Oh my gosh, this place is amazing. Got my appointment walked in within two minutes. They had me back. I laid down. The gentleman, shook my hand and introduced himself and told me what he was going to do. He really cared. It was just such a high-quality place the Type of Care this place gives you is amazing and then to get your results and they go through it with a fine tooth comb and they tell you about each part of it and give you diagrams to touch and learn about what's going on highly recommend this place. In the past we have had no issues with Gateway but for some reason it's the start of 2025 and they need to get their business together and better organized. I had scheduled my MRIs that had to be done before March. I spoke with a kind woman back in December, she helped me get what needed to be done. Painless right. The next day I got a phone call telling me we need to schedule your MRIs . I told them I was already put down for these dates (I had 4 but had to break them up). They said " oh okay cool" and hung up. A week later it was a different person saying the same thing. I told them again it was set up already. They said they were sorry for the misunderstanding. And for the next week they spammed my phone saying I needed to schedule! The price also changed each time too. But finally got the proper amount. I'm sorry, $8k out of the blue in short notice like that, just won't happen. Again, have never had issues up there until this year. I don't know if it's new management or someone isn't up to speed up there. Write stuff down! It's been a headache the past almost 2 months now. read more

I made an appointment for a series of x-rays through my medical doctor and they were able to see me within a week although they told me they would call me to confirm my appointment a day before my appointment. They actually failed to call me. I had to call to confirm my appointment the day of the appointment. Yeah kind of wordy. The building that Gateway is in does not require a mask however, certain businesses inside that building do require a mask including Gateway itself; very inconsistent policies. Anyway, the x-ray technician was courteous and I was able to get in and out of there within 15 minutes. read more

Tremendously unimpressed with my initial contact to set up the appointment as directed by my referring provider. Apparently patient means the person that they are to take care of needs to wait patiently until they feel like getting around to meet their needs. My referring provider gave me my referral and simultaneously told me that they sent over a copy. I was instructed to call to set up the appointment and quickly so that my images would be ready for my follow up appointment. The receptionist response screamed patients don't matter at Gateway. I was told that they are "order driven" and that "someone" would get back to me in a week or 10 days to let me know when and if I get an appointment. Only if I don't hear from them in 7 to 10 days should I bother to call back and follow up. Aside from very poor patient relations, it's a problem since it doesn't allow sufficient time to get the images back before the doctors office has scheduled my follow up. Heads up for physicians who don't like getting negative reviews on yelp: Don't treat patients in a way that earns negative reviews. read more

I had to go for an ultrasound. I received a call informing me of my copay which seemed high, they told me that I had not used up my deductible. But actually this procedure does not apply to my deductible. I called my insurance and they told me the same and I only owed less than $50. I called Gateway and asked them to verify with my insurance - ofcourse they did not! so I called again, this time I got Joyce, I believe she is one of the front desk employees. I explained the situation to her. She was curt, not rude but very authoratative with me and insisted they are right. I called insurance again, and this time my insurance member services rep called Joyce and explained to her and she took care of the adjustment. Why did she give me attitude? The technician who did my ultrasound, was ok, very to the point and got the job done - not particularly warm, but professional. read more

Not only were the two ladies in the front super sweet and answered all the questions for everyone in the lobby, but the man who did the chest x-ray was the sweetest person and really showed that he cared about the patients coming in. Do not advise to go here. Discrepancy in the doctors orders and what was done so has to make two visits. Billed for both even though it should have all been taken care of at first visit. Fair price, good service. MRI was scheduled expeditiously. The contracted rate with my insurer was lower here than at many other facilities, higher than a handful. As a long time employee of a surgeon's office I can say without a doubt that the quality of the images and radiologist reads was just as good as any hospital based facility at 1/2-1/3 the price. No frills facility, but clean and friendly. They have everything you need. I did have one recommendation, nothing serious at all. Management was very quick to respond to my feedback. I've had several imaging services done here. Postives: they accept insurance, their radiologist are employees (so no surprise radiology bills), and their services are professional. I love that they are a one stop shop. It puts me at ease that the price tag is WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get. ) All my services have been done during covid, but I've had no issues or reservations about compliance with guidelines. Overall VERY satisfied. Negatives: none in my experience. read more

