They have an automated system that no matter what option you select, there is just another automated message rattling off info I don't need, or referring you to the website which also doesn't help me. Sat for the 20 minutes and they called none of the walk in's nor were there any scheduled appointments. At 3:57 she comes out and say they're locking the door. I wouldn't recommend Quest at all. Quest Diagnostics is the Best of them ALL!! There's only 3 employees that works at this location and the system only allows 3 appointments. Walk-ins are welcome but it's like your Doctors office if you try to do a walk in they will try and work you. But patients with appointments are priority. Upon arriving for the first appt I asked if my other kid could be also taken in as I was already there- this I wouldn't have to wait an hour and a half. My experience with the lab technician was great! She was fast and friendly, the blood draw was painless. Often times we have to wait extended periods of time for labs, this is something you should plan for in case. If you are waiting for a long time, please remember that it's not the lab technician's fault. Everyone's time is important and they deserve the same respect you would want. Like the Seinfeld episode-- this location knows how to "take" the reservation, but fails to "hold" the reservation-- which really is the most important part. I'm currently sitting in a crowded waiting room with other frustrated, complaining would-be customers. One woman just stormed out after waiting quite awhile, another man huffed and left as I'm typing this. Just a small sterile room with kiosk check-in. Staff ignored everyone as the returned from lunch. Not surprising as I read through the other terrible reviews. The worst part is the repeating messages on the TV saying how efficient, easy and customer service oriented they are. What a joke. Lol read more

Have been here several times on a Saturday morning as a walk in. Never had an issue. Today, signed in. Several people waiting as walk ins. Oddly, the phlebotomists only called back individuals with appointments while I was in line waiting. Nearly every appointment was late based on the scheduled appointment time and time arrived on the screen. There were literally no individuals getting blood drawn in between the time a patient left and we waited for a late patient to arrive and be called. The women working could be heard laughing and talking loudly in the waiting room. One worker, Leah, opened the door and announced loudly at 11:43 am that they were not taking any of the 5 walk-ins, some who'd been waiting since 10:30 am. What was weird is that Leah spoke in such a hostile, uncaring manner. I haven't seen her here before. She was so angry as she spoke. The previous weeks we've been here, a phlebotomist would come out and lock the door at 11:45 am and finish drawing blood on the remaining walk-ins. Two children waiting for blood draws had been NPO since dinner the night before. One poor girl had had surgery and was in a cast and couldn't take her pain medication. She was clearly hurting. One mom mentioned her daughter not feeling well, etc. and Leah could have cared less. I don't understand why she was so unkind. No one had an issue with the rule Leah kept repeating as she raised her voice that Quest doesn't guarantee actually drawing blood if you're a walk in and have been waiting hours. She said they drew blood from 4 walk-ins and that seemed to make her mad to have had to do that. Treating people with kindness goes a long way, Leah. Quest, you've lost this family to LabCorp now. You are a business we can no longer support, thanks to your employee, Leah's actions. I would recommend replacing your sign with accurate times. read more

I didn't think I'd have a great experience getting blood drawn but damn, am I glad I went to this location! The waiting room wasn't crowded, I was seen at my scheduled appointment time, and the staff was super friendly. I don't recall the person's name who assisted me, but she was awesome. She was well-informed, gentle, and got my hiding vein on the first try which neeevvvveeerrrrr happens. I was in and out of there in under 15mins between checking in, doing the billing stuff, getting blood drawn, peeing in a cup, and leaving. Haley was professional, thorough, and super nice. She has years of experience, and has worked with all types of people, so she is very patient and understanding. Said I could "pause" my time and call my doctor. Resent paperwork. Waited another 40 minutes. Asked several times for help. No front desk, so you only get a mean nurse every ten minutes. I don't know what happened to all the lab techs and phlebotomists since 2020, but lab facilities in general have declined in service. And I feel fully qualified in complaining about this...I'm a nurse...I've worked thru COVID, I functioned during 2020 and every year since. I'm currently leaving this location, after waiting almost TWO hours WITH an appointment. The attitude of these over worked techs, coming out, yelling at everyone about their lunch hours, etc is inexcusable. I know you're stressed. Put a note on the door that says "no walk ins or drug screenings". Then stop over scheduling and triple booking times for patients. Inefficient, disorganized , unkind, and can be detrimental to patients health status, especially for new patients. The locked outer door, double door entrance , and the staff' s use of texting to the patient in lieu of verbal communication while the patient is sitting out in the public hallway is very misleading. One expects friendly staff to come out to you or to be told via text to enter. An important blood test can be missed because you didn't hear a staff member from outside the usually locked door, or if you are not notified via text to come in now. A patient who has done their part to be on time, is already anxious , a bit frightened, and sitting out in a noisy public corridor. All patients need to be brought inside very quickly. Some of these patients have serious illnesses , disabilities, a child, a senior... In the end being efficient gets the job done correctly , and a drop of kindness goes a long way. Twice I have been to the Quest Lab at Walmart on Richland in prosper Tx and twice the experience has been awful. The lab techs are obviously stressed and lacking proper support which results in an apparent poor employee attitude and poor patient experience. The rate of appts scheduled exceeds the employee capability and the result was patients waiting more than 45 minutes for their scheduled appt time - and while fasting! Also, sign said no employee drug tests on weekends and yet I spoke to multiple folks who were there for that very test! I appreciate the convenience of this location, however, given the delay I could have driven to my drs office and back in less time. I hope the location manager will reevaluate their present operating model and prioritize patient (and employee) satisfaction. read more

