Leaf is a one stop metaphysical shop. Crystals, incense, books, candles (decorative and sticks), tarot decks, oils/perfumes, jewelry, herbs - anything you can think of, they have it. Good prices compared to many other stores alike in the area with a wide variety of product options. The owner is incredibly kind and you can tell there is a lot of care put into the curation of this store. Shopping here is a special experience, there is truly nothing like it in North County. read more

If you close your eyes and think of a metaphysical haven, it will likely look like this. Straight outta Practical Magic in the best way possible. The owner seems very thoughtful. It's represented in the beautifully curated inventory, the incredible energy, and fantastic decor. Even the way they wrap your bags in indicative of how much goes into this operation. They have a great selection of tarot and oracle cards, crystals, incense, and books. They are moving to a new location soon, and I will certainly follow them there. Remember them for any witchy needs you may have. read more

I went here this weekend for some gifts and was greeted by two friendly men. I found gift I had not even expected to find and the prices were resonable. I got this necklave for $45. The man who helped me know the meaning behind the stones and was able to guide me to get the best gift for the person I was shopping for. I also got a gift certificate and am excited to take my BF daughter back here. read more

What a lovely unique store we stumbled upon. It's like a hidden Oasis in a strip mall. Filled with crystals, buddahs, plants, witchcraft, spiritual items and gifts. We used to have stores like this in the Midwest so what a nice surprise. They do psychic readings on Fridays and random days through the month. The workers were pleasant, what a zen store with soft music and a hidden fountain. If your into spiritual things or looking for a unique gift check it out. read more

The exterior is absolutely nothing like the interior. Once you cross the threshold, you're in a new place all together. It's calm. It smells wonderful and designed very well. This place is enchanting and so beautiful. I look forward to going back soon - as there are so many things in this shop to see, I know I missed things! read more

I had been looking for a malachite ring and I found it here. The worker was very sweet gentleman and he helped me find a ring the fit the inside is absolutely magical. It's so beautiful. I could've been there for way longer. Just browsing everything they have to offer. I'm pretty sure they most likely will have something for you, the ring was fairly priced. Great value for the price. read more

On a whim I went here with my husband today and I loved this store! The decor is fabulous and it is so peaceful coming in here. When you walk in it doesn't even feel like a retail space; it's just very cozy and welcoming. And there is really nice airflow in this store; it was super hot when we visited but the doors were wide open in the front and back. There are so many things to look at--tons of crystals/gems, candles, home decor, tarot cards, incense, etc. I like that it's not too New Age-y; there are some Wiccan items (including mini spell kits/altars), natural beauty products, and Eastern influenced pieces. My husband isn't really into "woo" and was a little intimidated coming in here (initially he wanted to follow me around, lol), but even he loved going in this store and started wandering off on his own. He found a lot of little items for our house, including a ceramic, a selenite mini bowl for my garden gnome, and some art prints. When we paid the girl was super nice! We weren't followed around in the store, or if we were, I was oblivious to it. Personally I've experienced way worse treatment at the now-closed Lady of the Lake store in North Park off University in San Diego. Psychic readings are available here, although it might be better to go here in person to ask or call because the schedule for the reader/readers is confusing on the website. I'm not sure how many psychics they have...? I didn't ask. They definitely have one veteran reader, but she's not always in according to their site. FYI, we came here on a Sunday and there was no reader on site (not that I would get one while my husband was with me). Psychic Fairs are monthly and listed on their socials. I haven't attended but hopefully they're popular! I *think* they also offer classes focused on psychic development, but again, I don't know how often... I actually met the owner of this store over a decade ago when he was working the front desk at the Lady of the Lake in Vista and even to this day I remember how much of a beautiful soul he was. He was so nice to me even though I was this lost, weird mess of a person. I didn't know this was his store until I checked their Instagram page and saw his photos. I'm glad he was able to open his own shop so I'll definitely support his business whenever I can! read more

