As a notorious plant killer, I was skeptical to spend any more money on a plant. But a friend bought me one for my birthday (from landmark plant co.) and I managed to keep it alive 1.5 years so I figured it had to speak volumes to their business. I had some pots from Anthropologie and other various places I was itching to fill with plants. Landmark will do that for you for a very small (reasonable) potting fee, which kind of made the process even more fun. The few times I've been in the store, the staff have been very knowledgeable about plant varieties and care. And in addition to my birthday plant, I've gotten 4 more of my own plants and another for part of a baby shower present. In addition to a wide variety of plants, they also have cards and other gifts. I came here to buy some housewarming gifts recently, and thought it was really cute! The staff member who was there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Plants themselves are pretty pricey (much cheaper down the road), but their assortment of pottery is fantastic. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, several other customers here as well. It's a small plant shop, but such great aesthetic. There's succulents, planters, arrangements outside, and a little shop with indoor plants, air plants, and other cute vibey things. The plants all appear healthy and well cared for. The lady working was very pleasant and kind. I love the attention to detail. I purchased a 4" philodendron, and they included the drip tray AND a instruction card. Kid-friendly with inventory worthy of your time and money! I knew I was going to be in the San Diego area with my wife and son so naturally I looked up the local plant shops. I happened to browse Landmark Plants' yelp reviews and saw a commenter make mention of the fact that Landmark has spray bottles for kids to water the plants with and I was sold. It didn't hurt that the shop looked great, but taking a 2.5 year old into a plant shop is just asking for stress. When we arrived it was everything we wanted in a plant shop. The location is so cute and the inventory is great. And thankfully the spray bottle for kids was a thing and the kind staff made my son's day with giving him a full bottle. Thanks to that spray bottle not a single plant was damaged during our visit. The staff was so helpful and so kind during our interactions. This little shop is located on the corner after the Starbucks off the Leucadia exit. Driving by my roommate and I missed it. There are three parking spots in the back and a little dirt area where (I think) you can park up in the front. Pretty cute shop. A bit overpriced compared to all the other local nurseries I've been too. I like getting unique and weird succulents whenever I come across them, but this place has a lot of the popular ones you have probably seen everywhere. I really liked the area near the register. A very stylish plant and gift boutique nestled right next to the I-5 in Encinitas. The design is stunning, lots of cute mid century styled pots and succulents. A good selection of indoor plants and two toned poinsettias seasonally for the holidays. A potting station allows customers to plant their selection and choose a topper for a full service gift option. The customer service was impeccable. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The store area is small and my two little (wild) kids were offered water spraybottles to spray the plants. Genius and so kids friendly!! I was able to shop while my kids were happy and busy. I purchased a cool doormat as a house warming gift, two succulent planters and a great citrusy smelling soy candle. They have super hip huge cement planters too aswell as cool wall planters. Parking is a little tricky with just two parking spots and one handicapped spot. Everything was packed up nicely for me and carried to my car. Unique plant shop! I'd been watching the work being done at this site and was concerned when they removed the iconic old rusted out pick up that had been there forever! I needn't have worried. The shop is a true little gem, a badly needed shot in the arm for that corner. They have gotten maximum use out of their space. Interesting succulents and rare plants abound. The owner, Maggie has a passion for what she does and it shows through. They also design and install residential and commercial landscapes I've seen their work and they do amazing things with plants and hardscape. I have seen this cute place for a while now and finally made my way in on a Sunday afternoon. As soon as I walked in, I was in love! Plants, pots, and beautiful arrangements of all of the things I adore. I found myself a little pot and a cute succulent as I specifically had been looking for one to bring to my office. When I walked in, I met Al and Abby and I immediately started chatting with them. They are incredible young ladies who are very knowledgeable about plants, plant care, and everything in between. They were so welcoming of every customer that walked in (including me!) and I really enjoyed talking with them and asking for their feedback on which pot I should get for my new succulent. Abby also took my new baby to the potting station and brought me back a happy potted succulent to take back to the office. I ended up buying a wally (I think that's what it's called) to hang plants on the wall, a keychain, a pot, and a succulent. There are different sizes of plants and various price points so there are options for everyone. This place is perfect for gifts, personal purchases, or to browse with curiosity for new plants. I love this place. The employees are always super helpful and polite. You can pick out a plant and a pot that you like and they will pot it for you. Or they even told me if you have a plant you want to repot, you can just bring it and they will do that with the pot you buy. There are plenty of great gift ideas from books, gems, keychains, plus such cute little pots you can get. I recommend this place to people looking for a more unique gift for someone.
