This clinic is great. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, they make you feel as though you are a VIP, very important patient. The incorporated humor really helps in easing the anxiety and I never felt nervous or unsure. I am blessed that my cardiologist referred me for my surgery requiring replacement of a valve. I can only assume they were ok . It was like I suggested probably indigestion and now I have a $1500. or more bill to pay. As myself being a country girl and a Christian I just expected a little more respect then I received from the Dr. At the age of 64 I need a cardiologist I can feel that he has my interest at heart not my money. The doctor was 30 minutes late because he was "stuck in traffic on 75". When the nurse finally got me into a room, she said she was going to do an EKG. I told her I had one last week at my general practitioner's office and I would be happy for him to send the results. She asked if I had it with me. I told her again I would ask my GP to forward a copy to the doctor. She replied. "I will let Dr. Frenkel know you refused", and left the room hurriedly. I also asked her why I was sent to a different location, and also asked if they are affiliated with BSW. She said, "We have never been affiliated with BSW." She was very abrupt and seemed bothered with every question. She returned and handed me a gown and told me to undress and put it on. I told her I was confused why a cardiologist needs me to take my clothes off. She said, "Because it's your first visit with the doctor." That does not answer the question. I asked again, and she gave me the same answer with a strict tone. I have never been asked to undress for a cardiologist and have never had a nurse reluctant to give information or answer questions. I told her I was not satisfied with her reluctance to answer my questions or explain anything. I then left the office.

Dr ordered scans, labs, etc. and this is where the experience changed- the person scheduling and checking me out was RUDE and downright NASTY at the end. When I asked for help to understand how to get the scans and bloodwork done since they didn't do in the office she gave quite an attitude, even told me to go where I would always go- I explained this was my first time to get this type of thing and was asking for help- she returned an eye roll and kept shaking her head at me like I was an idiot- her customer service SUCKED!!!! When I asked her to stop shaking her head at me and that I was asking for help she denied doing it at all of course - with an even bigger attitude! She very clearly shook her head multiple times- I am a well educated and successful professional and did not deserve to be treated like I was ignorant and an inconvenience. Unacceptable and I will be addressing it directly!!!

I was referred here by my primary care physician for an EKG and other tests. One of the worst…read moreexperiences I've had with a doctors office. Non-existent communication, I dealt with multiple calls saying they received my referral, but when I tried repeatedly to make an appointment they said they didn't have my referral! It was bordering on comical, but the complete lack of accountability and knowledge made it more like a humiliation ritual. After more than a week of this, I was finally able to make an appointment and have the procedure done. Quality of care was nothing special, Dr. Suba seemed to be in a rush to get the appointment over with, not much of a bedside manner and a little condescending. I was told I needed to return for another procedure which I was able to schedule at the time, so that was a small victory. When I went back, the woman who performed the more advanced procedure was warm, comforting and professional. Unfortunately I forgot her name, but I feel like she's the only bright spot in that place! So, I was also told they wanted to place a heart monitor on me between my surgeries but when I attempted to make an appointment for that, I was faced with the same circus I experienced prior when trying to speak with an actual person and get something scheduled. Fast forward to today, I've completed both my surgeries and never had a monitor implemented. I will never return to that place, if I need to see another cardiologist I will seek out an independent doctor instead of going through a chain type place like this one. It appears that a lot of the doctors they employ are transplants from outside of the country, and have a different view on what quality of care looks like.

I truly believe the confidence as well as the encouragement they have given me is the reason I haven't had anymore cardiac events. But the ONE only issue I have is the very long wait time to speak to a life person in the office so making an appointment can be a challenge. Hoping they can fix this problem. Other than that I can highly recommend this practice!
