[[HIGHLIGHT]]plan your next girls night out at a cozy wine bar, it's hidden down an alley way and will start the night off right![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] they offer a french wine list, cocktails, and small plates of snacks. we wanted to sit down and start the night at a cozier location. we ordered cocktails and small plates to share. our bites to eat were great touches to our drinks. we were able to sit down and quickly order right away. snack plates came out timely as well. 次の女子会は、居心地がいいワインバーでお話し話して楽しむバーで過ごしてみませんか?フランス産ワイン、カクテル、小さめのスナックなどをごメニューにだしております。女子会楽しんでね!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute intimate wine bar! Perfect for date night or girls night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a good selection of wines (I don't know much about wine), but I enjoyed what I got. I would get a bottle to get a better deal if sharing with others! The servers had good recommendations if you don't know where to start. The lobster roll was good but tiny for $18. It was like 3 bites.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Okay, this place is cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entrance is down a narrow alleyway off of NW 21st, but there's more seating inside and outside than you might think.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a nice wine list with a small but mighty menu. Great chicken liver mousse. I was excited for the lobster roll but honestly found it lacking. Definitely not my favorite lobster roll, and I thought it was a small portion for the price, but it was still enjoyable. The service was friendly and fun, and we felt like we could talk without being rushed or having to raise our voices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The noise level when I went here with a friend was good: a nice upbeat vibe without being too quiet or too loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely go here again!

Bar Diane was quaint with nice appetizers, good gluten free options for some guests. Good quality ingredients such as hamachi crudo and burrata. Great olives too, small but important. Very good drink menu and bar staff. Would go back sometime, but no rush.

Underwhelming...The prices were insanely high for how little food we got...My friend literally finished his risotto in 2 minutes because there were at most four tablespoons of it. The taste of the food wasn't bad but the portion was ridiculously small for price tags of $30+. I got the Lamb Tagliatelle which was also very small and bland. The lamb was tender though. I see that they try to be novel and creative with their dishes which is great but you can't be cutting the portion this badly and still have a massive price tag. Service was also mid. We waited awhile for our food and almost got double charged. Would not be back again.

Great cocktail bar! I came here with some girl friends one night and had a great time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is a bit hidden, but once inside, the ambiance is very laid back and bright.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was kind, and pretty quick. We tried a couple cocktails here and the food and it wasn't bad! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the vibe here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cute, cute, cute! Snuggled into a back alley corner, charming setting, perfect two and not more. Food most definitely on the pricey end but all delish. Service ~ excellent. Personable, attentive & sweet. Perfect spot for a few glasses of natural & sparkling wine.

After an awesome visit last summer I knew I had to come back for this sunny March weekend. We ordered the raspberry hibiscus shrub, old fashioned (off menu), and a glass of their Champagne. They were all so good! To eat we had the milk bread rolls + honey (I could've eaten 4 of these orders), octopus, hangar steak, dozen oysters (incredible), and chicken liver mousse. All the staff were so friendly and the service was great! The outdoor patio with lights was absolutely perfect for a sunny weekend.

this is definitely a hidden gem right by negociant as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cozy aesthetic vibes indoor and outdoors, heated patio available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While it is on the more upscale end, super intimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We met up for drinks and bites and started with espresso martinis 10/10 substituted with tequila. We got the chicken liver mousse with the sardines. The sardines were definitely my favorite with the milk rolls. Service was great over all. Parking is a bit hard to find. In total it came out to $30 each for all the above.

This is the spot. Full, lively, definitely seemed like the place to be if you're into wine. We paid a lot for a pretty small lobster roll but it was tasty. We really need to try the other food. Our server was really helpful with trying to figure out what to pair with our taste and food.

Cute and cozy neighborhood bar. If that's what you're looking for, Bar Diane is your jam. We had dinner nearby and wanted some cocktails. I am a sucker for good branding and when I pulled the website up I WAS sucker punched by the cuteness of it. Some cute cocktails grabbed my attention and I loved the website, and it was a 6 minute walk. So winner winner cocktail dinner!!!! I had a Telenovela after I was informed, sadly, that they'd run out of Aperol, so I couldn't have the Control Disco. It was lovely. Refreshing, crisp, lemony and light. Perfect for a hot summer day. My husband went with the Water of Youth. I tasted his LONG before he did (lol) and it was nice. Very light citrus, heavy on the mezcal. Since he had barely touched his drink I got myself a Dirty Blonde. It was definitely heavier in alcohol than the Telenovela, but still very refreshing and citrus forward. It was pretty busy but the staff was friendly and pretty attentive. We did have to wait some time to get refills on water and new drinks but we were relaxing and enjoying some good cocktails before heading to Crystal Ballroom. We both used the restroom before leaving and it's very clean. I would definitely come back again and try another cocktail!

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

But as soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is beautiful, with a stylish central bar that immediately catches your eye. Although they do serve food, I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to just enjoy a couple of drinks. There are a few dining tables inside if you're planning to have a meal as well. The bartender was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with me after I asked for a few recommendations. The drinks were excellent, well-balanced, flavorful, and actually tasted like proper cocktails instead of just juice. They definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol either! I'm really glad I chose this place to celebrate. It ended up being the perfect spot for the occasion.

Scotch Lodge recently won Outstanding Bar at 2026 James Beard Awards and it absolutely deserves it…read more The cocktails here are seriously some of the best that I've had in the States. In addition to creative, well-prepared cocktails, the food here is equally spectacular. My wife and I shared their Wagyu tartar and a soft shell crab sando. You'll see these two dishes at virtually every single table if you look around the restaurant during your visit and there's good reason for it: these two dishes are perfectly executed. Every piece of the tartare is evenly cut the be the same size, and there wasn't a single piece that was stringy or chewy. The dish itself was well-seasoned, and the freshly fried kettle chips provided the crunchy texture the dish needed. The soft shell crab sando is served between two toasted slices of rich, decadent, buttered milk bread. The crab has a wonderfully crispy outer shell and atop of the crab is a mountain of crunchy, tangy slaw. They must have done a bunch of R&D and experimentation playing with the ratio of the ingredients because every bite was balanced. If there's one dish you have to order during your visit, make it the crab sando. The two cocktails I tried out were the "loch stock" -- mezcal, smoky scotch, ancho reyes, lapsang souchong sweet vermouth, and mole bitters, and the "up country road" -- bourbon, coconut-inflused sweet vermouth, macadamia nut campari. I cannot articulate how incredible these two drinks tasted. The flavor profile of the drinks are punchy and exactly as described. I am certain there's something on the menu for everyone's palette. I would highly advise you to stay hydrated throughout your visit so you're able to make it to two, or even three round of drinks. The drinks are that good. I cannot recommend Scotch Lodge enough if you're visiting Portland. Definitely make a reservation and be sure to try out the food as well.
