I have to visit Quest regularly for bloodwork as part of my insurance company's annual screening. It literally could not be simpler or smoother. They now have a digital check-in; I waited about 2 minutes from the time I punched in my name, didn't even have time to sit down to wait, before I was called back. The phlebotomist was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Listen, no one likes to get stuck with a needle or have to pee in a cup on command. There are better ways to spend a half hour of your life. But if you MUST, then certainly this is as professional and pleasant an experience as one could hope for. read more

Waited for 45min and I had an appointment then they erased my name off the board and said we called you name, which they did not I was right by the door. Made my appointment online, when I got with the employee I explain to him I need a butterfly needle because Is not easy to find a good vein, he said let me try one and if not work I will used the butterfly needle. Made the mistake of not checking the reviews before coming in. Did a walk in and waited for two hours. They purposely don't take walk-ins, even when it's not busy. I left after reading reviews that they'll ignore walk ins. Watched them be extremely rude and disrespectful to people coming in. They will get mad at you if you ask any sort of questions, or if you're literally just asking about information, etc. They were extremely rude to a man who came in just because he had an accent, even though everyone in the waiting room could understand him perfectly. After shutting the door in his face, you could loudly hear them angrily gossiping about him. They will loudly make fun of patients after they leave, to the point where everyone in the waiting room can hear them. Not to mention the things they talk about when making fun of said patients are completely unprofessional, and quite frankly violate HIPAA. It was very sad to watch. Watched an elderly couple come in, who knocked on the door because they were confused on how to use the kiosk, as it wasn't showing the check-in screen. The lady who opened the door snapped at them, told them to check in on the kiosk and that she was busy and didn't have time, and then shut the door in their faces. They walked out after that. Also overheard many people who had been waiting for hours despite having an appointment. You can tell they are very angry and miserable people. It's absolutely appalling that these reviews are being blatantly ignored and disregarded, as the same complaints are made year after year (about the same people too). Horrible environment created by mean, lazy, and unprofessional workers. DO NOT go to this quest location unless you're okay with being treated like crap. read more

Made an appointment online through their online appointment module. Checked in on time and turned to see my name had been checked in as a walk in with a wait time of 33 minutes. The waiting area was packed (so, no social distancing possible) so I stood at the check in counter waiting for someone to come to the window so I could show them I had a QR reservation code. After a 10 minute wait, I did speak to someone and explained that I had a reservation at 11:15, but their computer checked me in as a walk in. At that point, the screen in the waiting area showed a 23 minute waiting time for me. I continued to sit and wait until 11:40, at which time the screen showed a 25 minute wait for me. At that point, I walked out. I went back to my office at work and tried calling to speak to someone, but the entire system is automated. I'm immunocompromised and indicated that on their online reservation system. Standing in a crowded, standing room only waiting area is not an option. Customer service is poor, the automated check in process doesn't work well, and the automated phone appointment system is lengthy and not user friendly. read more

The lab technicians are nice, and prompt but they refuse to use butterflies when requested. I tend to bleed and hemorrhage. She stated that the basic needle works just as well (I can definitely disagree with her on that one since they jar the needle each time they add/remove a tube). I now have a bruise on my arm the size of my palm and a minor hemorrhage to the vein where she pierced the other side of the vein. I'm hoping this was just a bad tech and will be contacting the company to complain. I realize the cost of these is higher than the standard needle but patient safety should be a factor, not a detriment. read more

This place is managed so poorly. Just because one doesn't have an appointment and needed to be worked in due to doctor's orders - you can't keep pushing them down the waiting line. We've been here waiting patiently for an hour and there's a screen that tells us how many more minutes of wait time- and it really just kept on adding minutes to the wait time. Ridiculous! Doctor's office tried to call them but they said for us to just come. I hope there'll be another med lab that can beat your rotten service (and to think you deal with medical ) you can do better than treat patients this way. read more

Had a very good experience last week with my initial labs. Wonderful, professional and friendly technician. NOT today! Had to return to drop off a specimen and you knew right away this person did not want to be there let along show a happy and congenial face! I asked her if it was her first day with Quest and she said she's worked for them many years but this was her first day at the Frisco location. She should have stayed home. No manners, no professional faculties and surely is just a person who filled in but didn't want to be there for sure. Thanks for nothing! read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. On Friday, Sept 30 at 4 pm my 83-year-old mother left this facility in tears because the tech was rude and impatient with her. After bringing her specimen in she explained that she was to get blood drawn. The tech claimed that wasn't on the orders and told my mother to leave. My mother called her doctor from the waiting room and when she told the tech where the blood order was, she dismissed her. This was after my mother waited more than two hours to be seen. I went in to speak with the tech and could hear her being really nasty to someone. The young lady left and a gentleman stuck his head in to ask about his services and she was just as rude to him. I asked for her name and the name of her manager and she ignored me and refused to answer me. She is ill-mannered and should not be customer-facing. If she is an example of your services, we will be going somewhere else. It is inexcusable for someone to exhibit such horrible behavior with anyone, let alone an elderly woman. read more

