Then It says gentle and it was not gentle..I said soft and she did more medium. I did enjoy the reiki healing..maybe I will come back for that. I had sent a message requesting to be seen earlier if anything was available and they got me in 45 minutes earlier than I booked online. I've tried the 60, 90 and a combination of cupping + reiki and came out feeling like a new person! I've seen a few therapists here, but Amy is my favorite! She had strong hands and gets into all of my knots. The pressure she applies is consistent from beginning to end (even for a 90 minute massage).. I came in recently because I was suffering from migraines + the tightness in my shoulder got worse over recent days. After seeing Amy, my shoulder was loose along with other areas in my body that were tight. She gave me the reset I needed! She incorporated Thai-style techniques and stretches, and I feel like I left a few inches taller. I really cannot say enough great things about this place. My mother and I went in for our second time yesterday, and we both left our massages feeling so relaxed, rejuvenated, and healed. My massage therapist, Amy, went above and beyond to make my experience as wonderful as it could have been. As part of normal protocol, before starting the massage, she opened up a conversation about my preferences and areas of concern. Once we went over those things, we started with the massage as normal. I recognized right away that she is a master at what she does; she knew what areas of my body held tension, and she could sense that I needed some deep breathing to fully relax. The part that blew me away the most was when Amy started deep breathing, in through the nose out through the mouth, so that I could have an easier time doing it myself. She would repeat this throughout the massage when she felt as though I needed to deep breathe, and I thought this gesture was unbelievably helpful and kind. I know I tend to be tense, so it meant so much to me that Amy took the time and energy to help me fully relax and feel comfortable. I've never had a massage therapist do that type of work with me, and it truly meant the world to me. The massage was incredible, and even as I'm writing this the day after I still feel its positive effects. Another thing to note, they just opened up a tea shop next door! The owner, Nok, is so incredibly kind as well. The decor both inside and outside is stunning, and the overall atmosphere was so calming. It was an excellent spot to enjoy some tea after the massage. Mantra Karuna was well recommended to me by a family member. In light of my wife's birthday, I booked us for a couple's massage online. You are given the choice to pay online or pay there. They had a nice outside patio waiting area. We didn't have to wait, and were shown immediately to our room. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel the tranquility in the room. They have music playing and dimmed lighting. Now the massage itself was amazing. It was a full on full body massage. We were long overdue to get one. I did feel pain here and there, but I knew it was in well needed areas. The 60 minute massage went by so fast. I wish I would've booked 90. Just moved to the area and followed the amazing reviews here. Went in for a massage at 12pm today and my masseuse was coughing heavily/sounded like she had a bad respiratory illness. One cough attack was so bad she had to leave the room and cough in the hallway. 20 minutes in I had to awkwardly ask her to stop and let me leave. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe due to her being visibly ill. Very unprofessional to let someone who is sick work on a client who came for healing. I had Mantra Karuna bookmarked for quite some time but didn't manage to make it here until this evening. I was getting lightheaded from my neck & upper back being tight. I didn't get the chance to stretch when I woke up and I progressively got worse throughout the day that I needed a massage before the end of the day. I called in the afternoon on a Saturday and got the answering machine directing me to schedule an appointment online. I didn't want to do that since I figured they wouldn't have an opening the same day and started looking elsewhere, when I immediately got a text message apologizing for missing me call and that they had an opening this evening (yah!!) I accepted! I arrived and the location is the unit on the far right on the bottom of the building (Suite M). (I didn't see any signage outside.) I was greeted by Tanya when I arrived and was asked if I wanted to use the restroom beforehand. I was taken to my room and instructed where to place my items and position myself on the table. Tanya asked me where my concerns were and how hard I would like the pressure. She did a fabulous job that my dizziness went away. She didn't just concentrate on on area but other areas that could have caused the tightness I had. It was a mixture of Thai stretching and deep tissue. She catered the massage to where I needed it. I felt like I had a complete massage! I was even offered water or tea before leaving which was lovely to have some tea afterwards.
