I had been coming here many years without issue. I even wrote a great review for Michelle last year. I'm writing this to help someone avoid major back injury. Last Friday I received a "massage" here. The woman was very rough despite me asking her to be gentle. She maneuvered my legs and neck in ways that were unsafe, and pulled my neck and legs quickly, as if she was a bad chiropractor-unfortunately she is not- and she damaged me badly. I'm unable to look down without pain my mid back. I went to doctor today. It's now been a week and still in pain. It saddens me, because I've gotten amazing massages here. The lack of pre-screening and language barrier is not good for people with back pain, too risky. Be careful here. read more

I come out here to Carlsbad to visit my 90 yr old precious mother every month for a week or two. I get a massage once a month at home. Really relaxing massage and it's adjustable to your needs. You can get a combo of massage therapies to ease any injuries or discomfort. If you pay cash you get $ off your massage. Very clean too. You keep you clothes on just remove your shoes and put your feet into a bucket of herbs with warm water. I have several ailments and Patrick introduced himself and made many adjustments for me with a smile! The front desk was nice too. Pay first and tip at the end. Great therapists with a clean and serene environment. I usually get the 60 or 90 minute massage, deep tissue. They always get my pain or trouble spots and are attentive to the pressure. Very convenient location and very quick with appointments or response times, I can usually get a quick appointment within 15 -45 minutes. Great customer service. read more

I'm updating my review here today, although I've been several times. I have enjoyed this place and all my massages, but so glad Megan is here. I thought she had left, so was a bit disappointed, because she is an awesome massage therapist. However, I booked an appointment today with "any female staff", and I was very happy to see that it was Megan again! I've been feeling super tensed and in pain, but the massage was so good! Five star massage. Three star service. Very hard to find someone who speaks and understands English. I came here on accident, thought I booked it through a third-party, but it was not the right place (my mistake). Massage was amazing and definitely want to come back and bring my partner, my daughter, and best friend as they have a room with two beds. It was unfortunate that the front of the house didn't speak any English, and didn't understand what I was saying about having booked through the third party to let me know it was the wrong place. At the end I went to pay my tip and was not expecting to pay over $100 (and frankly didn't have the money for it). Have been here a number of times. Usually ok but the last time they were very rude. Came for a 30 min foot massage last weekend and the man at the front asked me to wait for 20 min. After waiting they took me back and a nice lady started the massage. There was some commotion at the front, she stopped to go up front and then the lady came back and said "you need to wait another 20 minutes" and there was more commotion. I belong to massage envy and have so for years, i used to live downtown San Diego and loved my therapist, since moving up to Carlsbad I've yet to find someone who i really like, i needed a massage and all the Massage Envy had no openings, so i walked to this one, they were able to accommodate two people for full body massages, i had VK who was amazing, only thing I'd want different is more massage on front side of body as well. Main focus seemed to be when i was laying face down. Which was amazing! 1 hour massage plus hot stone treatment for $65, may have to cancel my membership to massage envy and start coming here! Yes! Go here!! I have had so many foot massages in the past but none have ever been like this! This by far is the best foot massage I've ever had. I've had probably over 200 foot massages. Don't hesitate don't even think about it just go! The rooms are clean the bathroom is clean. The prices are clearly posted on the wall. On the website I saw that they only had 60 minutes, but they have 30 mi, 60 minutes and longer. This was incredible!!!! read more

I was in desperate need of a massage due to a pulled neck muscle and they got me in within an hour and only charged me $65 for a 1 hour massage. Jennifer did everything from my head to my toes and even did a hot rock massage at one point. Not on did it feel great, it was super cheap. read more

Best massage I have ever had! I was a little hesitant because when we walked in, they quickly rushed us into a room without much talking or any paperwork which was uncommon but they do not mess around here and we actually ended up loving that because you skip all the nonsense and get right into it... the massage therapist came into the room and she immediately started going 100 mph with different techniques. She used the right amount of pressure and the head massage was AMAZING.
