He took the time to listen to my concerns and ensured that everything was handled promptly but without the feeling of the "I'm trying to sell you something" . What really stood out was the genuine care and attention he provided. In a world full of choices where everybody can do the same thing, service can feel rushed or impersonal, Duncan's approach felt authentic. That my friends is something that is hard to teach. A smile can be shown but you can feel something else. He spoke to me about my vehicle as if it were his own, and that level of commitment reassured me. I left feeling confident in the quality of the work done. If you're in need of service, I highly recommend reaching out to Duncan and his team--they truly make a difference! I've been in the auto industry for over 20 years and truly appreciate when I feel I'm taking care of. Management would be wise and I'm sure they are, to recognize when you have a great asset to the team. Seems like they do a good job on the hiring front. Till next time ladies and gentleman!

My recent experience with Toyota of Cedar Park was extremely disappointing and confirms many of the…read moreconcerns people have about dealership practices. I will not be doing business with this dealership again and strongly caution others to be very careful if they choose to do so. My wife and I came in to test drive a car and, after the test drive, submitted a credit application--explicitly authorizing a credit pull--with the clear intent to purchase the vehicle. We were told everything was in order and scheduled an appointment the following morning for my wife to move forward with financing and paperwork. At no point were we informed that the vehicle was still at risk of being sold. While my wife was on her way to completing the financing process, she received a call informing her that the vehicle had been shown to another couple and sold. This occurred despite our salesperson clearly communicating to management that this deal was essentially set. That information was dismissed, and management allowed another salesperson to show and sell the vehicle without extending us even the courtesy of a phone call to give us the opportunity to finalize the purchase--which we absolutely would have done. I work with dealerships regularly in my profession, and while you hear stories like this, you hope they are exaggerated or rare. Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise. When I raised the issue with management, the response felt scripted, dismissive, and entirely policy-driven, with no ownership or genuine concern for how poorly this was handled. It became very clear that the priority was selling the vehicle as quickly as possible, regardless of fairness, professionalism, or existing commitments. The message sent was simple: once a faster or more convenient sale appears, an active and committed customer is expendable. That reflects a lack of integrity in both process and leadership. I previously had a positive experience purchasing from Toyota of Cedar Park, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This was not a failure of the salesperson I worked with--it was a management decision, and it speaks volumes about how business is conducted there. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. If you choose to do business here, proceed with caution and do not assume that verbal assurances, credit applications, or scheduled appointments mean anything unless a deal is fully executed. This dealership and its management team should be ashamed of themselves!

I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. Thank you, Isaac, Angela, and Stephanie!

Just wanted to say that Sean Knox is fantastic! I met him initially in June when I stopped by with my daughter for her service appointment. He very simply greeted me and held the door open for me, which in turn had me inquire about a potential future Subaru purchase. He made such a positive impression that when I finally decided to make my purchase in December I sought him out specifically. He was/is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. He is down to earth and not pushy which is a very welcome surprise as "most" sales people at various dealerships are off-putting, thus losing out on my business. Sean goes the extra mile and makes you feel special and part of the Subaru family. As a result I referred a friend to him, who also made a purchase, and I will continue to refer him and your dealership. You are lucky to have such a dedicated and hard working individual on your team. Thanks Sean!

