The woman at the front desk is a nightmare. She obviously hates her job and resents patients for coming in. I counted at least 3 times where she told people in the most condescending fashion, "I don't know, I'm the only one here." Like, don't ask me anything because it's just me. Well, that's your job! There was a sweet young man that clearly had a learning disability who went to the wrong clinic. I listening to the awful rotund front desk associate treat him so badly. He was just looking for help, and he was obviously struggling with where he was, and she made it so much worse. I almost called her out for her terrible she was treating him. When she called me up (no greeting, of course), she told me after my insurance, I owed nearly $500! I knew that didn't sound right, so I went to a different Lapcorp a few miles away. I ordered a simple blood type test, which Labcorp offers on-line demand (no doctor order required) and was given a QR code to check in. When the receptionist called me to her window, she asked what I was there for & I told her. She argued with me as I explained what HER business offered. So, I went back to my phone and it took me to a whole different website called "Walkin-Lab". Set up a whole new account. Ordered the test after crashing multiple times, I just left. Staff nice, but I wouldn't go unless you have an appt. Walk-ins are welcomed to wait over an hour. I watched many people come in after me and get seen before bc I was a walk-in and they weren't. I asked how much longer at about 45 minutes bc my son had an appt. and was told one person in front, but then three were called before I finally got back. I ended up having to reschedule my son's dr appt. bc I had to wait about an hour and 10 minutes. read more

Be careful visiting your place. The technicians doesn't have patience while drawing the blood. I had my hand injured and had to go to ER and X-rays done for the injury caused by the blood work. The location didn't provide any information on any remedy/cure despite contacting over phone and in person. Avoid this place. read more

My how a year flys by! I found myself needing to get yearly labs drawn. I travel for work so having fasting labs drawn at home isn't really an option for me. I had a prescription from my physician 150 miles away. I did make an appointment online but I showed up an hour early mainly because I wasn't sure where they were located ( I'm not from here). It was admittedly difficult to find but there are a couple small signs directing you. They are located in the VA clinic kind of diagonally across the street from Medical Center Plano. If facing the building, go to the entrance in the left, go through the automatic doors, they are in the first suite on the right. I used the kiosk to check in. I feel like the lab tech would have helped if I needed it but it was really self explanatory. I did need my drivers license but it was really simple and even offered an earlier appointment since I was so early. I was greeted quickly and only had a short wait. The phlebotomists/tech was very cordial and efficient. She multitasked well and every encounter I witnessed was the same. My old, coffee stained prescription was accepted without any issues! Being a nurse myself, I often am overly critical of places like this and admittedly do not make the best patient. So when I say I couldn't find anything wrong with this place or the phlebotomists, it means something. The blood draw was done perfectly, I never felt a thing. She used proper technique and filled the appropriate tubes and did it correctly. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about this experience. The only negative would be how difficult it was to find but I suspect this is a known issue judging by the signs. You just have to know to look for them. The address isn't seen from the main road so it can be very difficult to find. read more

Shoutout to the awesome local community heroes here at LabCorp! It is just a messy world with COVID-19 and they are dedicated to the community and coming to work! Helping us all stay healthy, get answers, and continue to work supporting their own families. I am thankful for the wonderful service that the staff provided. It really is more hectic in the waiting room and the kiosk make things easier for processing everyone. The seating is available and spaced out as best possible, "wait anywhere you want", the hallway, outside, or your car... they can call you on your cellphone when your turn comes up. I know it's better if you make an appointment. Please do yourself a favor and bring in your lab slip or verify it's faxed in before you arrive. The needle stick and lab collection was professional and easy peasy. Just wear a mask, use the hand sanitizer and wipes LabCorp offers in the waiting room area. Be calm and safe. They are doing their best to help us all :) read more

Labcorp websites indicates this lab was open. I had even made an appointment online at the end of May for mid June. Appointment was confirmed and all. I checked in online as instructed and waited in my car for them to text me when they were ready. That never happened. It turns out that they change hours to Saturday only. No week days and never contact those with appointment the change. I was not the only one this happened to. My online check in was even confirmed even though they were closed. They do not even deserve the one start. read more

Always understaffed with maximum 1-2 techs, and the opener showed up five minutes late- with 4-5 of us waiting outside the door. Not very professional. I feel bad for her though since clearly her employer won't hire more help in opening when clearly most people will try to come early to get blood drawn before work. This lab is one of the few that opens before 8:30am, but doesn't matter since you are stuck waiting for 45-60 minutes. Scheduling an online appt makes it a little faster but not much. On my latest visit to LabCorp was full of disappointment and feeling over hitting a wall. I have registered myself and my wife on one account and she went as a dependent on my account so when I try to check in on the time scheduled I was told that she is not on schedule because she's got to be removed from my account as a dependent and registered as independent. We tried to do it right there at the iPad stand in the lobby and realize it's a Catch-22 you cannot register person if it's a registered as dependent on another account but at the same time you cannot remove person from another account on online application. You need to know they do not verify your insurance. I am stuck with an outrageous bill bc of this. Had to get another blood test today and was denied service due to this outrageous bill. I always pay my bills, however, I'm not paying full price and the discount they offer is pathetic. I would settle up today but this is taking advantage of people and it's their fault since they won't verify insurance. Ran across the street to another big name lab company. This labcorp location sucks on so many levels it's hard to know where to start. Labcorp - if you are reading this you really need to do something about this location. Today I showed up for 2 appointments I made online - 1 for me and 1 for my son. When we got there we were greeted with a note taped to the door that this location was closing on Saturdays in December. Really? You let me make 2 appts. Online for Saturday and the office is closed on that Saturday. No one could call and let me know? On other past locations I enjoyed interacting with snottiest front desk person who I've witnessed actually get into verbal fights with several other customers. Not to mention the other times I've been there when they can't find my paperwork, or you wait for 2 hours for a routine blood test while staff is just chit chatting with each other nonstop. I just filed a complaint against labcorp with the state. I had some lab work done by them through my doctor's office NINE MONTHS ago. A month after service, I received a bill from them which seemed high. I called them. They told me to call their ancillary services. I exchanged calls with those two organizations and my insurance company. The round robin of calls went on for weeks as I tried to straighten everything out. I was told to wait for an "adjusted" bill. Instead, today, I received a notice from a COLLECTION AGENCY. I was shocked. After we all agreed on the changes bill amount! So not only did they lie to me, give me the runaround, and do nothing that they promised, they're now trying to torch my credit rating. So I filed a complaint with the state and I am leaving my doctor of ten years for one who does NOT use LabCorp. They are emblematic of EVERYTHING that is wrong with healthcare in America. read more
