We live in different towns, and we had never met, but within minutes I felt totally at ease. He has a very easy, engaging manner, and laughs easily and warmly. As we got into the material I found his skills and reflections to be of a high calibre. I have experienced a lot of facilitators and counselors in the past decade, and Brian was right up there with the highest quality group. I appreciated his clarity, his wisdom and blending of the metaphysical with the physical worlds (his analogies were great). I would highly recommend a session with him. He was generous with his time and support, and has a lot to offer. And ... this Passion Test thing was powerful and revelatory.

This is a review fo the Fallen Star in UC San Diego's Stuart Collection…read more The Fallen Star is for sure a must-do for students at UC San Diego. It is a great experience being in the house and it is super fun. It is available for everyone to go and book a tour. Beware! The spots get taken up really quickly so be sure to book far in advance. You book 30 minute slots on Wednesdays or 15 minute on Thursdays depending on whether or not you are booking with a group or not(Wed for group, Thursday for Individual). We did not book with a group as the group signups are extremely full (Backed up for 2 months) so we just booked multiple individual tours on the same day. You are supposed to arrive around 5-10 minutes before your time starts so you can spend the whole time within the house. Although our group for the tour was luckily pretty small(Only 4), sometimes they can be a bit larger. Parking can be a bit difficult as its around a 5 minute walk away from the event but I think its worth it. Its also free! Overall, I would recommend it.

It was a unique experience coming to work each day and watching a construction crew building what appeared to be a Craftsman style house. I saw lots of them when I lived in North Park. When they finished construction a crane lifted the house into place near the top of the building. At the opening reception the artist Do Ho Suh appeared to talk about his latest creation. I saw him afterwards and had my picture taken with him. Fallen Star is one of my favorite works in the Stuart Collection. Looks very cool from the ground. Inside it's very disorienting as the floor isn't level and the angles are not what you are used to. This is one of the most unique and interesting artworks I've ever seen. Cool documentary about Fallen Star on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbVAv2AENfI I never saw Do Ho Suh again but he is still doing great work and his last exhibition was in New York in 2022. https://newyorkarttours.com/blog/art,artist,contemporary,critic,exhibition,gallery,newyork,photography,sculpture,tour,visualart/inverted-monument/

Utterly ego-ridden non-sensical "licensed psychic" giving out incredibly unsafe spiritual advice…read more The fact alone that she calls herself "reverend", which is a word reserved entirely for the Christian and abrahamic religions, tells you all you really should need to know. There is NO orthodox pagan religion except Wicca, and they have Priests and Priestesses. This lady has ZERO idea of what she is talking about and is serving only her own ego. I would advise ANYONE seeking genuine spiritual advise, to first seek out their own spirit and their own ancestors before EVER going to this imposter. She will latch onto you, and convince you that you need her services. You do not. She is not a real psychic in the SLIGHTEST.

Looking for a crash course in fear-based spirituality and premium candle sales? Psychic…read moreInterventions is your spot! I first wandered in on July 8th, lured by the $10 sign out front. Turns out, $10 buys you two questions and a fast track to the "real" reading for $80. During the palm reading, Christine kindly informed me that a dark shadow (a.k.a. a hex) was after me and my family. Luckily, for only $400 in "materials from the Holy Land," she could help. Feeling shaken, I paid $480 via Zelle. I came back on July 11th for the big reveal. Surprise! The problem had escalated. Now there were two hexes--one on my family and one on my mother's bloodline. The solution? 17 special candles at $300 each plus a three‑psychic ceremony for the bargain price of $5,100. When I hesitated, she suggested a bank loan and casually mentioned that if I didn't act fast, I could face serious harm. Nothing like a little "buy now or else" energy in your spiritual journey. When I realized I couldn't (and wouldn't) spend thousands on luxury candles that had been "put under my name," I asked for my $500 back. No luck--apparently, these candles are like designer handbags. Once they're spiritually monogrammed, they can't be returned. If you enjoy high‑pressure sales, magical Zelle transactions, and paying rent‑sized fees for wax and fear, this is the place for you.

Update! Been nearly a year of practice and let me tell you...things sure have changed!…read more This is experience is a must for anyone with a desire for enlightenment and alignment. I have been attending for a year now and this practice has allowed me to align my chakras and tap into a sacred energy that brings forth some of my deepest desires. I cannot say all however, I can say all that serve me. (We all have desires that do not serve us sometimes right?) I recommend this experience highly to those seekers out there. I encourage anyone new to this to attend at least 3 times in close succession. Think of it as a spiritual and energetic chiropractic visit. You would never visit the chiropractor just once right? Usually a few times close together to allow your body to become accustomed to it's new alignment. This is the exact same thing except it is for your sacred energy...you know the one we all have and may need a gentle reminder of that remarkable power. Highly recommended!
