Able to make an appointment easily. Waited only a short amount of time in the waiting area once I was checked in. It took about 5-10 mins to perform the capture of images. Choose your battles and be your own advocate!! This review is for the 1910 N Collins Blvd, Richardson, TX 75080 location. No courtesy at the front desk, they don't really care about YOU. 1) The MRI Tech (Annie) does NOT follow the "sterile glove" policy; she grabbed a handful of gloves from the box, picked a couple, shoved the remainder BACK into the box, they all fell out, onto the unclean table; then put them BACK into the box! 2) She "accidentally" jabbed me in the forearm - with the needle; nowhere close to the area she prepped; then still continued to use that same needle to inject my arm (I stopped her!), she then acted like this treatment was normal! 3) The Manager (Sylvia) did not care and acted like all of this was no big deal as well! Any of these are reason to NOT go to this location! There's so much more to add... but this is the short version! DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION!! read more

Absolutely ridiculous pricing! I can't help insurance, but when the cash price for a scan is literally 4 times more than other places for the exact same imaging there is a big problem. Do not use them unless you want to pay way more for exams and procedures than what they should be. I will let my doctor know as well to not refer patients here. read more

The employees arrive late to work on the regular based on reviews and from my observation. I was 3 minutes late and they took a later appointment ahead of me and after taking payment informed me I have a 45 min wait because I was late! I made an appointment with them last week for my father's exam. They had the whole week but they didn't inform me that they did not do that kind of exam anymore until I showed ip at the office. And they said that they called my doctor's office to announce that but when I confirmed with my doctor, nobody called. Why wasted and disrespected the customer's time???? I was in today for an 1130 appointment and arrived at 1115. I waited to almost 1230 when everyone in the waiting room was cleared out including all of the "walk in" customers that arrived after me. I asked the older lady receptionist if I had been forgotten and why the other people were serviced before me? She said they were walk in appointments. I told her this is wrong and I should have been serviced (Xray) before the walk ins. She said nothing and then I was serviced in 5 minuets as the Xray technicians were not busy. read more

Needed to get an MRI and this is where my PCP sent me. The location is clean. All COVID precautions are underway, all staff in masks, waiting room is spaced out, I was required to wear a mask. Very well protected. Son was the one who took my images, she was amazing, super sweet. She cleaned/sanitized the room in front of me, was clear with the procedure and instructions, was comforting, and eased my nerves. Great experience. read more

The place is clean, the tech was great- 5 stars to him, friendly and super helpful. The front desk was rude, and you could see them talk about people as they walked away. Appointment scheduling is a joke, you call/ leave a message, they call back the next day- you miss it. Do not present your insurance!! I asked front desk upon checking in what the self pay cost was, and I was quoted $145 for a 2 view X-ray. They billed my insurance $410 per view, a total of $820!!! So unethical! Had I known this, I wouldn't have presented my insurance. Insurance only covered what the reasonable cost was, basically what the self pay cost is. Just called billing and they said there was nothing they could do! Of course, this business is just about the money! So sad they rip people off who have insurance! They have completely lost my business, and I will never refer anyone to them!! read more

Went there for a CT scan 1 hour earlier but the front desk forgot to give me the "liquid" I was suppose to take prior to the scan. They found out when I was already laying down for the scan so I had to take the liquid and wait another hour before they could do the scan. I told them my dr needed by Wednesday, this was on Friday, they said "no problem". But there was a problem went they failed to send the scan/report to the dr. I waited over an hour and finally had to reschedule my dr appointment. They are disorganized. I will not use them again. I will try any other place instead. read more

Facility was clean and CT Scan Tech was very nice and attentive. The problem: no one mentioned they don't have radiology staff to read my scan in a timely manner. I thought I was doing the right thing to avoid the ER. Wrong place to go for scanning. It has been two full working days and no radiologist has even looked at my scan, yet. Three patients reservation seemed to have been cancelled through the clerks incompetence. This place is very deceptive and the billing dept. is a complete mess. I paid 50% upfront $320, got a bill in the mail for the other half, then another bill a month later for $1,640. Touchstone claims it is United Healthcare's fault but United Healthcare says Touchstone didn't send the correct records and informed them by letter. If you've ever needed to get any kind of imaging done, you'll know that you never know what you're going to get. Are you going to have to wait for an hour? My experience here was great. I was told that there were 3 people in front of me and that it would be a 30-40 minute wait. Okay, good, expectations have been set. I told them that I was going to make an errand run and be back in 20 minutes. She said that it'd be fine, but if they called my name and I wasn't here, I'd get put back in line. I come back and pretty quickly after that, they called my name. Inside I went and snap, snap, snap, my X-rays were done and I was out of there. A bonus is that they have Otis Spunkermeyer cookies for you while you wait. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER. I can barely keep my thoughts coherent to describe what a miserable experience I had with this outfit. First, even though my doctor sent them a request for my MRI and told me to wait that Touchstone would call me to setup the appt it was me calling Touchstone two days later to schedule the appt. Second, when I arrived I was treated like I am at the DMV, like a number not as a patient with a serious medical concern. They barely looked up from their seats to talk with me. Third, and this is the biggest problem I had with Touchstone Imaging, is that after I filled out all the paperwork then they showed me the estimate of my out-of-pocket cost, $985 dollars! That's not $985 that insurance pays and then I have some small amount, no, it was $1000 insurance was going to pay and then I would also have to pay an additional $985. When I asked why wouldn't you let the patient know the cost in advance Touchstone tried to blame it on me calling to set up the appt. I used our health insurance website to lookup other MRI facilities, called around, and ended up paying &400 cash for the same MRI at Gateway Diagnostic Imaging of Plano. read more

Absolute billing nightmare. Save yourself a hassle and find some other place. From staff to management to regional director, everyone is just there to rip you off. If you want to dig in further, read some other reviews and you will know yourself. I went to them since they were referred to me by my doctor and were closeby. They quoted me one price, I asked them to confirm with my insurance and I re-confirmed with them before going for the scan and even made the full payment they requested before even the scan was done. I was told that my account is all set and there should not be any more charges on my account. To my surprise I received a $800 bill two weeks later. Called them up and they blamed it on insurance even after quoting and confirming beforehand with my insurance. Talked to the staff, billing dept, location management and even regional manager Jamie Ward, all the same. They instead started blaming me for the mishap and reported it to collection. I have been using insurance for years and very familiar with the insurance system, never in my life I had a $800 bill difference on what was quoted compared to the final amount.
