I visited Lady Quack's cakery this morning after a walk around the lake in Mueller. I had a regular coffee with pumpkin bread. The store is bright and inviting, with many pastry options for vegans. There is a reasonably large outdoor seating area to bring your kids and pets to. I found the coffee to be average but the pumpkin bread was quite moist. The chocolate twist was nice and buttery.

Lady Quack's Cakery is found within the Mueller area! It has a good location and the general ambiance is clean and bright with natural lighting. There's somewhat limited seating, but you can also take things to-go and sit outside by the lake since it's so close. Service was pretty fast. When we went, there were also coloring pages and board games/card games (my friend and I played a few rounds of Taboo) which were a nice touch. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin (4/5), Chocolate Croissant (3.5/5) - The muffin was nice and dense, cream cheese in the center paired well with the overall pumpkin flavor - Chocolate croissant was appropriately flaky, but we felt like it didn't have enough chocolate. It tasted standard, not anything too special. Overall I'm glad I got to try out Lady Quack's Cakery, but probably won't be back anytime soon since there are so many other bakeries in Austin!

Cute bakery in the mueller area almost tucked away. I came here while in the area for a sweet treat and while I do wish they had more options when I went everything I got I really loved. This bakery has a homemade feel to it that I like. Everything tastes fresh and delicious! I got an assortment of cupcakes with the carrot cake cupcake being my favorite. I also got an iced chai latte which I really enjoyed too. Definitely check this place out!

I stopped by here on a Wednesday afternoon while being in the area. They have a terrific selection of pastries and delicious looking cakes and cookies. The interior is also adorable and well decorated, and the barista was super friendly and accommodating. I had a hard time deciding on a pastry since they all looked so good! I ended up choosing a vegan chocolate peppermint muffin which I believe is seasonal. It had a nice crunch to the top and was soft on the inside. Not too sweet too--perfect flavor. The vanilla iced latte I got was creamy and a good consistency. It also was well balanced. I definitely felt a burst of energy after drinking it midday, so the caffeine shot was much needed. I will stop by again if I am in the area!

Stopped here after lunch to get something sweet. Got the s'more cup. It's very similar to a Reese cup but with marshmallow filling and graham cracker bottom covered in chocolate. It was great and very sweet. I only had half and saved the other half for another day. Service was friendly and nice. The bakery has a few tables for dine-in and to enjoy your drink and chat with a friend. Tom of display cases to show off all their amazing pastries. They also have some merch on the side to sell as well. The bakery location is a bit away from all the other places, but it keeps it quiet if you enjoy time away from the rush of people.

If you plan on coming here, one thing you need to know, is that you'll be feeding the sidewalk kiosk for the time you spend parking in the street. This place seems to better serve the thousands of apartment dwellers in the immediate area due to its location. Once inside, you can choose one of six small tables to sit at or there's far more seating outdoors. They have some games and books to occupy your time by the door. I suggest you get here in the morning, because by the early afternoon it's slim pickins inside the cases. To be honest, many of the cupcakes seem to be pretty small in size and the peanut butter cookie we got for $3 was something I would never get again. Whatever you decide on, that tip screen will be waiting for you at the end. Not a bakery I'd add to my "go to" list unless I lived next door. ***

Overall: Lady Quack's is awesome. They're always busy, deservingly so, because they are located perfectly in the Mueller neighborhood and have such a wide variety of offerings. The cafe is a little on the smaller side, however they give options for seating outside, hightop, and at tables. Their staff is always so friendly and make me feel good about my morning visits. What I Get: - Hot caramel chai latte w/ oat milk: (*pro tip add oat milk to your chai instead of almond if you want the chair flavor to be stronger.) Lady Quack's has my FAVORITE chai tea latte. It's strong, with the perfect balance of sweeteness and always hot. I love it! - Cream cheese danish: 10/10 honestly one of my favorite danishes. It's huge, so it always fills me up. I love the light sugar topping they add and it goes great with the cream cheese middle.

Such a great spot in Mueller! I love to come to Mueller and go on walks, and I will sometimes stop here for a quick cup of coffee or a small bite to eat. The other night, my partner and I decided we were in the mood for a sweet treat, and oh my goodness, this is my new go-to for carrot cake!! It was surprisingly easy to find street parking when we went, and we were able to quickly order our slices of cake. I was pleasantly surprised with how many options there were, despite it being later in the day! Service was attentive and quick. There was only one person there working the front, and they answered all of our questions and served us quickly. Very friendly! I will absolutely be back! See attached for photos of the space. Sadly, I ate my carrot cake so quickly I couldn't take a pic of it!

Went here for a coffee and breakfast while in Austin. Recommended to me due to multiple vegan options. They did have quite a few but would have been nice to see some vegan breads. Didn't want a cupcake for breakfast despite what the pillow said lol. Sat here for a bit and charged my phone. Nice ambience and service was stellar

If you're in the Lake Mueller/Thinkery area, Quack's Bakery is a great spot for a quick coffee and pastry before an early morning walk. I grabbed a drip coffee and a pastry, both delicious! Street parking is easy if you're there early on a Saturday. The line can get long and slow, especially with families in tow, so bring some patience. Definitely a family-friendly spot with a relaxed vibe--perfect for a morning treat!

DRY and BLAND cookies that were made "today". They were Instagram perfect but the taste was less good as a cookie from Walmart.

I was craving Ube and might have gone a bit overboard on ordering dessert because they had so many Ube options. The building is colorful and decorated in bright pink with fun artwork and decor for an uplifting vibe. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly fast and efficient. I was able to place my order and pay with Apple Pay. I ordered the Taiyaki Sundae with black sesame and ube swirl soft serve served in a fish shaped mochi Belgian style waffle with Oreo dust on top. You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.

I believe this may be a smaller Uncle Tetsu and might not have every item but they have most things. They had samples available and for my first visit, I was able to get a good impression of select items! I had the opportunity to sample a piece of their cheesecake biscotti and matcha cheesecake. I asked for a recommendation as a first time and was told I have to try the original to start. Service seemed friendly but felt a little rushed for me to hurry up. Cheesecake Biscotti - from my small slice, I was impressed. It's an airy cookie that's baked to a crispy finish. The exterior is crispy but the inside is fluffy, it's a fun texture that simply feels remarkable. Plus the overall cheesecake flavor is a delightful sweetness. Matcha Cheesecake - I was impressed with the softness. The small sample was so light yet ready to fall from the toothpick at any moment. It was just so delicate. Matcha was present though it's hard to say how strong from a quick sample so I'll reserve on that. Original Cheesecake - now for the real experience, it's no exaggeration to say that this quite literally melts in your mouth. It's almost like the cake simply dissolves, leaving a cheesecake flavor behind. Super fluffy, light, and airy, the cheesecake is delicate and when you eat it, your taste buds light up as if a spotlight is emphasizing the presentation. Fantastic end to any meal as well, especially because it's not heavy at all.
