Booking an appointment online for the same week was easy. However, there weren't many availabilities for 1-2 weeks in advance. I would highly recommend booking an appointment as I don't know how you would get seen otherwise. When I went, there were more than 20 people in the lobby waiting (enough chairs for everyone). You have to check in at a kiosk with your driver's license then you will receive a text saying they're almost ready to see you. The front desk staff member will call you to the window and ask you to verify some information. That process took a while but it seemed to be different for everyone. I arrived before my appointment time and had to wait 15 minutes. The phlebotomist said they were low on staff so they were scrambling that day. She was extremely nice and quick so at least that part wasn't bad. If I had a choice, I wouldn't go back to Labcorp seeing how busy they were. read more

By making an appointment ahead of time, it made things go quickly and I didn't have much of a wait. Valerie, who was at the receptionist desk, was so very nice and got me in a room quickly. D'Jarra did my bloodwork.. it was painless and quick plus she was also very pleasant. The organization at this place needs significant improvement. Appointments don't feel solidified or guaranteed, and I was told that part of the issue was that multiple patients had appointments scheduled for the same time. I understand that wait times can happen, but it's extremely frustrating to see people who arrived with appointments scheduled after yours being taken back before you. At that point, the purpose of having an appointment becomes unclear. There needs to be a much better system for managing appointments and walk-ins. If the facility is consistently dealing with large crowds and only has 3-4 patient rooms, that needs to be communicated honestly and managed accordingly. Waiting is understandable; poor organization and a lack of transparency are not. Hopefully, management takes this feedback seriously and improves the scheduling and patient-flow process. read more

The check-in system at this location desperately needs to be revamped. When you walk in, the kiosk is off to the side, while the reception window is much more obvious. People naturally line up at the window, not realizing that the people already standing there have been texted to come up after checking in. I watched several people wait in that line only to finally reach the window and be told they needed to go back and check in at the kiosk. The waiting process was just as confusing. One man who had already been waiting well past his appointment stood at the window for over 20 minutes just trying to ask when he might be called. He wasn't acknowledged during that time and was eventually told to go to the back of the line while the receptionist handled patients who had been texted. I arrived at 10:30 for my 10:45 appointment, checked in properly, and my phone showed I was checked in. Yet I watched people with later appointments arrive and be taken back before me. At about 11:20, I finally got in line myself and explained that I had been waiting since 10:30 and had an appointment. The receptionist looked at my paperwork and immediately told me to provide my urine sample and then go to room two. That left me wondering: How much longer would I have sat there if I hadn't gotten up and asked? The staff I personally dealt with were pleasant, so this isn't about unfriendly employees. It's about a check-in and waiting system that is unnecessarily confusing and creates chaos. Something about this process really needs to change. read more

Twice in a row, we came here for my three year-old son and they missed his vein and could not get the blood drawn both times! Previously, he was okay with getting his blood drawn and now he's scared because both times it hurt really bad and left him with a big bruise, and we still have not got the blood drawn and have to try again read more

Challenged here today. System was not taking people in order and phlebotomist named Hannah was the most unpleasant person I've ever encountered here. Just be sure if your name is on the list on the monitor in the lobby, that people don't start bypassing you because what's on the board might be different than what's on the computer. I spent 45 min today in their lobby waiting even if I had an appointment. As other reviews have noted, the African American receptionist is extremely rude. You can tell she thoroughly enjoys telling people she can't help them or they made a mistake. I felt bad for the elderly people that were struggling with the check in process because this woman was just so condescending. Lab Corp you need another person as a receptionist! Someone that actually is willing to help and not just be on a power trip. Also, it would help if Lab Corp has a tv monitor where patients can see their name and how many people are ahead of them. Patients will not have to ask how much longer it will take for their turn, especially since the receptionist is rude and makes it clear she is not happy to answer any questions. Quest has the tv monitor so patients know they are checked in and their approximate wait time. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to LabCorp. Response to LabCorp: It is not just the wait time that is a problem. It is the extremely rude receptionist. In reading through the other reviews, she is consistently rude. If LabCorp is striving for better patient experience, start by replacing the receptionist that has had multiple rudeness complaints. read more

Walked in at 3:30 on a Friday afternoon and was greeted by the front desk young woman who was cheerful, friendly and outgoing (wish I had gotten her name). Then I laughed hard with Tammy & Ana during my blood draw. Ana stuck me first but my vein wouldn't cooperate so Tammy had to stick my other arm. This is a very busy location so make an appointment or be first in the door! That said I was a walk in so I had to wait and observe. Appointments were taken in on time and walk ins in order of arrival. The staff was friendly and the lab draw by Asia was second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to use this location again. read more

