What a lovely unique store we stumbled upon. It's like a hidden Oasis in a strip mall. Filled with crystals, buddahs, plants, witchcraft, spiritual items and gifts. We used to have stores like this in the Midwest so what a nice surprise. They do psychic readings on Fridays and random days through the month. On a whim I went here with my husband today and I loved this store! The decor is fabulous and it is so peaceful coming in here. When you walk in it doesn't even feel like a retail space; it's just very cozy and welcoming. And there is really nice airflow in this store; it was super hot when we visited but the doors were wide open in the front and back. There are so many things to look at--tons of crystals/gems, candles, home decor, tarot cards, incense, etc. I like that it's not too New Age-y; there are some Wiccan items (including mini spell kits/altars), natural beauty products, and Eastern influenced pieces. My husband isn't really into "woo" and was a little intimidated coming in here (initially he wanted to follow me around, lol), but even he loved going in this store and started wandering off on his own. He found a lot of little items for our house, including a ceramic, a selenite mini bowl for my garden gnome, and some art prints. When we paid the girl was super nice! We weren't followed around in the store, or if we were, I was oblivious to it. Personally I've experienced way worse treatment at the now-closed Lady of the Lake store in North Park off University in San Diego. Psychic readings are available here, although it might be better to go here in person to ask or call because the schedule for the reader/readers is confusing on the website. I'm not sure how many psychics they have...? I didn't ask. They definitely have one veteran reader, but she's not always in according to their site. FYI, we came here on a Sunday and there was no reader on site (not that I would get one while my husband was with me). Psychic Fairs are monthly and listed on their socials. I haven't attended but hopefully they're popular! I *think* they also offer classes focused on psychic development, but again, I don't know how often... I actually met the owner of this store over a decade ago when he was working the front desk at the Lady of the Lake in Vista and even to this day I remember how much of a beautiful soul he was. This is definitely one of the finer spiritual stores of the area. It is quietly tucked away in the corner in Bressi Ranch Village in the City of Carlsbad. I love that I can pick up some groceries and special teas, also made in Carlsbad when I visit. I always like to walk in and check out metaphysical stores because they have gemstones and all kinds of esoteric and mysterious things. There are books and accessories on different subjects. But if you aren't into that, there are also cute decorations and inspirational books for your home. What surprised me the most was the location. One would expect this type of store can only be found in places like Encinitas or Sedona. But no, it's in the same plaza as Trader Joe's at Bressi Ranch, tucked in the back corner next to a surf board shop! I didn't get anything from this store. I ended up buying it online because the prices here are almost doubled, which to me is a bit too unreasonable. In addition, I didn't get any service from the person at the counter and was not asked if I needed any help so I might as well just browse and buy online! This is hands down one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL stores I have ever been in. They have such a unique selection of items many of which you can't find anywhere else. Most metaphysical/new age shops don't include many pagan/witch items but LEAF does a great job of bringing in a beautiful, curated selection. This place has soo many crystals and spell books! Reasonably priced, and they even have moldavite! They may not always be stocked with the size bracelet you want (I wanted the smaller mm of bloodstone, and they didn't have it and I checked 2 weeks later and still didn't) but they do have a variety of single crystal bracelets (not multi-crystal ones for one particular goal). This is a beautiful shop with very friendly energy! Upon entering, the atmosphere was very bohemian and calm. The decor was gorgeous! The owner put so much detail into every bit of this store, and it is just perfect to walk through. Live plants, crystals everywhere, lots of wood elements, lots of light and airy energy, but also very grounding and peaceful. It's just a beautiful place to shop for gifts for yourself or others. I would say that 2/3 of this shop is Bohemian decor and home products, and the other 1/3 is metaphysical supplies and decor. Crystals are mixed in everywhere. They had a fairly large selection of Tarot and Oracle decks and witchy books, and I really appreciated the fact that they had demo decks for every single deck available so that you can flip through cards and see if you connect with a deck before purchasing. Wow, I never knew this place existed. Its tucked away in Bressi Ranch in a little corner of the Trader Joes parking lot. The name is what made us want to go see what it was about. I was surprised to find this kind of shop more inland because usually I have to drive down to the coast to find these places. The lady working (owner?) was so sweet, and down to earth. They have workshops for those just getting into this kind of lifestyle or wanting to be more educated about the gems and such. I may go to one this month where mediums come out and tell their story and share with the group. So interesting. I took pictures and am so happy to have found a place like this nearby. I will take my daughter back who is the one that got me interested in the first place and enjoy it. read more

it's ridiculous of this place to sell half of the perfume of a tiny sample sized bottle. I went in one day and purchased one of these sample sized perfumes and did not realize that I grabbed a half empty product size I assumed the front of the display were the samples to smell. So of course I think by grabbing one behind the ones in front that I'll get an unused one, I accidentally ended up grabbing what I assumed to later have of thought to be a sample bottle. Tell me why I decide to return it the next day so, I could exchange it or get a refund and tell me why the cashier tells me I can exchange it but later as i'm about to exchange and purchase more things, she says she texted her boss to see if it's possible. RIDICULOUS, but what was even more ridiculous was that the the boss says that those items can't be returned. HOW? I never even used it and it was a spray bottle not a roll on. Furthermore, the cashier says that they tend to sell them like that, so why not warn customers ahead of time. Especially if they know that it can cause problems with satisfaction in the end. read more