These people are absolute morons. I had my doctor send up an appointment with them for a lab. The phone service says press 3 for an appointment. Every time I'd press 3 it would drop me. After fiddling around for about 20 min I contacted a representative and said I was trying to book an appointment. She said you can't book an appointment over the phone you have to go on line. I said then why do you and an option that says press 3 for an appointment? She said I don't know I didn't make the answering service. I'm done. If you can't get your answering service correct, and you staff your reps with idiots, you aren't touching my blood! read more

My experience has been no different than others, judging by other reviews. I walked in to find the waiting room completely full and no one at the reception desk. I stood there for five minutes, until the door opened and a woman called the next patient. She didn't acknowledge me in any way, and when I tried to get her attention to ask a question she told me she was busy. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Will go to CPL from now on. read more

This is not good facility to visit for Kids. Staff is not at all trained interpersonal skills, The nurse was making fun of my crying son while doing the blood draw. Also their system don't work well, we waited for 1 hr for appointment to show up in their system and had call 1800 number in spite of having appointment confirmation email. They appear to be super efficient when you are waiting to be called, and now I know why. If there is a problem, it is up to the patient to fix it. My lab forms were not there; I made, at least 4 phone calls to my oncologist to give them the information that the forms were not available. They said they were sent, but they would send them again. Hours and multiple calls later, I gave up. I guess I have been spoiled by the people in the other offices I have visited. I was not trying to take up their time but their attitude seemed to suggest that I was. My doctors office even called me to insure that the forms had been received several times. Each time I said ,"No," they tried again. There were at least two others with the same problem. They were still waiting when I left. Driving home it was clear to me that the problem was probably with their system, but they never apologized for any part they might have played in the delay. In fact it appeared that the issue was all mine and I had to handle it. I finally gave up and rescheduled my appointment with my doctor. He uses Quest, so I will try another one. They need a trouble shooter in that office who has time to handle glitches read more

These people are special - went to take drug screening at noon for a job and they literally had a sign saying that they ran out for the day. This is supposed to be a professional business that does regular drug screenings and are not properly stocked. Waited around for 10 minutes to talk to someone and nobody came to the window. Finally I walked up to the window and I could hear two ladies chatting the food they ate for lunch and I said excuse and a kid walks up to the window very rudely to tell me to sit - I mentioned the sign and he restated that they ran out and I would have to go to another location when I asked for their other location he again tells me to sit and he'll give to me later. I walked out. Unprofessional, rude and a waste of time. If you work for a company that uses them or are a company that's looking go to lab Corp much more professional read more

This was my second time visiting and I hoped for a different experience than the first. Unfortunately the staff continues to remain the same, rude. The nurse who took my blood was unprofessional and made my visit unpleasant. I almost think she purposefully made the needle hurt as I was getting my blood drawn because she was in such a bad mood. read more

I walked in needing my 11 year old daughters blood drawn. It was 10:30 when we checked in and was given a 45 minute wait time. We decided to wait in the car and they texted after an hour that they were ready for us to come in. We came in and then waited an additional hour. We continued to get passed over as they called people in. I simply made an inquiry to one of the technicians to make sure we were still on the list since we'd been waiting so long and I was told rudely that I'd just have to wait and that they closed for lunch in 5 minutes anyway as the door was shut in my face. Someone came out again and said we are closing for lunch and everyone had to leave. I couldn't believe how unprofessional and rude this office is. I would think that two hours would be plenty of time to get a simple sample of blood drawn. We ended up going to the Quest that afternoon in Richardson inside of Tom Thumb. They were terrific! I will never be going back to the Frisco location again. read more

I've been to this location twice and both times, the staff is rude. Better call the location your going to if your having a pre-employment drug urine test because the Frisco location doesn't do them any longer and the one in Plano on communications is done by three and the one in Carrollton at 3:30 and the one in McKinney 4:30. Why can't they have consistent times throughout their clinics? What a joke this place is! How they stay in business with arbitrary times and rude staff is beyond me! read more

If you are taking a child to get their blood drawn don't go to this location. They suck. The first time I took her she was 12 to old and they dug around in her arm for a long time while holding her down. She got the first tube of blood but then had trouble with the second the other lady in there with her was telling her it was the tube not that she had to start digging in my daughters arm again. She insisted that it wasn't the tube and kept digging in my daughters arm. Finally after the lady kept insisting that it was the tube she tried it and it was definitely the tube. Fast forward to today my daughter is 18 months old and is getting an allergy test we show up and they start searching her her veins they really couldn't find any good ones to begin with do they just pick an arm. They stick it in and start digging around. Like why would you even put her through that. They decide after 5 minutes to pull it out. They then tell me they are going to try the other arm. Heck no. I tell them no like I'll go somewhere else. She starts telling me that my daughter isn't hydrated and that her veins aren't showing cause she is dehydrated. She starts questioning when I last gave her water. Like you will not try and make it seem like I don't take care of my daughter. I tell her that my daughter drinks water nonstop and that she is also still breastfeeding. She said no you need to give her lots of water tomorrow night and in the morning and come back. Like no and you don't treat someone like that. read more

