I call the richardson location they CONFIRM both orders but say there is a problem and they need my doc to send a new fax, so I call my doctor and she sends the order again. I call back and CONFIRM that both MRI are going to be done the same appointment. 3. An hour before my appointment they tell me they're running late and delay my appointment by 30 minutes. 4. When I get there they make me wait 40 minutes AND THEN tell me they only have one order. I tell them that their receptionist had confirmed both orders and the same appointment for both. They do a fake apology of the sorry not sorry sounds like your problem not ours. So I only do the one MRI. The tech was rude and combative and the manager was a spineless mgmt type. 5. To schedule the other one they tell me no location has ever had a second order and that I made a mistake or the doc made a mistake. I call the doctor and they explain with a confirmation number from gateway that the fax had been sent received and confirmed. The receptionist says it was sent to the wrong number which the doctor said to them was given to her by gateway themselves. 6. After I leave they find the order, call me to schedule. They tell me they cant even do that kind of mri in the first place which im pretty sure is a lie because they dont want to see me and acknowledge their mistake given that when I originally scheduled they named both orders and confirmed all the details at that location. 7. They tell me that a survey will follow after they schedule and to stay on the line to give my thoughts and then they immediately just hang up. All around incompetent, lazy, late, and incapable of accountability. As someone with chronic pain and too many doctors this place is more a barrier to health than a credible business. Nurse was professional, a good communicator, friendly, and cheerful. It is wonderful to have a nurse who smiles and can relax a patient. Nurse explained everything in an easy way for me to understand. I appreciate her expertise and her willingness to have short conversations with me. She gently inserted the catheter that was used for contrast dye. She also gently removed the catheter after the procedures were complete. MRI and CT technicians were also professional and good communicators. They also explained everything ahead of time so I knew what to expect. Two days later I returned to Envision Imaging to pick up my CD-ROM of previous imaging. I also picked up a CD-ROM of the MRI and CT that Envision Imaging performed. I had to reschedule my first x-ray appointment in Wylie because their equipment had broke down and they were able to reschedule me in Allen the same morning. I did not fill out the online check-in information and preferred to fill out paperwork and she said no problem. When I returned the paperwork to her, I mentioned to her that my birthdate was wrong. I then noticed the lady on my right. (Her name was Coy) spoke under her breath out loud and said ,"If you had filled out the online application, you would've noticed that." It was very flippant remark and with a snippy tone. She was working with another patient and I was taken back by what she had just done and I decided to speak up and advocate for myself, and I said, " Did she just talk under her breath about me ?" to the lady in front of me. And then Coy spoke up again said," oh I didn't mean to hurt your feelings," in which I then replied," you have not hurt my feelings, but you're behaving in a very unprofessional manner, and I can't believe you would be checking out this patient beside me and also be talking under your breath about me which has nothing to do with you." I'm still freaking out that this is even happening and I look at Coy and I tell her that I didn't appreciate her talking about me under her breath when she wasn't even the person checking me in or taking my payment and she kept talking over me and she wouldn't let me finish my sentence. Tricia, the x-ray tech was just watching not doing anything about it not telling Coy to go away not protecting me as a patient and I finally had to raise my voice and tell Coy to get out of the room so I could get my x-rays completed. It was absolutely bizarre and frightening at the same time and I couldn't believe Coy had gone from the front desk to the x-ray room to talk to me about this when I'm trying to get an x-ray. I was so shaken up. It was very hard for me to go through the next 15 minutes of x-rays. I was so upset. I was on the verge of tears. It was horrible. I spoke to the manager Lauren afterwards and she was very kind to listen to my experience and she assured me that they would be escalating this to upper management and it would be taken care of. Averaging at 5 text messages and 3 to 4 emails a day till my appointment. Can I tell how annoying that is. Apparently when I showed up for my appointment and told them they just needed to merge my file, really. Also when I tried calling them the person who answered was laughing and really wasn't listening to me. She said come in 15 minutes early to complete your paperwork. They are located in a high rise office building close to Highway 75 and Medical City. The visitor parking is a few rows back from the building. It is clearly marked, but still easy to get to the building. My nurse practitioner put in a request for an x-ray on my right foot that I have been hobbling in pain on since July. I received a text message from Envision Imaging just a few hours after my medical appointment with my nurse practitioner. The text had a link to the electronic checkin. I was able to fill out all of the paperwork online and in advance of the appointment for the x-ray. I was thrilled to find out that they are open on Saturday mornings. You can easily book an appointment online, but if you need to schedule a same day or next day appointment, you have to call. I called and someone answered right away. The representative was able to book me an appointment the very next day. The facility is on the ground floor of the high rise office building. The waiting room had plenty of space and was nicely decorated. There was a television for those who wanted to pass the time. I didn't wait long. There were two staff members at the desk. One checked me in and took my payment. Both were friendly and upbeat. The technician called my name soon afterwards. She wore all black except bright pink gloves. She reviewed my medical history and then had me hop up on the table to do a few x-rays on my foot. The table was at a low level which made it easier to get on. I did have to configure leg and foot in various positions so that she could capture all angles. No protective lead shield apron was provided. Apparently the equipment is calibrated and directed so it doesn't irradiate my entire body unnecessarily. The capture process was mere seconds. After three or four shots in different positions, I was done. I had arrived 15 minutes early for my 10:45 am appointment. They were so quick and efficient that I was actually done with everything BEFORE 10:45. Wow! What great service!
