It took another five minutes to verify information. Because it was my little one getting blood work done, the phlebotomist called another colleague to hold down my kid's arm. They were both really nice, patient, and encouraging. My kiddo did great because of their help. The only tricky part is finding parking and the clinic itself. read more

I am hoping I don't jinx my future appointments, but I have been to this location twice and it's been pleasant. Quest sends a text with a link to check in, and I've always parked about 5 minutes until my appointment, walked in, then checked the board to make sure my name appears. My most recent appointment said my wait time was 13 minutes (it was fluctuating according to the others in the waiting area) and I waited about 5 minutes before my name was called. I was so elated when I walked into the room because Tiana was the nurse drawing my blood...and she also drew my blood the previous time! She makes the procedure quick and as painless as possible. If I could request her every time I need bloodwork done, I would - she's the best! read more

No morning appointments available for a week, so we arrived at opening time and were 2nd on standby list. Then the computer went down. 1 person at a time called back. They would leave and no one else called for another 15 minutes. One man finally demanded that they at least put out a clipboard for us to put our names on as the kiosk no longer worked and all the names disappeared from the screen. Not very HIPPA friendly but at least they would know who was here! At some point the kiosk began working again, but we only figured that out when someone came in and got the sign in to work. Suffice to say, all of the check-ins were out of order then. After an hour and a half and having people who were also on the standby who came much later than our list go ahead of us, we were finally called. The staff is nice. More people came in after 8 which helped get things moving again. Once we were back, we were in and out. I'm not upset with the staff there as the situation is not their fault. But I do feel that the parent company needs to pay attention to the level of demand in certain areas and plan accordingly. People need to be able to get warning appointments for fasting blood draws and sometimes people need an appointment. That's not a week away due to illness or Critical situations. This location is clearly too small and therefore understaffed. They also need to have options on the TV that aren't the same five rolling 30 second sound bites. An hour and a half of that will make you crazy. read more

I ran in to a bit of a problem with the order from my physician but thanks to Tiera and her excellent problem solving skills, patience, and expertise all was successfully resolved. I am a RN and work at the hospital downstairs from this horrendous place! I had an appointment but they were running more than 45 minutes late. Once back in the drawing station, Erika, the phlebotomist was extremely rude and wanted to collect a huge deductible for some simple, routine, inexpensive labs that my insurance has always repeatedly paid for. (and my deductible is always $25...not hundreds). An argument ensued and I had to leave for work. I did not get my labs drawn and I was late for work due to their inefficiency and inability to keep my appointment timely. Even the "sickness care" employees can't get what they need from this place. There is no one to call and no way to complain so I'm sure this behavior will continue. Stay away! I will be needing to find a labcorp or another company. Tell your physician you don't want to use quest labs. read more

Walked in to take a urine test because I had to go to the bathroom. 80 minute wait?!? I can't hold it that long! They need to get a better system for urine tests versus blood draws. Why make urine tests only wait that long?!? I get that I did not have an appointment, but this is really a joke. Waiting room is like a prison cell where no one will help you so I tried calling the number as I was waiting. No one there to answer. Not even an option to speak to someone. I also tried registering to get a container to go to get their attention. Guess I have to wait 80 minutes to do that too. Zero customer service. Very frustrating. I ended up leaving. My experience today was wonderful. Call me back for my appointment on time, however I forgot my paperwork. Luckily I live close by and the technician helping me let my husband go back home to get my paper work. So very kind of Tiara to sit and talk with me as we were waiting on my paper work. Beyond rude. The 1 star is for the sweet woman who ended up seeing my husband to do his lab work. We got there at 4:00 (we had just come from an appointment in the same building and it was recommended that we go ahead and get the lab work done that was requested) and it was packed- every chair full. We checked in at the kiosk where it said it would be a 30 minute wait and asked us if we wanted to wait in the Quest lobby or we could pick the option to be texted or called from the car. We chose the car option, but instead went out into the main lobby of the hospital to wait. After about 30 minutes, we decided to go ahead and head back to the actual quest waiting room because we had not heard anything yet. The second we walked in the door a woman stuck her head out and said we are closed. We attempted to explain that we had already gotten there and put our name on the list to which she replied that someone had physically called our name and gone out to look for us, but didn't see anything. We did not understand what she was talking about because we were sitting in the next closest chairs to the quest office and we had received no text or call. As we tried to further explain everything the woman took back another patient and closed the door in the middle of our explanation. Did not say if someone else would be coming out or what the plan was, but we were not leaving without an explanation. After about 10 minutes, another woman came out and agreed to take my husband back for his lab draw who my husband said was very kind. This woman said apparently the option for calling or texting was currently faulty or something to that extent which was in no way explained to us when we picked that option. Before we had even left the waiting room, the rude woman that we first encountered opened the door and shut off the lights. I'm not sure who this woman is but she should have absolutely no patient interaction, let alone human interaction. This person should be behind a computer where she does not have to speak to humans ever again because she is absolutely atrocious. This is coming from someone who also works in healthcare. If you don't like people then don't work with people. read more

