We arrived 10 minutes before the lap appointment but waited another 20 minutes on top of the appointment time to finally have the blood drawn, nearly 35 minutes more than planned. The issue is that even if the doctor sends the lab order electronically, the patients are encouraged to bring a paper copy because the system is not even showing the correct lab request, which slows down the appointment by having the lab technician manually enter the request from the paper and then scan it into the system. Attentive staff and good quality work, but the delays make it difficult to give it 5 stars. read more

I had a wonderful customer service experience at Quest Diagnostics and highly recommend you schedule an appointment with Crystal next time you need some lab-work done! I am working with a functional medicine practitioner who is analyzing 100+ biomarkers in my body so that I have actionable data to determine what steps may be needed to best support my overall health and well-being. Made my appointment online with no issues. Checked in via the text link they sent me with no issues. I was called ON TIME to the exam room. All this could be tossed aside had they had a grouchy or poorly-skilled phlebotomist, but I hardly even felt the needle and we had a fun conversation. She was smooth, efficient, and I was in and out faster than at the Quest in my doctor's actual office! read more

Excellent service. Walked in late with no appointment and was greeted by Crystal, one of the nurses upon arrival. Gave her the list of everything I needed done and it was no problem. When you look up Quest, the reviews can be quite awful and scary. I found this location 30 minutes from me in Plano at the Tom Thumb that had slightly better reviews than most so I made the trip. April was a pure joy and put me completely at ease. She was kind, gentle, and precise! I truly enjoyed the few minutes I had with her while getting many tubes of blood drawn which tells you a lot! I went to drop a 24 hour urine sample. The African American older lady is rude. I was asked to wait until 2:30, having arrived at 11:00am. (I did not have an appointment, I was only dropping off a sample). There is no kindness, no compassion. No interest in providing a service. Myself and a few others had a very frustrating time at this location due to a very rude employee. I did not catch the employee's name but she was an African American woman. This started when I arrived at the Quest location within Tom Thumb. I opened the door to the Quest waiting area while they were on their lunch break. I could not see the business hours printed on the door because the door was plastered with signs, ads, and other printed materials. I was told that they weren't open yet so I apologized and stepped outside. When they opened back up after lunch I went inside and was rudely told that I needed to step outside because appointments come first. I tried to explain that all I needed was to check in, I wasn't trying to cut in line, but the lady did not allow me to speak and kept interrupting me and made me go outside. This confused me because at every single other Quest location I've been to, whether they be stand alone locations or locations within Walmart/etc, has been set up properly with a waiting area and a check in kiosk even during COVID. This location was also set up with a waiting area and all chairs were separated by 6ft. I stopped outside of the Quest location waiting to be to be told to go inside and check in, nobody ever came. I just kept seeing people with appointments go inside. After a while I went back inside and was finally able to check in because the rude employee was behind a closed door and another employee, who was actually polite, allowed me to check in. As I was checking in the rude employee came out and yelled at me to disinfect my hands when touching the kiosk. I didn't notice the sign that instructed us to do this because I was so nervous about even checking in. As I was having blood drawn by the polite employee, multiple people kept walking inside wanting to check in and the rude employee had the same kind of interaction with them, yelling at them to go outside because appointments came first and not allowing them to check in. At one point, an older man tried to argue with her and let her know that he wasn't trying to cut in line ahead of the appointments, all he wanted to do was check in like he always does at other Quest locations. The rude employee told him to have a good day and loudly slammed the door on his face. The employee drawing my blood was obviously embarrassed by her coworker's behavior and made a comment attempting to play it off. This was the worst experience I've had when having labs done. My suggestion is to either use the waiting room and kiosk like it's supposed to be used and how it's used at every other location. Alternatively they could place the check in kiosk outside of the Quest door (inside of Tom Thumb) so that people can check in as they arrive without going inside to sit in the waiting room. read more

The number of very poor reviews for this location of Quest caused me to think twice before coming to get my ordered blood test at this location this morning. I should've trusted my instincts. i'm at the app that they ask you to use to register and make it appointment is totally non-functional. He did the have to get your information and it would currently cannot create a profile, it doesn't give you any satisfaction much less comfort in the security of trustling this organization or an application with your confidential personal financial information much less healthcare information. , The app's deficiencies are far surpassed by the poor service of Brandon at this location. My experience with Brandon gets a whole new meaning to me for the phrase "let's go Brandon" for me it now means let's go somewhere other than Quest. Question in appropriateness of this conduct is particularly inexcusable in light of the fact that there was no one else in the clinic. I suspect that that's going to be a growing experience request if it doesn't clean up its act. I think they've gotten complacent about service in the age of Covid. Had a verified appointment for 8am. I showed up at 8am but no employee was there and it was still closed. I waited until 8:25 until an employee showed up with her coffee in hand to open up the facility. By this time another person was behind me and had been waiting for a while also. Without reading the reviews, I went to this Quest Diagnostics location for a blood work for my son and had bad experience with Nicole. She was rude to us, not considerate and lacks minimum courtesy to the customers. Other person standing in the line mentioned they had similar experience where she lacks the courtesy to the customers. I am wondering after all these reviews, if Quest diagnostics would coach her to better handle customers. I would avoid this location by all means!!!!! read more

I have never encountered such rude customer services. Nicole greeted me and my 2 girls without even looking at us, she just told us she's ready for us as she was headed into the bathroom. She didn't even make eye contact. She then proceeded to tell me I needed to register my kids and not myself because I was not the patient. When I told her I made the appointment over the automated phone system and it asked me for my name not the patient's name, she looked at me like I was an idiot. Then when my kids finally sat for the blood draw, she was rude and completely unaware of how her behavior was increasing their anxiety. My 8 year old daughter acted like a true champ to make sure her 7 year old sister didn't freak out. And when the 7 year old freaked out anyway, Nicole was completely matter of fact with her, my daughter needed to hear her say it would be super fast and she kept saying "I don't know how long it's going to take". When I tried to tell her we'd be done by the time we sang the abc's, Nicole said "I hope so". Every time she opened her mouth, my daughter would cry even harder and she really couldn't hide her face of pure irritation. I mean, if you're going to have employees like this, you really should put a disclaimer somewhere that says "not kid friendly, parents beware".
