Soooo...I don't really get psychic readings these days, but I went on a whim a few months ago because there was an issue I was obsessing over for the last year or two. Basically I was in a situation that emotionally screwed me over and left me very bitter. Logically, I knew I couldn't live like this and I tried many ways to get over it on my own. I finally went to see Katie and she was not only empathetic and understanding but also provided perspective. And thanks to her I'm slowly getting over that situation I had way back when. If you are looking for a truly gifted energy healer and intuitive, you must see Billy at Kindred Journeys! I began working with him when I enrolled in the Intuitive Development course (I had been seeing Jenni for readings at the time, who is also WONDERFUL!). I loved his teaching style, so when I learned he was the instructor for an energy healing course, I decided to enroll in that. And I am so glad I did! I wanted to give this place 5 stars but after reading other reviews...quality seems to be an issue- necklaces and mood rings and some cultural items are very cheaply made and quite expensive. Crystals are very affordable and I love the energy (I have yet to have a reading or do any spiritual work with anyone) I have felt ripped off after spending money or particular things but if you have time to sort through things you will find some special treasures! I do not like giving less than 5 stars to small businesses so quality is a concern. read more

I love this store. I have to say it is now my favorite spiritual place to visit, always calm and relaxing and something about it being so close to the beach is soothing. I actually first came here cuz I wanted to check it out. I'm a huge person who loves to buy crystals and gems and cool fend shui for my house or work space. But I've always secretly wanted to get a reading done...and it wasn't until I first absolutely HAD to have one to a burning question many months ago that the reader at the time, Sharon, left me breathless and while at first semi-skeptical, absolutely speachless! She gave me the exact name of a person who I didn't know and wouldn't have ever known about! (Many thanks to her by the way!!). I've been back so many more times since then. Actually, just for the readings! It's $20 for 15 minutes and it's become such a thing that I told everyone since my first time and I can't count the amount of friends/coworkers who have joined and gone and left feeling better and impressed. The other two reader I saw was one a friend had gone to- one whose so good, she's always booked! Haha -- Monique! She's such a sweetheart and absolutely the real deal. She has her own separate large room and she just started spewing out everything she saw for me as it came! And she was able to answer my questions. I left leaving the store feeling clearer and better about my life direction and honestly, I feel like that is how a reading should be. She gave me two options and let me know what would potentially happen in both. I have yet to be back- I waited a good week/week and a half for her and wasn't dissappointed! The last person I just recently saw was Just- who was also wonderful. He was so sweet and knowledgeable and very open with what I wanted to talk about and even something that he absolutely needed to share. I liked the way he interpreted the cards and seemed very experienced with what he was saying and doing! The shop selection was awesome. Customer service was fine from everyone except the girl working the register. The girl was flustered that I asked the price of the crystals. She told me my entire purchase total and was irritated that I asked the price of two of the individual crystals. She grabbed them off the counter to re-weigh them, and when she came back she set them down, looked at me and told me how many ounces each one was instead of the price. Idk what kind of POS system they use, but I figured she would have input the price of each one when she got the total... ? God forbid someone wants to know the price of the item they're buying... There was a display item in the cabinet I wanted to know the price of. I asked very kindly, and she responded quickly and in an irritated tone that couldn't tell me right then and she would let me know once she was done bagging my things. Lol I told her it was fine and to take her time I was in no rush. I came to buy crystals. You're surrounded by crystals all day. If you don't like your job you should at least pretend and offer decent customer service. I would like to go back and spend a lot of money. I used to love shopping here, and I even used to recommend this place to others. But after what I saw last time I went to this store, I will no longer be shopping here. This store will literally buy cheap items from other stores and market the item at a much higher price. For example the evil eye car charm that Five Below sells, well it was being sold at kindred journeys for $9. Mood rings that you can easily buy online for less than $3 are being sold here for $15. I tried doing a phone appointment with them but I couldn't hear anything at all and the reader could not hear me either. I stopped and asked for a refund less than 5 minutes in but I never got the refund and it's been almost 2 weeks. I've called multiple times and they keep saying it went through on their end and there's nothing they can do. They told me contact squarespace, since my bank hasn't seen anything on their end, but I can't do without an account so I just feel like that should be their responsibility since it's their service.