The lady came out and told me that I've been deleted from the list because they called my name twice already! I come here at least every 6 months. I have never experienced anything like this. I came in an hour before they closed just for a pick up. I had to be put on a standby list which is fine. There were 10 other people waiting before I ever got there. They finished all of their appointments by 1:30pm (30 minutes before they closed) and locked the doors at 1:40pm. They didn't take a single standby person and told us we all had to leave after waiting for almost an hour. Upon signing up for the list we were never told we might be kicked out after waiting all of that time. As the lady is trying to close the door on everyone asking questions I said I just have a pick up no blood testing. And a second lady walked out and told me they would have to get my information. So I asked if you had to have an appointment for just a pick up. She then got very rude and told me I was "telling" her and I responded with I am just asking a question I'm not telling you anything. She then proceeded to get even more of an attitude waving her hands around and so I told her no ma'am you're rude and walked out. She then proceeded to scream and curse at me as I'm walking out of the door and out of Walmart with customers everywhere. She was the only one wearing a white lab coat so I'm assuming she was the head staff for the day. I have no idea what was said that got her so upset to act out as an employee like that. Completely unprofessional and I will never be going back to this location. I will never recommend this one to anyone. I'm not sure if they rotate staff to different locations or not but if that's the case I will never be a quest client ever again after this. This was a very time sensitive case so I was unable to make an appointment. If I knew I was going to be screamed and cursed at in front of 100s of people for asking a question I would've never came to this lab. read more

Had a horrible experience at the Quest location in Prosper, TX ( Walmart - 500 Richland Blvd). The automated system is not very helpful, appointments are two weeks out and when I walked in I was treated with extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism. The lady serving in the location was was completely ignoring questions by waiting patients who had been there for over an hour and when asked to address our queries, slammed the door on me. She started yelling when asked for her supervisor and her name. She had no respect for people and their time. 4 patients including myself decided to just walk out. I don't see who would put their trust and leave their specimen with her knowing she could do anything in revenge. I have sent a message to the corporate office and have recorded a review as well, but to be honest, I am not too optimistic that anything would be done about the issue. I really hope someone in a superior position can take this into account and hold her accountable for her behavior as I do not see her deemed fit for a position thats customer facing. read more

The reason for 2 stars is because I had to give a urine specimen and there was no soap dispenser or soap if any kind. This is a health concern at a facility that falls under health care! I went to this location, which is inside a Wal-Mart. It was very clean and looked like the other Quest locations I have been to that were not inside a wal-mart. They open at 7am and I was there by 7:20. There were a few people in front of me, but like the other locations, you check in and wait your turn. They had a TV on to pass the time. Once the called me back and it was my turn, Lisa got the paperwork and took the blood - really great experience. Friendly staff and clean office. I will go here from now on. read more

Don't go to the Quest in Prosper, Tex in Walmart- YOU will wait for over an hour and they only call your name right inside the waiting room- if you are not in the Covid waiting room you cant hear your name called by Stacy- they skip you and you have to sign in again and wait another 34 minutes to be told you cant wait in the waiting room by Stacy due to covid but you have to wait outside the door for 35 minutes even though the kiosk said it would text you if you are in the store. I arrived an hour before my appointment and was going to ask if I could come early, but there was no receptionist. I was the only person in the waiting area. I checked in on the kiosk and was called back within three minutes! Lisa was wonderful! I hate needles and she used a butterfly needle on request. She was extremely personable and made me feel at ease. We even bonded over Gone With the Wind! This is the only Quest I will use in the future. pretty disappointed in Quest at the walmart in Prosper, TX. i have come here before and each time they have had to poke me 3-4 times in order to get blood and they are not nice about it. today i went in at 7am (when they opened) as a walk-in. i was told to come back at 11:40 - fine. i got an email saying that Quest had received my order form from the doctor. i arrived at 11:30 and had to wait almost 40 minutes to be seen. the lab tech told me she didnt have my order form and yelled at me because i did not have a physical copy of it with me. my mom was in the walmart so i called her and had her come in. while i was doing that another employee said i was "having an attitude" and they would not serve me if i had an attitude. we asked if we could email the form to them - they said no. we asked if we could go print it next door and come back and they said i would have to make another appointment. however i am a college student and this is the only weekend i am home so i could not come back. i left in tears from them yelling at me to get out and the technician refused to give us her name. never coming back here. read more

I waited an hour and 30 minutes to get my bloodwork done and finally at 12:30 i was let in and then told i couldn't get my blood taken because i had ate at 9:00 am which has never happened the 4 other times i have been there.