I'm doing this review because most of the reviews for this place are horrible, so much so, that I tried to move the lab request to another (non quest) lab. It became too much trouble to get it changed so I decided to just bite the bullet. I booked an appointment online. I will say there were no appointments as soon as I wanted but I booked one a few days out. My apt was on a Tue at 10:30. I showed up 10 mins early and checked in on the kiosk. There were about 8-10 other people waiting so I thought I'd be in for a long wait. Nope, not at all. I was called back within 5 mins of checking in. In fact only one other person waiting got called before me. When she called me back she did tell the room she was going to take the waiting people (non apts) next and called out names to confirm who was still waiting. So I'm assuming none of the other people had apts. Once I went back she was quite nice, actually we struck up a conversation and she was very friendly. I usually have issues being stuck and usually require a "butterfly" but she had NO issues. She got the blood draw perfectly and took my insurance info & payment and I was done! It went about as smoothly as possible! NO issues at all! So I think maybe as long as you book your appointment online and show up on time then you'll have great luck. Horrible. No one picks up calls at the site. Disconnected from the "National" line 3 times and on the 4th call I couldn't hear her so she hung up. The fax number doesn't work or no one checks on lab test orders from Doctors because I showed up and they didn't have the order from the doctor's office TWICE. Oh and rudeness...what happened to their really nice staff? I've been using the same sight for several years and they were delightful. I am confused at all the negative reviews. Everyone was super polite and professional and quick. I made an appointment ahead of time, got there 10 minutes early, checked in on the kiosk in the room and was seen 2 minutes after my appointment time. When they asked what needed done I gave them the lab request that was given to me by my dr so they knew exactly what test was being done and I had both my id and insurance cards on hand. I was done and gone 20 minutes after I showed up. Great experience. Honestly I wonder if all the bad reviews were just people who were unprepared that blamed the workers. read more

Wow. Not sure where to start. Quest needs to hire more people, give them lunch breaks and have a better customer service model. I made an appointment. (For Frisco Quest inside Baylor Frisco warren/legacy) I got there 10 minutes early. I checked in via text. After an hour of waiting I looked at the Kiosk and it said I was more than 10 minutes late so to reschedule. I wish I could bold and underline this review to get my point across. I was told to look at my email and locate the barcode confimation. I did not have my computer with me. I found it as soon as I got home. They could have found a better way to deliver the message or work me in. They just let me sit there saying I must have input the wrong location. One tech left when I arrived (2:30) saying she was starving and had to get out of there to eat. I know making a profit is important, but to what extent? Hire more quality individuals. Your business is at risk. The other 2 tech's were emphasizing they were excepting appointments only. while looking at me. I got the hint. I am furious. I wont get that 1.5 hours back. This location has had a serious decline in quality of care. The staff lacks any compassion, customer service, or critical thinking ability. I had previously been here several times for labs and was able to walk-in and get seen without issues. This time, I walked in and they couldn't see me, so I scheduled an appointment for the next availability (several days later). I attempted to call to make sure my labs had been received but there's no way to do this as the number routes to an automated system and this can't be confirmed on the app. When I arrived, it said my appointment wasn't found and I would have to go on the standby list. This happened to THREE OTHER PATIENTS sitting in the lobby with me who have also been here at least twice trying to get labs drawn and their appointment was not found either or were refused due to waiting on the standby list and then being told there was no more time that day. It's impossible to speak to anyone about this and when they come out intermittently to take a patient to the back, they are rude and unhelpful saying you have to wait on standby. After waiting for an hour, I was finally taken back, only to be told they didn't have a lab order for me-- and that I had 5 minutes to get one. I was sent back to the lobby and got the order put in by the physician's office. When the phlebotomist came back out to get another client, I was told my window had now closed and that I'd have to get back on the waiting list. Upon protesting this, she was extremely rude and said "I told you you had 10 minutes and I can't do anything about it!" Baloney, how about don't put me back at the end of the line in a full waiting room when I did what you asked and you know I've been sitting here forever? I have now been sitting here for an hour and a half with no end in sight and you can hear laughing and cackling in the back. They continue to come call every other client and I'm still waiting here... I will never come here again given a choice and plan to submit a complaint to corporate. Update: After 2.5 hours, I'm finally out of there. Shantina was very kind and listened to my complaints. I learned that there are several issues at the corporate and IT levels that are causing this kind of chaos and the staff are unable to resolve the problems in the clinic and aren't being heard. They're also understaffed and have a lot of turnover due to employee frustration. She encouraged me to voice my complaints to corporate and gave me the number (as you can't find it anywhere online). She also stayed on the phone with me while trying to get the lab order issue fixed (again!) with my physician's office and it turns out it was a computer issue that couldn't be resolved but at least she didn't send me out to the waiting room like the other phlebotomist to sort it out and get kicked to the end of the line again. Shantina was wonderful and unfortunately it looks like the problems at this location (and others, apparently) are at the corporate level. Shantina should be promoted to management as she seems to be the only one here with compassion and concern for the clients and staff alike and the customer service skills that are terribly lacking in this company. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IT WAS TRAUMATIZING!Told technician beforehand I had a history of getting lightheaded. Apparently she was training another technician but was not notified of this. She was going into detail about my vessel and everything that could go wrong in front of me while training her. The one training was freaking out about putting needle in so she shouldn't even be doing this as a job. Then was swinging the needle around to the point the other technician was yelling put the cap on. I kept telling them I was going to pass out to which the trainer said no you aren't. I kept asking for a snack or juice but they said they didn't do that so they aren't liable in case someone has diabetes so they gave me water which I dumped on myself because I was passing out and couldn't hold it. Woke up 3 minutes later in a sweat to her asking where I went and she kept berating me for passing out and said I was gripping her with my legs like a slave when I was slumped over and passed out in chair. She kept saying if I didn't stop being light headed they would call ambulance as a punishment. Eventually they made me walk to rest area where I was still lightheaded because they would not provided snack or juice. My fiancé had to drive 40 minutes to pick me up because they said if I didn't hurry up and feel better they would call ambulance or put me to work as a janitor. I stumbled to waiting room and thankfully an elder lady went to get me a snack. On top of that they didn't have all the required materials I had already paid for for a stool collection so I would still have to go to another quest after all of this. I ended up spending over and hour and half here. I was sick the rest of the day because of the incompetence. read more

