This is my favorite shop when I drive up the coast. There are all kinds of gifts and knickknacks and you never know what you're going to find. I found this cute bell and just had to get it since I was a teacher. The symbols on it served as inspiration for a tattoo so again, you never know what you'll find there. I love their matchboxes and it gets me excited to go in there and see if there's a new design. I have quite the collection of their matchboxes. They ladies at the desk are very quick to answer questions, great customer services. Definitely recommend stopping in. read more

Awesome spot - friendly and helpful . Great selection love to come when in town. Got some great funds that spike to me.

The service was so amazing! I recently accidentally ruined some supernatural stuff for my little cousins and I wanted to get them a little magic kit as an apology and Aries was so incredibly helpful when I explained the situation. They helped me put together a whole spell kit with candles and rocks etc and showed me all the little options! Excellent service I will definitely be coming back! read more

you'd think the wife's coven would run on Druid Standard Time, but instead of celebrating the Winter Solstice, for reasons I've been unable to discern, they're partial to Julian calendar events. long story short, that's how we wound up candle shopping New Year's Eve. she and son #4 (turns out Wiccans are as fertile as Catholics) have been regulars for years. my curiosity aroused, I asked to tag along. SOULSCAPE GIFT & BOOKSTORE's smallish and quirky with lots of cool stuff. everybody we talked with there was gregarious and engaging. easy to see why my two familiars are regulars. as long as I'm not bound in leather zip ties while they research local bogs for a ritual sacrifice, I going to try not to stress about it. besides, the joy of being turned into a pumpkin is not nearly as exciting as advertised. read more

My kid loves rocks and so we popped in and it's such a nice shop, I was at first afraid to look at the price tags, but I was pleasantly surprised how affordable the crystals and rocks were. The shop keepers were so friendly and welcoming of us. We were also told kids get to pick out a free rock. That's so kind and generous! My kid also bought a sizable rock with a decorative metal design on it. I picked out a bracelet gift for family and also managed to find a very cool Resurrection plant that really came came back to life and went from crispy brown to green in 24 hours. What a community gem! (Ba-dum! Get the pun?) read more

I stopped in this lovely shop Saturday October 4th and I was taken in by the wonderful vibes right away! The first thing I saw was several "Crow" related items - and Crows are very high up on my Totem Pole! In fact: I believe Crows to be Alien Minds right here on Earth - and I am very fond of them. They are highly intelligent. I found many wonderful things: Jai and Alejandro were extremely helpful ... and she opened the minerals/gems case and showed me the Bismuth Crystals I was interested in - they were very affordable! She went in the back and looked for a certain type of Essential Oil for me also. Such wonderful customer service: and I want to give a shout out to both of them for making my day! I would recommend this store to all of my friends! They have outstanding service, selection, and value! I will return to purchase something: very soon! read more

I'm always a fan of this store! It's a favorite to find all sorts of crystals or metaphysical items. The staff are so friendly and welcoming to anyone with questions. They even humored me when I tried on a pair of earrings to see if my annoyingly sensitive ears would react to the metal! Some items can be a little pricey but are on the low-cost side of things when you factor in location and comparative costs to similar items. The selection is HUGE, with some of the crystals being equally as large. If you have friends that are into crystals and you need a place to shop, this is an excellent place to start, as the employees will help you find a good gift for them. Anything from Moldavite to tourmaline to a huge selection of Nag Champa incense in the back of the store. read more

I found my happy place. I used to live in Hawaii and used to go to a place called Sadona. It closed down during the pandemic. After a doctor's apt, I was looking to grab something healthy by an adjourning Cafe...and found SoulScape Gift and Bookstore nearby. Everyone there was super friendly and they had an amazing number of gifts under $20. I cant wait to be able to visit again! read more

This metaphysical store is my favorite place to buy incense sticks. Every time I go there, the staff are super helpful...always willing to assist me. When I have questions, they are very knowledgeable about their products. Importantly, I don't leave without checking out their clearance section near the cards to see what unique goodies they have. Plus, they have sample oracle and tarot decks. You can go thru them to determine if they resonate with you...yayyyy, I literally give myself a 1-card reading while I'm there. This shop has been in Encinitas since I moved to North County. I realized I have not paid homage in sometime. I was way overdue. My husband and dog waited patiently in the cool air conditioned vehicle for me to peruse one of the best shops of its kind on a hot summer day. It's new age but with a modern energy. It was also busier than I recalled. I immediately found swag upon entering the shop for attendees at the UYE: Cowboy and Cowgirl Crawl. I arranged a fun scavenger hunt for National Cowboy Day in the City of Temecula. Who knew, a new age cowgirl! I didn't take photos of this item so it will be a surprise! I also picked up a few mini chakra Buddha's for in the three energetic colors of red, orange and yellow! They called to me and will be a great addition to the healing work I do. The ABC's of therapeutic tools are all represented at Soulscape. In the last year, I have become increasingly interested in energy work and some of the best schools for this are right here in Encinitas. Soulscape has the most beautiful pendulums that I have seen anywhere. Copper, gold, silver and let's not forget the natural stone varietal. The shop has a rewards program for every $100 you spend. Sign up, it's free and you will earn cash to spend. Go for inspiration, leave with no guilt. It's a place to find the perfect card, book or item you had no idea you needed but had to have! I love my mini Buddha's. Check in for Yelp offer of 10% off. I usually check in at the end so missed it! #Encinitas #MiniBuddhas #Energy #NewAgeCowgirl read more

My favorite store to visit just because and definitely on my birthday. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. They are the kindest always and I can will find the best stuff there! With covid they max the people in the store at 12. One way in one way out. Everyone in masks. With arrows in one direction through the store. Felt super safe and appreciated the caution. Left feeling great with complimentary birthday stones in hand. read more

This is an absolute gem of a store, pun intended. It has everything you could ever dream for on your journey to higher enlightenment :) it's filled with trinkets, tarot, books, candles, sage, crystals, jewelry, home decor, etc...! Some of the items has a high price tag, but you won't be able to find them elsewhere. They truly have some unique offerings here. I was able to purchase a huge Amethyst chunk which would have costed me at least $50+ at another store but I got a steal of a deal at $20! The staff was very knowledgeable when I was looking at the gemstone jewelry and they have reference gem/crystal books to highlight the properties of the crystals. This is an incredible store for gifts, treating yourself or just to browse. Highly recommend if you're in the area! read more
