Upscale cocktail bar with Taco Bell style copycat foods. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here in a weekend night and it was busy (and got busier later in the night), but I was able to get seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is very dark, high ceilings, but had a good vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's an order at the bar type of place and they'll bring your food/drinks out to you. My friend and I both ordered a fun cocktail and a crunch wrap and gordita. The drinks took a while to come out to us and weren't done properly, so I had to take them back to get fixed. They basically put an ingredient in my friends cocktail that was meant for mine. They quickly remedied the situation. Our food came out. hot and the look of Taco Bell but with a more homemade taste. I also got a potato taco (patatas bravas) and it was really disappointing because it was fries inside of a taco. Would not order that again. We ordered a second round of cocktails and decided that this place was great for cocktails bit mediocre for food. (I grabbed a slice from next door when we left.) Would come again! The drinks are good!

Loved the Taco Bell inspired menu, my Crunchwrap so a perfect entree for dinner. Huge portion!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun spot to grab drinks after work![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved my drink, "Only Fans" which was super refreshing and delicious. I didn't expect the edible glitter but it was a fun addition. Excellent bar snacks (love me a good French fry)

Went for food and drinks with a couple friends. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was really busy when we arrived, but mellowed out once the dinner crowd dispersed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great tacos & drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice patio area as well. Way more seating outside than in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I was acknowledged and welcomed when I arrived. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little spot for amazing cocktails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very presentable and pretty and tastes even better! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only thing, I was a bit disappointed was if I wanted to sit out in the patio, ordering drinks at the bar may cause me to lose my seating if I went by myself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food items are shareable but I would come just for the drinks!

We came for happy hour on a Friday evening and were able to snag a table inside after another couple leaving. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were options outdoors but November jn Oregon is cold!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We mainly wanted to try their taco bell menu but it was largely sold out. I would not recommend the potato taco because it was just french fries in a tortilla. The french fries themselves were waffle and good. The tortillas were not cooked great and thus broke apart instantly. We enjoyed our drinks and would come back to try the taco bell menu items that were sold out.

What a find for someone not from PDX! While staying at the Jupiter NEXT hotel my wife and I were looking for a classier bar than the typical Burnside dives but didn't want something too expensive. Well, we hit the jackpot with the Dirty Pretty! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe inside was exactly what the name implied, a grungy gorgeous that was so uniquely Portland![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We decided to stop here because the reviews talked about their unofficial Taco Bell menu, and everything was super on point. Taco Bell can eat their damn hearts out, there's no comparison here! The Crunchwrap was a little pricey, but almost double the size of the Taco Bell version and the ingredients were so good that it was more than worth the $15! My wife had a massive bowl of Carnitas nachos as well, so much that there was no way she was able to eat all of it. To top it off, they have these alcoholic "Baja Blast" inspired cocktails that are super tasty, and almost a little dangerous without easy they are to drink! You order at the bar, but your food's delivered to your seat. The staff is super friendly, even when they were slammed they made sure to take a moment to talk to me as soon as I walked up to the bar. Some of the best service I've had in a super busy bar in a long time. The food was so good that my wife and I just had to go back! The second time around we got that awesome drink again, but this time we both tried the XL gordita taco. It's essentially a double-decker taco, with a very crunchy shell wrapped inside of a flower tortilla with some cheese in between. Again, this was a wonderful taco and was quite large. It was well worth the $6.50. Most importantly for me, all of these dishes can be made vegan. They use Beyond Meat for their taco mix and it's quite good, and I'm not sure what exactly they put between the two tortillas for the taco when I asked for it vegan but it was super tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This made a great date spot that will be remembered for a long time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm already dreaming of that Crunchwrap and will definitely stop back in there again next time we're in Portland!

A 1000x yes. Was taken Here for my bday dinner and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibe is so fun and the food is very good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place inside is small with limited tables and very crowded for a Thursday evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You order drinks and food at the bar, and the bartender and other servers were awesome. The food came out relatively quickly for how busy it was- it was hot and all good. We ordered a little of everything and really want to go back already; for drinks, we got the 'Green Lotus' (essentially a matcha espresso martini) one of the best drinks I've ever had, along with the 'Blahaj Blast' (margarita type) that was already premade. Also got the 'Pear Pressure' mocktail and it was different than usual- all presentations were very pretty. For food, we got the XL Gordita crunch, spicy papas, crunch wrap, queso cheese burger, crunch wrap and jalapeño popper Mac n cheese bites. We shared everything to get a taste of the menu- everything was super delicious. The queso burger was so juicy, and the poppers weren't spicy as it sounds. Though, we were too full for the crunch wrap, but took it home and enjoyed it for a late night munchie treat. Parking can be a bit tight as it's street parking with a lot going on all around.

I only came for the food, and the food itself is worth the price of admission. I'm sure people come for the food and stay for the drinks with this spot. I only had the tacos. They took an outrageous amount of time to come out but they were really really good. The menu is pretty neat. If you're looking for yummy bites while you drink fancy stuff then this is a fit for you. If you are just in it for the food, there are other places better suited for your needs. (4.3 Stars)

Loved it all!! The food was amazing and came out quick which was appreciated after a long travel day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes were lovely - chill, laid back, casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu had something for everyone. I ended up taking my coworkers back a few nights later because I enjoyed it so much.

Only Fans - $14 - it was good but I feel like it could use some finish or ornamentation!

It's a pretty neat little bar that offers a good selection of tequila and Mezcal spirits. They also have other spirits to choose from. The place has a nice chill and relaxing atmosphere to it. We ordered a couple of drinks - Green Lotus and Burnside Bully. Both of the drinks were excellent. I did really enjoy the Green Lotus - vodka, coconut, pandan, coffee, sesame, and matcha. We also did the spoon the wheel for a random $7 shot. We landed on the mystery tequila and Baja blast shots. The Baja blast did remind me of the drink. We also ordered the funnel cake fries, which I highly recommend. Overall, it was a great time with some delicious drinks.

Drinks, service, and food were great. This is a great spot to snack and have a cocktail. I'm looking forward to another opportunity to come back and try more items.

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

But as soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is beautiful, with a stylish central bar that immediately catches your eye. Although they do serve food, I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to just enjoy a couple of drinks. There are a few dining tables inside if you're planning to have a meal as well. The bartender was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with me after I asked for a few recommendations. The drinks were excellent, well-balanced, flavorful, and actually tasted like proper cocktails instead of just juice. They definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol either! I'm really glad I chose this place to celebrate. It ended up being the perfect spot for the occasion.

As a heads up tho, I wouldn't come here if I had a party more than 4 if you want to seated quickly, less in your party is better! The moment you step inside, it feels like you've been transported somewhere tropical! If it is daytime outside, you wouldn't be able to tell inside of Hale Pele. Thankfully, the timing worked out where when our friends arrived we were able to be seated fairly quickly so we lucked out. They will not seat you until your entire party is there which I appreciate. The decor is what you would expect it to be with tiki style furnishings all around and a soundtrack to accompany the vibes. Once you walk in and shut the door behind you, it's almost a given that you'll forget the time of day because the entire place is windowless. Another cool feature if you ask me. I have to say when looking around I kept contemplating the fact that someone walked in here and said "yeah, this will make a great tiki lounge". Regardless, they were right! The food was actually delicious. I had the cuban sandwich and the hawaiian bread.

We even asked our waitress if we can keep the leftover olive oil to use it with the bread we ordered lol The oysters were also fantastic. They were barbecued, which isn't something you see every day. A little drier than a raw oyster, but still full of flavor. Limited seating so be sure to call ahead of time for a reservation if need be.
