Writing this review wasn't easy because I've had positive experiences with many of the staff here…read more I was disappointed for a couple of reasons. First, I accidentally wrote down the wrong appointment time and arrived 15 minutes late. I understand having policies for no-shows and late arrivals, but being charged a fee for an honest mistake was a tad disappointing. More importantly, while I think the healthcare providers here are extremely knowledgeable i often left feeling like my concerns weren't fully taken seriously. Confidence and expertise are important but so is listening to patients when they feel something isn't right. Sometimes a little more digging is required Because my symptoms continued, I decided to seek care at a different office, and I'm thankful I did. What I had been dealing with appears to have developed into something much more serious. I can't say whether earlier intervention would have changed the outcome, but it has made me wonder if my concerns should have been looked into more closely from the beginning. I'm sharing this in the hope that it encourages providers to listen carefully to their patients. Feeling heard and taken seriously can make a significant difference in a patient's experience and, potentially, their care.

However…read morethis morning when I arrived I realized I did not have my insurance card and was told they could not reach out on my behalf, no problem. After searching through emails and being unable to locate any information for them I asked if I could call my pharmacy and get the info from them since I knew they had just used it to fill a script for me, they said sure try it. After getting them the info I was then told that I'd need to reschedule as I was past my appointment time and I'd also have to pay $40 for missing today's appointment...all while standing in their office the entire time. This is my annual and it also requires me to fast overnight and they did not have another early morning appointment available for the reminder of this month and I told them my insurance expires at the end of the month. I've never had a front desk be so completely unwilling to work with me on something like this and this was with me actually being INSIDE their office, when I begged if there was anything they could do the receptionist told me I was one min late to my 8:15am appointment and I should have arrived earlier....I told her I came straight from dropping my children off at school and am a single mom...she still didn't care, I even asked why she didn't being this up while I stood there on the phone, I could have cash paid for the office visit and given them insurance for running tests....she just shrugged and said it was their policy. I never post reviews but this was over the top for me and her lack of empathy was unreal. I will unfortunately be finding a new doctor after this experience.

To Texas Breeze management…read more Sarah at your front desk should NOT be working with patients. Period. Contact me directly for more information if needed. I came in sick with the flu and escalating symptoms on Tuesday October 6th, at 3:45pm, for a 4:15pm appt. Sarah spent 45 minutes failing to find my record in your own system. She argued that I had never been there. We've been to this clinic MULTIPLE times, since they have opened. The last time was in March of this year. It's been our "go to" urgent care. If this young woman continues at the front desk handling clients with such contempt, Texas breeze will continue to lose clients. It's disappointing as the patient care by Edwin, the nurse once I finalize got to see him, was outstanding. Sarah proceeded to blame me, chastising and literally lectured me TWICE for not carrying my medical records and told me to "do better next time." When I asked her to stop, she again, argued with me. Then she told me maybe I needed someone else to "handle me." That is how she spoke to a sick patient at your front door AND in the exam room as well. She was condescending and combative. She couldn't do the basic job of checking me in, and she escalated every time she was asked to stop. By the time a clinician saw me, my blood pressure was elevated and I was close to tears. I'm certain I am not the first patient she has treated this way, only one of the few who say so in writing. Deshai and Edwin, your nurse, were excellent, and they had to repair damage Sarah caused. That shouldn't be part of their job. I am asking management to review this incident and Sarah's role directly. Until then, I will not recommend Texas Breeze to anyone, and I know a lot of families in McKinney.

After waiting several minutes, an employee finally arrived, and I then had to wait another 20+ minutes while they opened the office and got the computers and systems up and running. When you're sick and just want to get back home to bed, that's incredibly frustrating. I was also told that the cost of my visit would apply toward my insurance deductible. However, my insurance was never billed. I've tried calling multiple times and have even stopped by during their posted business hours, but I haven't been able to reach anyone or get this resolved. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this facility. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inability to resolve a straightforward billing issue left me with little confidence in how the office is run.
