are fabulous, the cheese especially delicious, and pair perfectly with the wines. Have a feeling I'll be back frequently to this charming neighborhood wine since my friend works out next door, so it's a perfect meeting spot.

Amazing recommendations from the staff, as well. They know their wines! Just describe your favorite taste or feeling. No need to know wine lingo for them to know exactly what you want.

Drinks: - N/A…read more Food: - The Focaccia w/ Garlic Eggplant Butter is amazing. This is a must get. The focaccia is dense and can make you full fast, but the garlic eggplant butter balances it out and makes me feel less full. It's hard to explain but it just makes me hungrier as I eat - The Young Yellowtail Toast is also a must get. The amount of yellowtail they give you is generous, it's refreshing with the lemon. We got this dish at the end of our meal. By that time we were pretty full, but the yellowtail gave us a second wind because of how good it was - The Gems and Chicories is good only if you like beets. THE BEETS IS WHAT MAKES THIS DISH, so if you're not into beets don't get this. Seriously I cannot stress enough how important the beets are and how it ties together this dish. As I was eating it, I was fairly unimpressed up until I had the beets. I had to kind of fish them out from the bottom, it was like they were hiding from me or something, but once I found them they completely transformed the salad for me - The Grilled Squid and Gremolata was forgettable, it wasn't bad by any means but the other dishes were so good it kind of drowned this one out to be honest - The Corned Lamb Terrine was also forgettable for the same reason the Grilled Squid was. I don't have anything bad to say, it just pales in comparison to the other dishes we had. Ambience: - It's a smaller place, it can fit maybe 20-25 people I think - There's a large floral display in the back wall that I was sitting next to that made for great pictures - I love all the hanging plants and the vases with plants, it zhuzhed up the place for sure. It almost gives a old timey Victorian vibe Overall: I've been to this place twice and I've enjoyed each visit. I do plan on visiting again sometime. It's a great place to meet up with friends for a drink and bites. I wouldn't go on a date here, it's a little too loud, I felt like I was screaming at my Fiancé for her to hear me. The wine is excellent and the food is good
