Quick turnaround I was only there about 45 minutes and done. Friendly staff also. The only complaint I have is that it was loud.

Do Not bring Children here- Poor Communication, Rushed, Absolutely no explanation of the process…read moreprior to arrival so people can make an informed decision. Felt like money mattered more to them than care for humans. VERY small room, very claustrophobic, caused machine noise to be amplified so earplugs not helpful, they are very cheap & small earplugs anyway- if you dare choose this place bring your own ear plugs, be ready for anything because they don't tell u anything. Can't be in view of room w your child either- super disturbing. Children's has the parent in a viewing window area...wish they would have told us ANYTHING Had 5 phone calls about money - not one mention of what to wear, what not to wear, what is going to happen, no explanation to child, made me stay at desk to pay while took my kid because the technician told me as she was tapping her watch - they had a schedule to keep - again - their schedule & money more important than your child or patient comfort here. Even when I asked for someone to go over what would be done, they rolled their eyes & gave me a forced explanation. We would have left if I had not already paid & I would not have paid if I knew it was a itty bitty room w old machine, no viewing area, no care for anxiety of the child, no care to explain, such incompetence of customer service it's sad. Just all around bad experience! Scottish rite or Children's has a sliding scale, & better facilities- go there instead.

Midtown Medical Imaging is a very nice facility. It looks new, professional, and dare I say…read moreinviting? I was referred to this place by my orthopedic doctor. While they take a variety of insurance, they were also willing to do my MRI on a cash basis. I was invited to sit down and asked to fill out several forms. They were provided on a clipboard and there was a cup of pens to select from. I was taking a little too long to complete the paperwork, so the receptionist asked me to come up to her desk where she could help me quickly complete them with the information they needed. She said she would fill in any blanks. Normally I wouldn't do that, but it was for things like my insurance card which they had already scanned and put on file. The actual MRI was quick and painless. Prior to starting, I was asked about the reason for the MRI and whether I had any implants or metal on me. Once I was safely cleared for the test, I was given the opportunity to change clothes and place my items in a secure locker where I input the code. The MRI tech Kari lowered the bed for me, queued my favorite tunes, and helped make me comfortable. She even put a pillow under my knees to steady me. The machine plays some loud bangs and mechanical whizzing noises, but I just kept my eyes closed, my body still, and focused on the classical piano music I asked her to play into the headphones I was given for the 10 minute test. I was told at the desk that they would bill my insurance, so I owed nothing today. However, I might receive a bill at a later date if insurance denies the claim. It will supposedly cost me about $400. I can get my results from my doctor within a week, but I can also request the results within 15 business days. Because I'm doing the cheapest option, I was not given a CD like other patients. I would definitely return here as they were very clean, comfortable, professional, and willing to work with me on a cash basis.

I had a very concerning experience at Midtown Medical Imaging involving a serious reporting error…read moreand poor follow-up. My CT report incorrectly stated that a pulmonary nodule measured 2.7 cm, implying a major increase and a potentially serious condition. When I asked for the measurement unit to be verified, I was not allowed to communicate with the radiologist directly and was told everything had to go through my doctor's office. Even after my primary care office contacted them , the imaging center reconfirmed the incorrect report. An independent radiologist later reviewed the images and immediately confirmed the nodule was 2.7 mm, not 2.7 cm. Only after this was communicated did the imaging center acknowledge the mistake and issue a corrected report. When I contacted the office manager to file a complaint, they first claimed there was no record of my doctor's office calling, and then never responded to my follow-up email. I strongly suggest management review their report verification process, patient communication policy, and complaint-handling procedures to prevent this from happening to other patients.

The session was amazing, we did the Gender Plus and had a great experience. We then did another one (the deluxe package) at 28 weeks so my parents could come along, as a thank you for the amazing baby shower they threw us. We gifted them some pictures and added a heartbeat bear for them - it was perfect for all of us! Then we took advantage of the final sneak peek and went at 34 weeks. My baby has been measuring 2 weeks ahead so I was incredibly nervous we wouldn't be able to see him with just 10 minutes but we got some great pictures and I was so impressed. Every session I left feeling more and more in love. Amazing staff! TIPS FOR PICTURES: Drinks tons of water for 5 days leading up to the session to get the most clear pictures 15 minutes before session, have something to drink full of sugar like juice or soda. I always got a slurpee bc it was both really cold and sugary so it got baby moving. I also ate something before to make sure he wouldn't be so sleepy.

This review is strictly for the sonogram tech who did our sonogram. Her bedside manner, personality…read moreand attitude were absolutely atrocious. I'm very accepting of all personality types but calling her opinionated, naggish, negative and pushy is being kind. We almost got off that table and walked out. Let's start with her repeatedly asking how many weeks we were, even though she was told several times and it was right on the screen in front of her. We literally just stopped answering the question. Then her comments like.. * It's going to hurt so bad. Just get the epidural. After being told that we were using a midwife and doing a water birth. That should usually trigger someone that this birth is a natural birth. When she said that we asked her clearly shocked why would you say that or encourage people to get an epidural, she carried on and then said, well maybe it just hurt me so bad because I'm so petite. Girl. What?? Maybe some people just have a really low pain tolerance. * After that awkward encounter that almost made us get up and leave she had the audacity to say, it has a really big head and has to go through that little space right there. That's your birth canal. So the big head has to go through there. That's a really big umbilical cord. * Yes she said it. She kept referring to him as an it. * I have three kids, I know what I'm talking about. * Is the dad so excited? Where is he? He must have had to work today that's why he missed the appointment. *Look, Look, look. Look here. Look. So rushy and naggish. There is a dozen other things that made our eyebrows raise but those were the worst. Oh and the pushing for tips. That's crazy. I just paid almost $200 for this sonogram. You are a sonogram tech. That's what I'm paying for. That's like tipping your dentist or doctor. And having to go into the screen, select custom and enter zero is crazy. Her energy was so negative we didn't even tell her our baby's name when she asked. Didn't want that toxicity muddled with it.

I asked them three different times on multiple phone calls if they had an Open MRI. They said "Yes." I asked if it was open on the sides and not closed in, they said "Yes." I asked if it was "hamburger style" and they said "Yes." I drive 30 miles to them and get there only to find out that the "Open MRI" is still a tube but slightly bigger. Just like a regular MRI machine just a little bigger. This is NOT what I was told on the phone. Also, this company had me scheduled for a normal MRI at a different location. When I called, they said I was supposed to go to a different location and there was no note in my file about an "Open MRI." I am glad I called because I would have went to the wrong location in the first place. I will not be using this company again. When I went to the facility, there was someone waiting in the waiting room not wearing a mask. During these times of COVID-19, it should be one in and one out like every other doctor's office I have visited.

They had hand sanitizers and there was enough distancing between seats. Besides it was not full of people. There was 1 person when I got there and one arrived after me. They had their face masks. I was given the choice of waiting inside watching TV for the 45 minutes it takes for the contrast fluid to go through me, or I was welcome to take it outside, or to my car and drink it and return in 45 mins. The radiologist was extremely nice through the entire process, explaining things as we were going. There was no surprises. I even apologized for not being able to hold my breath for 20 seconds. She told me that she got the image and it was perfectly clear! Turns out I let my air out on the 18th or 19th second.
