    Espresso martini and old fashion

This place is too cute! Drinks were amazing (mezcal espresso martini?! say less!) and the flavors of the sauce on the shrimp was sooooo yummy. Will definitely be a go-to date night spot!

The ambiance is very nice and welcoming. Happy hour menu. The frozen drinks are like nothing I've had before; very smooth, flavorful, strong. The arroz frito was very good. I would order it again. Good serving size. Shrimp cooked perfectly. Gave an Asian feel but definitely with a cuben touch. Wish they had more seafood options or veggie options.

Came on a Saturday night and waited about 10 minutes for a table. The cocktails are good. The food is kind of overpriced but it aligns with the area. The crowd favorite was the ceviche. Wings were just okay. The steak was really salty. The table agree. Salmon wasn't bad. Nice sear. Pork shoulder wasn't memorable.

Yummy drinks, attentive service, dim atomsphere, good vibes. Right in the heart of NW 23rd. Got two rounds of drinks, all 4 we tried were delicious! Looking forward to coming back for their food!

Had a lovely meal here with a beautiful window seat and friendly service. Cocktails were delicious! The guava margarita definitely had a punch to it so lots of water to balance it out but the papa doble was just right. Loved the plantain chips with the ceviche tho it had a bit more lime/salt than I'd like but still good. All main plates were beautifully presented. Asparagus fresh and grilled so well. Camerones criollo and lechon asado were both tasty. Lechon was super tender and full of flavor! Loved the rice and picked veggies that accompanied it. Would happily recommend and return again for another visit.

a nice raw fish preparation. A little hard to eat since it was on a single tortilla but we took turns picking it up and taking a bite, haha

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner and the vibes were immaculate. A great place to hang out and grab a drink/dinner with friends (cool decor, excellent frozen drinks and good food).

Hellllloooooo Palomar! I came for your espresso martini because I saw the mezcal and cafe de olla elements but you blew me away with your food flavors and textures! Your space is beautiful and staff attentive, hats off to the chefs and bartenders!

Rotating Tres Leches. So I really need to say more. We had the Root Beer Float Tres Leches, and it was amazing! The texture was perfect. And the flavor was beautifully balanced. The rest of the food was delicious, too. But c'mon--root beer float tres leches?! The wait staff was friendly. And the place is really cute.

Located in the beautiful Nob Hill area, Palomar is along a strip of many other great restaurants and shops. The space is relatively small in a lowly lit intimate setting. I dined here with both my Madre and sister for the collaboration with Plant Based Papi curating a phenomenal plant-based menu. We tried all three dishes on the menu to share tapa style. Both the team at Palomar and Plant Based Papi made dishes that were not only delicious, but also were thoughtfully created and unique. The staff here were all super friendly and very attentive ensuring we had the best experience possible. I look forward to dining here again in the future.

Delicious food and drinks. I've never had Cuban food before, but it was fantastic. Food: *I've forgotten the exact name of dishes* The shrimp dish with coconut rice was hands down the best thing we tried and I would come back just to eat it again. Steak was also very enjoyable, but with the price to taste ratio I probably wouldn't order it again. Fried rice was also good, but very soy sauce/ salt forward. Service: We made a reservation, but arrived early, and the host happily seated us early. Service was good, prompt, and we were checked in with regularly. Ambiance: It was a really well taken care of bar/restaurant with trendy decor. Would be a great date night spot.

Are they open normal hours on Black Friday?

Yes, we are open normal hours 4pm-midnight

Hi! I have two boys (16 & 11) and they both love Cuban food. Are there any hours when minors are allowed? I know they'd love to visit for lunch. Thank you in advance.

Briana, Thanks for writing. We allow minors until 9pm at Palomar. Just a heads up, our lunch hours…

    Is there bike parking?

Yes! There is bike parking located right out front on division and also next to our loading bay.

Can you get the daiquiris made without alcohol ? My sister does not drink but loves virgin daiquiris! Want to see if this is available before taking her.

We have many NA beverages available. The most popular are the piña colada, strawberry daiquiri and mojito.

Are the owners from Cuba? Where? Do you play Cuban music? Do you have Havana Club or Santiago de Cuba run? Cristal or bucanero beer?

Yes. I was born in the United States but both my parents are from Havana. My father is from almendares Unfortunately we don’t carry any of those products for sale as they are still prohibited for sale in the US.…

The interior is attractive and very modern, and there is a large covered and heated patio if you prefer to sit outside (we did). The service was a little bit slow, but not egregious and the server was very friendly. The menu is not extensive, but it has good variety and everything on it looked excellent. All of their ingredients seem high-quality, and they have a number of gluten-free and vegetarian offerings. I ended up getting the eggs benedict, which came with a little salad. The salad was fresh, not wilted, and came with a light vinaigrette. The eggs benedict was absolutely stellar-- perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and grilled halloumi to give some well-received brine to the bite, all atop an english muffin. For the price point and the quality, the portions are good. My one wish was that I could have subbed my salad for some of their potatoes! My partner got the pork belly hash, and thought that the potatoes were cooked perfectly-- crispy and well-seasoned. He did notice that there were only a few pieces of pork in the dish, but we chalked this up to the ingredient quality. We ended up staying for Happy Hour, which was fun! We got the fries with garlic aioli (so good!) and I ordered their daily cocktail special, a margarita. They gave me a good, heavy, pour, which is always appreciated. Great brunch spot if you want to go somewhere a little chic.

They are genuinely happy. I've been here maybe a dozen times in the last two years, and the serving crew is always top notch. The cocktails are consistently great too. So, that goes a long way for repeat business! The food is usually excellent, and a recent brunch was outstanding (see pics). Occasionally, there has been a near miss with too much salt on the Brussels sprouts or other minor infraction like that. All in all, it has displaced Serrato as my "go to" to meet up with friends. I've only eaten outside, so I have no idea what the inside experience is like. Outside, it's a sheltered patio with heaters if needed and a few small tables against the building as well. Bonus for this area in general is that it's a great place to walk around and window shop, and it's relatively close to the Japanese and Rose Gardens (by car).