It is an experience from the moment you walk through the door. The music, scents, and lush ambiance truly makes you feel relaxed. There is something for every spiritual path which includes, but not limited to books, candles, stones, crystals, oils, incense, tools, and so much more. All the items in my haul today were very reasonably priced which just means I can come back again sooner than later. The owner is always onsite and extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and a delight to talk with. read more

One of the better spiritual shops in town. Been awhile since I've been here. Glad to see nice people still work here. They know their products. Keep up with their going ons on their social media. Whatever you fancy in the energy work spiritual world. You just may find what you need here. More than your average smudging tools. They have a variety of sage not just typical sage. Lots of Palo Santo, cards and jewelry. Candles, aromatherapy, crystals, tarot and such. Books and journals. Cool shop if you're into the metaphysics or just curious. They also have readings on-site. This is definitely one of the finer spiritual stores of the area. It is quietly tucked away in the corner in Bressi Ranch Village in the City of Carlsbad. I love that I can pick up some groceries and special teas, also made in Carlsbad when I visit. I might have never come upon LEAF, if I wasn't forced to park in the furtherest point of Trader Joe's parking lot on a busy day. Infact, there is nothing more soothing or satisfying to walk into a place with lovely music and smells, after a busy day of running errands. What makes this shop so unique is that it feels it is more about quality versus quantity. The owner/buyer really has a keen sense of what might satisfy the local consumer. The new age experience here is one of new living. Aromatherapy, check. Books, check. Cards, check. LEAF also carries Buddha Tea, also based in Carlsbad. They are known for their CBD selections. I drink the mint version, which is quite healing. They also have flavors such as chamomile, matcha and tumeric to name a few. When you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living, this is one place you might stop. A place for you, a place to find a gift or just a space that reminds you to slow down and enjoy the journey each day. #Carlsbad #LEAF #BuddhaTeas #NewLiving read more

Still opened during covid! It was my first time going there to check it out. I always like to walk in and check out metaphysical stores because they have gemstones and all kinds of esoteric and mysterious things. I don't practice anything related to the supernatural world but I'm always curious about the different disciplines and tools people use to get in touch with the other side. There are books and accessories on different subjects. But if you aren't into that, there are also cute decorations and inspirational books for your home. What surprised me the most was the location. One would expect this type of store can only be found in places like Encinitas or Sedona. But no, it's in the same plaza as Trader Joe's at Bressi Ranch, tucked in the back corner next to a surf board shop! I didn't get anything from this store. I ended up buying it online because the prices here are almost doubled, which to me is a bit too unreasonable. In addition, I didn't get any service from the person at the counter and was not asked if I needed any help so I might as well just browse and buy online! But I'm glad there's a store like this in Carlsbad area! I would go in and browse when I'm in the area again! read more

Beautiful, peaceful, and really cool shop. The owner is always so friendly. The shop is full of beautiful candles, jewelry, crystals, art, and everything else a spiritual person would be looking for! This is hands down one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL stores I have ever been in. They have such a unique selection of items many of which you can't find anywhere else. Most metaphysical/new age shops don't include many pagan/witch items but LEAF does a great job of bringing in a beautiful, curated selection. They have everything from athames, to bejeweled journals to pentagrams and cauldrons. They also have an AMAZING selection of jewelry. It's a perfect store just to walk around in and feel transported into a magical world. Also a great place to get a gift that you won't be able to find anywhere else! read more

This is my favorite store on the planet! I've been shopping here since they opened, and I always find the most beautiful items. In a time when the prices of everything have gone up astronomically, I appreciate that LEAF has made every effort to keep their prices more or less the same over the years, an especially major feat for a small business. You won't be disappointed if you come here. The staff is helpful and calming, and everywhere you look there's a new treasure. The owner has curated the entire store with an artist's eye, making it a true pleasure to experience. read more