Best blood draw experience I've had EVER! Amazing. I didn't even know they stuck me. I usually get really nervous getting my blood drawn, but this was easy and fast. I scheduled an appointment ahead of time through the LabCorp website. Reading the other reviews helped me know this is the best thing to do if you don't want to wait a long time. Go to: www.Labcorp.com and make an account to schedule your appointment. Checked in at the kiosk by scanning my drivers license front and back. About 30 seconds later they are calling me back to get started. Fast, efficient, skilled, and professional. I didn't take pictures of the inside as it's on the 3rd floor of the Physicians Building and there were patients in the waiting room. I'm coming here to get my blood drawn from now on. I am an older guy and have gotten blood panels and all's checked for many years. I, sadly, am not an easy stick and frequently the injections to get a blood sample can take a number of tries. However, today a young lady named Kanesha (?) took my blood sample successfully in one try. She was polite, I waited in the office maybe a minute before I was called back and my total time in the office was less than maybe 3 minutes. I am totally impressed. The female receptionist was so rude. Wow. I've never visited a clinic before where someone was so rude. This lady is the face of the clinic and to walk in and experience something like that makes me wish I would have just gone somewhere else. I'm hoping she just had a bad day or something. Just left there and had a great experience! I didn't have an appointment, and even with the waiting room being pretty full they got thru customers very quickly. I had Anastasia do my blood draw, and she got it in the first try, which normally doesn't happen. I was there less then 30 minutes total. Customer service is primary for me. Who's ever at your front desk sets the tone for the entire visit. I approached the front desk at 3:36p. I waited one minute for the woman at the desk to look up from her papers to say hello. It didn't happen so I said hello. I completed the sign in and waited again for her instruction. She saw me standing there staring as she looked at her papers. She must've felt uncomfortable so she looked up and said "have a seat we will call your name". No one wants to have their blood drawn or any labs done for that matter. A friendly smile or greeting can mean all the difference in experience. I will not be returning. read more

Quick service and turn around. The lady who drew my blood was kind and efficient but the receptionist was a whole different story. Very rude and short with all the customers that came to the counter. Robert is fantastic (as well as the other phlebotomists at this location). I have a special needs child who yells, kicks, and screams. He always gets the blood the first time (unlike some of the nurses at the hospital) and is very understanding and patient with our difficult circumstance. read more

I've never received worse treatment or customer service at a medical testing facility. Congratulations LabCorp, from the snarky receptionist who was rude to the lab tech who didn't speak to me before taking blood and was rude when I asked if she wanted to warn me before she started drawing blood so I could distract myself and not pass out on her, you're the worst. The icing on the cake was when I was putting on my jacket to leave and the lab tech shouted "EXCUSE ME SIR" and brushed past me to leave the room. This Frisco LabCorp on Parkwood is great. I'm a difficult draw because of 'rolling veins' and had some really bad experiences at another LabCorp in Lewisville. So I make the drive to Frisco to this LabCorp 2x a year (just got back). I've had different phlebotomists each time and each one did a great job drawing my blood, leaving only a tiny bruise and with minimal discomfort. It's such a relief for me to have found this place. I do tell them each time that I'm a 'difficult draw' and I do make sure to hydrate. I'll never be without anxiety about getting my blood drawn because of the bad experiences I've had in the past - but these guys make it so much better for me. read more

I was very pleased with our experience at this lab. I admit I was concerned after reading some of these reviews. We went on a Wednesday afternoon just after lunch, and we were the only folks in the waiting area so no waiting. We needed to register with the automatic register thing, but I understand the need for something like that in a busy lab practice. Robert, the gentleman at the desk was cordial and business-like. Brenda, the phlebotomist, was courteous and professional. We were in and out in a few minutes. We had some pleasant exchanges with the staff and were on our way. This location is only about 3 miles from our home and we look forward to coming back if further tests are ordered. One more thing. My wife bruises easily and she was very pleasantly surprised that the needle mark was essentially invisible and there was no bruising or bleeding. That is not always the case when she has a blood draw. read more

I brought my eight month old here for bloodwork. She needed three tests run. The first visit, they were only able to complete one test, because they couldn't collect enough blood. That was fine; I know it's harder to collect blood from babies than adults, and I wasn't upset. I returned a week later to have the other tests done. They had a copy of the doctor's orders, entered everything into their system, I verified with them what needed to be done, and they collected the blood - so I thought. About a week later, I get a call from my child's pediatrician, letting me know they are missing one of the test results. I called LabCorp to see what was going on and spoke with a woman who could NOT have been ruder. I ended up having to get the pediatrician involved, who found out that LabCorp had failed to run the third test. Now, I have to bring my baby back for a THIRD time to get her veins poked and prodded, because the people who work here cannot be bothered to do their jobs. It was complete and utter laziness on their part, and I have not received any sort of apology. Go anywhere else - I am absolutely astounded by how incompetent they are here. read more

This is the epitome of discourteous behavior and indifferent, apathetic "customer service" - if they've ever heard of such a word. The employees, the front desk personnel, the phlebotomists appear unhappy to be there and working, they give the impression that the patients who come in to draw their blood are nuisance. The lady with the balding head who checks people in consistently have a frown on her face. The phlebotomist, white guy with goatee, barks at people like they're animals. Labcorp's customer service has always sucked, but this place earns the right to be recognized as having the gold standard for apathy, non-existent customer service and self-absorbed employees.
