What a cute find! Walking through Sellwood, you're bound to find charming spots like this. The moment you walk through the door, the smell of fresh coffee greets you with the sound of smooth jazz in the background. The space is open, yet cozy. Little nooks to hideaway and get work done or a full bar where you can sit and have a glass of wine with friends. The workers were very sweet and helped us with out order. The menu isn't extensive but has a good amount of choices including lite food options. In the end we got one of their seasonal coffees, a wonderful artisanal tea, and a savory squash pastry that was to die for. I'm excited to return sometime in the evening for a cute date night. This was one of the most beautiful cafes I've stepped into! I love the numerous candles throughout the space, the artwork, and warm tones. There is plenty of seating whether on the tables or the bar countertop. FYI they have a laptop usage rule of max 90mins, just something to be mindful about if you plan to work here. I came here in the morning and got the Sir Newton Latte, which was delicious and strong. I was eyeing the food items others were getting too which looked great. Service was really nice and friendly. Yours Truly is a cute quaint cafe. The space is cozy and offers a light menu of coffees, teas, and treats (in the morning). The main space is dark with the wooden interior and just a handful of small tables, so we sat by the entrance with lots of natural light and plenty of space to park a stroller. Both the latte and food were good, I believe I ordered a simple oat milk latte and the Strawberry Toast. I enjoyed the calm and quiet vibes. read more

Vibes are awesome, coffee was not. It was so sour I could barely drink it. I know some love these super light roasts, not me. That said, the roasted broccoli snack (they offer several to choose from) was amazingly delicious. Its a tiny spot, so not much seating. They also keep the lighting fairly dim, so its quite dark inside, not great for being alert and studying/working if thats your goal. It is VERY cute, well designed interior space and a great spot to relax, grab a snack and perhaps meet a friend. With a few tweaks (brighter light, better espresso) this could be a top little cafe for me. read more

Cute little spot that flexes as a coffee/tea bar and also a wine bar! The interior is small, cozy and very cute with more seating than I initially anticipated. I came by with a couple friends on a weekday and happened upon a wine flight even which I was all about~ Thankfully we came early and were able to grab a table before it got too busy! You order at the counter and then they bring your bites/bottles out to you. We did the wine flight which was delicious and they were adequately generous with their pours. I also grabbed the mushroom toast which was good, but also felt like it was missing just a touch of salt or acid to brighten it up. Service was super friendly and helpful esp because we were a tad indecisive. Would swing by more frequently if I lived in the area because it seems like such a cute spot to get work done and then go into the late afternoon with a glass of wine. Yes, it's cute and has gone viral online, but as someone who lives and works nearby, it feels like it misses the mark. It lacks the warmth and kindness that so many other neighborhood spots naturally offer. I stopped in around lunchtime with friends. We were given the breakfast menu, so we asked when lunch/dinner was served. The answer we got was: "Whenever we feel like it." My friend followed up: "So around noon or one? Can we order off the lunch menu then?" The response was the same: "It's just whenever we feel like serving it." It wasn't clear, and the shrugging responses left us unsure of what to expect. We decided to leave and grab lunch elsewhere rather than sit in confusion, especially after the same vague answer was repeated when another friend asked. As we headed out, someone did mention, "Oh, we can serve you lunch, it's just not time yet,"but again, no actual timeframe was given. Update 10/26/25: I thought my writing group and I had found our new home. A place open late, every day of the week, wine and coffee, yes! Well, not so much any more. Please note you cannot use your laptop here at 6 any more. So if you were hoping to drink coffee and wine, eat delicious snacks, and work on your novel, or just get some work done, you are no longer allowed to. This might be a bonus for some, but as a writer who sometimes cannot make writing group until 4:30 or 5, this place is now somewhere I cannot go. I hope this rule changes, as I'd love to frequent them again, but as of right now, they have lost my business. Old Review: I LOVE this place! I've been on the search for a new coffee and wine bar since my last favorite closed, and it feels like fate Yours Truly has come into my life. Everyone I've met who works there is so nice, and helpful. If I'm not sure what wine I'd like they make recommendations and give me a taste if I'd like. And while I'm not a coffee drinker, I love a chai or a London fog, and they've always been delish! I'm also working my way through the menu, but there have been no stinkers so far! This is a cute new neighborhood cafe that's also sells wine. I only tried the coffee during the day. It's a large space, which was nice, but service was off. There were three young women working the counter but when I walked in, all three of their backs were turned to me as they were busy prepping food or coffee drinks. Ironically, the place wasn't very crowded and there weren't anyone else in line. I stood there for a good minute and no one turned around to acknowledge me or say they would be right with me. Just totally ignored. Then finally someone turned around and took my order. She was nice enough and friendly, but the barista was another story. After making my cappuccino, she called my name and I came to pick it up. She didn't smile or anything when I said thanks, almost a scowl. This place is truly beautiful! My friend and I came yesterday and we were welcomed with big smiles, which felt very comforting. We needed a place to sit, relax, and have space to be creative. My friend had just arrived from NY, so we set off walking and almost passed Yours Truly and the upon looking at the warm and welcoming cafe decided to give it a try. Carol and I are very glad we did. Besides the stunning bar and general feel of the place, we chose to sit outside and ordered sparking wine, delicious, perfect for a celebratory drink. We ordered Burrata, basil oil and artichokes and Charred broccoli, lemon zest and almonds. They also served us sourdough and tasty butter. Everything was delicious and presentation was perfect. Hard to believe Star had just opened. She is warm and welcoming. My friend Carol went back the next morning for coffee, and I will definitely be back as the atmosphere is perfect for a coffee or wine.