Extremely poor bedside manner and externally rude. Had a very poor experience with a recent visit. The wait time wasn't bad, we got lucky because when we left there were four people waiting. The African american lady was very difficult to talk to. She ignored all the questions. When asked about what type of needle they are using. She blew up and said "I am not going to teach you phlebotomy" with a very rude tone. Talk about informed consent. May be she was late for her ticktok dance. I made an appointment for 4pm for my daughter. When I arrived the waiting room was full. I checked her in at the automated kiosk on time. It told me that we had a 28 minute wait and gave us the option to text us when to come back in. My daughter and I waiting in our vehicle and I get the text at 4:27. We walked in and got to the door at 4:30. The door was locked. I knocked several times. Finally, another patient was exiting. I was walking in and the employee stopped me and said they were closed. I explained to her that we had an appointment and we checked in on time. I told her my daughters name. She did not look us up. She just said she don't remember that name. Then she said she has all these other people to get who were sitting in the waiting room. I asked when their appointments were and she proceeded to slam the door on me. I asked for her manager while trying to keep the door open so I could talk to her. She slammed the door. #1. This lady should be fired. #2. What is the point of scheduling appointments if you do not honor them. I cannot find the managers number to contact. Please provide me a number where I can speak for a manager or director. read more

Like so many others, I HATE to have blood drawn! I have had so many bad experience in the past. Painful jabs, stabbed all the way through my vein, multiple tries, and bruises literally the size of grapefruits. Have been to this lab several times and each was as pleasant of an experience as could possible be. Never waited more than 5 minutes for service. Staff always really nice and GENTLE - IMPORTANT! Yesterday, 5 vials in a snap, and can't even really see where the needle was inserted; very tiny bruise. My only negative is they used to give me a sticker when I left ("I'm Brave!"), but they don't have them anymore. :( Don't I at least get a sucker or something? read more

Have a broken femur and needed a blood test before surgery tomorrow morning. I am obviously in tremendous pain. Arrived at 4:20 after a trying day. Forgot my mask. Told assistant I needed to go down to my car to get it since they wouldn't give me one. She said fine but If I wasn't back by 4:30 they wouldn't see me. I have to visit Quest regularly for bloodwork as part of my insurance company's annual screening. It literally could not be simpler or smoother. They now have a digital check-in; I waited about 2 minutes from the time I punched in my name, didn't even have time to sit down to wait, before I was called back. The phlebotomist was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Listen, no one likes to get stuck with a needle or have to pee in a cup on command. There are better ways to spend a half hour of your life. But if you MUST, then certainly this is as professional and pleasant an experience as one could hope for. read more