This shop is awesome! Such a great vibe and I love the intention you can tell is behind it with the very handpicked items and cute set up. It's like a pretty museum almost, smells great too! This is a beautiful shop with very friendly energy! Upon entering, the atmosphere was very bohemian and calm. The decor was gorgeous! The owner put so much detail into every bit of this store, and it is just perfect to walk through. Live plants, crystals everywhere, lots of wood elements, lots of light and airy energy, but also very grounding and peaceful. It's just a beautiful place to shop for gifts for yourself or others. I would say that 2/3 of this shop is Bohemian decor and home products, and the other 1/3 is metaphysical supplies and decor. Crystals are mixed in everywhere. They had a fairly large selection of Tarot and Oracle decks and witchy books, and I really appreciated the fact that they had demo decks for every single deck available so that you can flip through cards and see if you connect with a deck before purchasing. That's a yes for me! read more

Love this shop. Always get lost here and find so many unique and wonderful things. Always so helpful and kind when I visit as well.

Awesome shop! Even bigger and better than their previous location in Bressi Ranch. Love the selection of spiritual products. I look forward to having more time to shop when I return! read more

This place has soo many crystals and spell books! Reasonably priced, and they even have moldavite! They may not always be stocked with the size bracelet you want (I wanted the smaller mm of bloodstone, and they didn't have it and I checked 2 weeks later and still didn't) but they do have a variety of single crystal bracelets (not multi-crystal ones for one particular goal). So many tumbles, and the girl at the register is so kind! Always answers my questions as I'm new to crystals :) read more

Wow, I never knew this place existed. Its tucked away in Bressi Ranch in a little corner of the Trader Joes parking lot. The name is what made us want to go see what it was about. I was surprised to find this kind of shop more inland because usually I have to drive down to the coast to find these places. The lady working (owner?) was so sweet, and down to earth. They have workshops for those just getting into this kind of lifestyle or wanting to be more educated about the gems and such. I may go to one this month where mediums come out and tell their story and share with the group. So interesting. I took pictures and am so happy to have found a place like this nearby. I will take my daughter back who is the one that got me interested in the first place and enjoy it. read more

This place is great! The staff is friendly and helpful plus they have nice gifts. They can be a little pricey but worth it. The selection is very unique. I'm taking off one star because I had questions the new employee couldn't answer, but other than that, it's totally worth visiting! read more

it's ridiculous of this place to sell half of the perfume of a tiny sample sized bottle. I went in one day and purchased one of these sample sized perfumes and did not realize that I grabbed a half empty product size I assumed the front of the display were the samples to smell. So of course I think by grabbing one behind the ones in front that I'll get an unused one, I accidentally ended up grabbing what I assumed to later have of thought to be a sample bottle. Tell me why I decide to return it the next day so, I could exchange it or get a refund and tell me why the cashier tells me I can exchange it but later as i'm about to exchange and purchase more things, she says she texted her boss to see if it's possible. RIDICULOUS, but what was even more ridiculous was that the the boss says that those items can't be returned. HOW? I never even used it and it was a spray bottle not a roll on. Furthermore, the cashier says that they tend to sell them like that, so why not warn customers ahead of time. Especially if they know that it can cause problems with satisfaction in the end. read more

First Impression: This place is really cool. The vibe inside here is really nice. Stand out employee: I have been lucky enough to be helped by employee Jessie a couple times that I have visited this store. She is an outstanding employee. She sets out to give every customer an experience. Her knowledge is deep and diverse, and she is just a true pleasure to talk to. She knew about everything, from crystal history to tarot cards... you name it. She was made to work in a store like this, I really can't say enough good things about her. The store has a very zen feeling to it with all kinds of products. Crystals, tarot cards, home decor, jewelry, purses, candles, intense... I could go on. This is a great place to stop if you are looking for something unique and special. The products are high quality and I have had a great experience every time. I strongly recommend this local small business. read more

This was my first time coming to the shop and I was very pleased. Incense was burning through out the store and smelled very nice. The vibe was right on point. The young lady that was working was very helpful and nice (sorry I couldn't remember your name). I was the one that was looking at the tumbled crystals and the crystal book jumped from the shelf and scared me (I didn't see that one coming), but you reassured me that things like that happened all the time.