Would give 0 stars if possible. We purchased a 2019 Subaru…read moreOutback 3.6L brand new from Subaru Austin and owned it for 6 years, putting approximately 120,000 miles on the vehicle. We bought this vehicle because of everything Subaru stands for: "94% of them are still on the road after 10 years", they're durable and long lasting, we're outdoorsy, gay, have dogs, all of the stereotypes check check check. We loved our service guy, but hindsight, we were screwed by this dealership: Every service--oil changes, filters, transmission services, inspections, and all recommended maintenance--was performed exclusively at Subaru Austin. Over those years, we spent well over $20,000 on service and repairs. For tens of thousands of miles (well before 60K), I repeatedly documented and reported transmission-related symptoms: Jerking and hesitation Poor acceleration and lack of power RPMs surging unpredictably Difficulty driving uphill Eventually, consistent burning smells Each time, we were told it could be the transmission but they were unable to diagnose any issue. At approximately 90,000 miles, Subaru of America agreed to cover 50% of major engine repairs (CVT front pump chain and CS head gasket), which required removing the engine and still cost us over $6,000 out of pocket. Less than 30,000 miles later, we were told the CVT had completely failed and needed to be replaced for $10,000, or we could purchase a used transmission with 66K miles for $2,800, or Subaru Austin would offer $12,000 for the vehicle. This came immediately after another disastrous service visit where: We spent $1,400 diagnosing the wrong AC issue Returned one week later for the actual issue (cracked radiator fan) after being given the car back The vehicle was returned to us damaged (front passenger door) We provided photo and video evidence proving the damage occurred during service. Subaru Austin initially agreed to repair the door properly, acknowledging it would require full repainting and blending, costing several thousand dollars. Instead, they later reversed course and offered a $500 check, stating management had "nixed" the repair. We were also told that if we sold the vehicle back to them, we would no longer be eligible for that $500. Here is where things crossed a line. We took the vehicle to CarMax, who offered $12,000, matching Subaru Austin's offer. CarMax did not detect the transmission failure. When we attempted to negotiate with Subaru Austin using this offer, we were asked whether CarMax knew about the transmission issue. We answered honestly: no. Subaru Austin then told us they would not increase their offer--but that if we sold the vehicle to CarMax with the bad transmission, they would still give us the $500 "courtesy" check. In other words, we were encouraged to offload a vehicle with a known major defect to another dealer so Subaru Austin wouldn't have to deal with it. Talk about deceptive trade practices and fraud!!! We refused and sold the car back to Subaru Austin. Three days later, the vehicle was listed on Subaru Austin's website for over $18,000, advertised as: One-owner Local trade All services completed at Subaru Austin There was no mention of transmission issues. Given the timeline, I highly doubt a $10,000 transmission replacement occurred before relisting. A few weeks later, the listing disappeared. Shoutout to whoever bought the green/java 2019 outback 3.6L with last 4 VIN#3377... If you are considering buying or servicing a vehicle here, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing, seeking independent diagnostics, and understanding that loyalty, documentation, and following all recommendations do not guarantee ethical treatment. This experience was financially devastating, emotionally draining, and completely avoidable.

The issue lies with the complete lack of communication and things they said they'd do and did not. We were supposed to pick up the car on Tuesday when they said it would be ready. They communicated through text and on paper that the issue with TPMS light would be fixed, and the ac would be fixed as well as regular maintenance, as well as a detail of the car, oil change ect would be done by Tuesday. They did not communicate with us that it would in fact not be read, we reached out to them they said nope tomorrow, never heard back the next day so we reached out they said nope tomorrow for sure. All times we had to be the ones to call and text which I understand they are busy people but we just spent money and we expect things to be ready when they said they'll be or at least be communicated with and not left in the dark. Before we picked up the car we also tried to reach out and get a copy of the financial documents because we wanted to arrange our schedules and get everything squared away with payments, they said they'd contact the finance department about sending us the info, they never did. When we reached out the day a few hours into the day to see if they were able to get ahold of the department on sending us the information they told us the person in charge of our documents left early for the day. Again left in the dark about that. When we showed for the car we were able to see the documents but when asked if we could get a copy of everything they said they had already made copies and just handed us some flash drive we have no way of looking at. When we finally got the car the issue with the TPMS light was not fixed they said they got the wrong part so we can come back....To call them or text them Saturday morning to see if the part had arrived, so we did they said nope try again Monday. So we tried again Monday (Today) Person in charge of letting us know if the part had arrived or not basically said I'm actually out until NEXT Saturday so try again then..... or just show up and ask the maintenance guy in charge. We did not want to make the drive for no reason if the part hadn't arrived or he wasn't there. So we called, many times, were transferred many times. No one ever answered, weird because there's always at least 10 people just chatting in the front. Showed up and the guy there (different sales person) has no idea any of this was happening ,our sales person never let anyone know anything before dipping for a week. The AC was also never fixed, Sunday afternoon when we were running errands air would blow but it wouldn't get cold. We were sitting there sweating. The AC repair was written into their "WE OWE YOU" form stating our AC would be good and fixed at pick up. It's not fixed. Probably a leak or something from a line. So desperate for them to fix the issue we want to have our mechanic fix it and just bill Honda because when we Brought that up to them and they're saying they don't have anything on file about our AC. This whole dealership is unprofessional and sold us a car that needed repairs. We did not agree to buy "AS-IS" we were told those issues would be fixed and I've got texts that prove it. We will both be submitting complaint about everything so far from this dealership to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles as well as the Better Business Bureau.