I had called them to check the price, which they had to run the insurance. I also asked for the price without the insurance. When I actually called to make the appointment I could not get through. Later I found they had blocked my phone ( I could reach them by another phone at the same time). What service is this? Was it because they thought I was uninsured? Is it even legal for them to do so? I came here recently for an ultrasound of my thyroid. Likes: - Good parking in front and back of building - Their office is easy to find on the ground floor - The office was well kept and decorated - Staff was friendly - They let me use their restroom instead of the main one in the hallway Dislikes: - Longer wait than expected wait and my appointment didn't happen on time - Ultrasound tech was friendly overly and strangely chatty I'd recommend them! Made an appointment for 4:30 p.m. to get x-rays. I got a call the day before confirming my appointment for 4:15 p.m. Now they tell me I'm supposed to be there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Such an expectation would be nice to know when actually scheduling the appointment. Gateway is located inside an office building with no signage out front, just the address number. The first thing that hit me upon entering the suite was the super strong smell of fragrance in the air. It was a pleasant smell but was so strong and over-powering I ended up having to cover my nose at one point. Filled out the paperwork and returned it to the receptionist. She asked me to sign one page that said I didn't authorize them to discuss my treatment with anyone, except I had to point out that what she was asking me to sign did not say what she said it did (lawyers read what they're signing or not signing). She copped an attitude after that and pretty much took the paperwork back and moved on to other tasks without another word to me. I would replace her if I was in charge, solely based on how she treated a patient. My experience after that point was great. I was taken back for x-rays on time, and the technician was very nice. She was able to develop and see the images she'd taken within a few seconds, and took more because the bones weren't quite aligned properly. I appreciated that because if the correct anatomy could not be visualized, it would mean another trip for x-rays. I was out of there by 4:40 p.m. read more

Was told at the front desk that my part would be $745. I told her that sounded high because my insurance usually pays for most, if not all, of imaging costs. She basically told me to pay $745 or leave. I paid her because I was in terrible pain and needed this done now. When I received my EOB from the insurance, THEY had paid $745 and the rest was discounted per the contract. So, basically, they wanted to me to pay the insurance portion for them to hold until the insurance money came in. On the bright side, the technician was very friendly and personable. In addition, once I spoke to the billing department, both girls were very nice and understanding and got the refund pushed through pretty quickly. The technician and the billing department are the reason they even got 2 stars here, otherwise it would have been zero. Please teach your front desk people how to understand insurance benefits and don't give people the "pay now or go somewhere else" attitude. I am headed out for a different scan right now, but it will be at a different facility that files my insurance before billing me for anything left over. read more

Everyone was nice, friendly and very helpful. Pleasant office environment, very professional. The wait wasn't long at all roughly around 10 or 15 minutes and they give you a copy of your images, also if you ask they will e-mail the report as well. I was referred to this company by my spine doctor that is in the same building. I needed an x-ray to show the results of my most recent surgery. They were very friendly upon arriving and quick to call me back for my procedure. I had very little wait time and the nurse was very accommodating to me since I had just had spine surgery a couple of weeks prior. My images were delivered to me on disk within 15 minutes after returning to the waiting room. They are very quick and on top of things here. Gateway Diagnostic Imaging tried to overcharge me around $1,450 and even blamed it on my insurance. I also waited a couple of days to hear back from them, when they promised to give me a call back the same day. Always do your own research and do not trust them when they send you additional bills. I had to have an MRI of my left knee's blown out medial meniscus for the orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Chris Miller (THE best orthopedic surgeon I've ever known), who referred me to Gateway. A little bit of my background regarding my five-star score: I attended x-ray school so I could work my way through pre-med university classes as a registered radiological technologist. Therefore, I know X-Ray Techs and their work environment(s). I'm also a licensed chiropractor, since 1985, who had an x-ray unit in my office. Bottom line: Gateway is a five-star place! The front desk is friendly and efficient. The MRI tech was professional, attentive, and enjoyed what she did with excellence. I was quickly given a CD of my MRI so as to present it to Dr. Miller at the pre-surgery workup. read more