My 13 year old daughter came in today for blood work with a fasting requirement. They took 5 vials of blood for the testing. She was patched up and released immediately. When exiting the elevator to the main floor, she collapsed in my arms. I screamed for help and within seconds, hospital staff jumped in and assisted. They took her to the ER and gave her soda and cookies to stabilize her blood sugar. I am concerned that she wasn't held after that much blood was drawn. The technician was super nice and courteous but I think there should be more safety measures in place. read more

I tried to make an appointment on the app scheduling and it kept crashing on me. It would freeze up, and ultimately I gave up. I finally made an appointment via the voice scheduling, but then I needed to change it because my doctor wanted it sooner. I was totally unable to change the appointment, get another appointment, or get help on the app. Then I tried the phone voice scheduling and got the same result. It kept dropping my call. Next I tried to talk to a REAL person, and I got a recording saying that they were not currently taking any calls.This BS is totally disrespectful to the patient who desperately needs testing. I guess I just won't cancel my appointment, and it looks like I won't be able to make an appointment. I am frustrated beyond my limits. Does the patient not matter anymore? By the way, I would've chosen zero if it were an an option. I've just spent an hour trying to make an appointment, and I am so done! read more

Needed to make an appointment for some routine lab work. When using their phone-based appointment system, I kept getting a "technical difficulty" error. OK, no problem. Went to their web-based reservation system, It couldn't even identify this particular office. Getting upset now. Called the local number for the office. Recorded message indicating that appointments can't be made locally and I must call either the toll-free number or use the online system. Arrrrrrrrgh!!!!! read more

Disappointed. Will not ever go to this location again; consistently rude staff! Had an appt, showed up a few minutes early and logged into iPad with my confirmation code. It gave me a message with my coded name and said I was "checked in, please have a seat". Only 1 person ahead of me. Waited 20 min while they took four walk-Ins. Next time tech came out to call someone, told them I had checked in with appointment. They pointed to the board and said I wasn't checked in. I said I followed instructions on iPad and checked in with my confirmation code. Tech rudely said that those weren't her instructions and it never works if you check in with confirmation code, and I should have checked in with my phone number. She made me check in again which put me walk-in queue behind everyone else. Technical hiccups happen, but the rude treatment and attitude was out of line. These employees are the most hateful, lazy people I have ever seen. Husband had transplant surgery and has pleural effusion. Long difficult walk for him to get from car, into building, to third floor. Arrived at 7:20 am. While reading the sign on the door, which was full of misspellings, a hateful group of three walked up and their African American leader barked that we needed to go back to our car and check-in on their app and don't return until we receive a text from them. I related that I was reading the sign as my husband and I were snapped at again. "Go to your car! Go to your car!" We have been to this location multiple times and they are never even remotely pleasant and always with a nasty scowl upon their miserable faces. My belief is that they act this way so that you will never return and they will have less work to do. They have accomplished their goal! We will never return. And I blame corporate for allowing them to continue employment! They don't deserve a paycheck for their horrible treatment. Shame on Quest! read more

The employees have the absolute worst attitude. They lose faxed doctor's orders to perform tests and then they order the wrong tests even though the doctor's orders are specific as to what tests to run. I WILL NEVER USE QUEST AGAIN!!! read more

Is possible to leave zero stars. My experience have been horrible to say the least. They lost my sons information, when I call to get status about lab results they can't find him in the system. Called 6 times and the call end up being dropped after waiting 15 minutes. Talking to anyone on the other line was not helpful. It just added to my frustration level with no solution. I was really nervous going here because of the reviews but I didn't have a bad experience at all. I waited about 45 mins, which was expected and had a very nice conversation with my phlebotomist. There were a couple of people waiting who didn't have the correct paperwork or their doctor didn't send the orders so they left pissed off but other than that, it was uneventful. read more

This is a great facility. As phobic as i am about needles, these guys are the greatest. My doctor has a one-man Quest Lab at his office. I tried the guy who does the blood work and he really, really hurt me plus he was very unfriendly and his floor is not swept. I complained to my doctor and he said no one else is complaining. Finally, I gave him another try because it is so much more convenient and he did a great job, but the floor was still littered with bits and pieces. Thinking, he might have had a bad day before I told the doctor I was wrong. The next time I went back, I smiled at him and tried to talk to him and he was very stand offish and the prick was very painful again. That is it. I told my doctor and his nurse that I will never go there again. The nurse said that other people have complained that he runs hot and cold...friendly one day and very unfriendly the next and he is the same way with the people working in the office. What really got my doctor's attention was when I told him the floor was always messy. He said he would start paying attention. I will only go to the Warren Pkwy facility in the future. read more

I just got blood drawn a few days ago and have developed a bruise half the size of my palm ( about 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches)!!! When I called to ask about it they said it was " the suction of drawing blood". That sounds bogus to me especially when I had blood drawn a few days before that and I could hardly see any bruise. I don't like the feeling that they are trying to cover their mistakes. read more
