Incredibly rude front desk staff. Arrived at 11:47 to collect 2 labs. There were 2 people who walked in behind me. The front desk staff " you are all here to get labs- we close in 9 minutes ?" I had Michelle. She drew my blood with one stick of the needle/catheter very little bruising and she was super sweet and kind. The care and quality of service was a breath of fresh air! The online scheduling and checking in at the kiosk was super easy. Just don't forget your paperwork/Drs orders in the car lol. read more

The tech/phlebotomist was great, my labs were done in less than two minutes. I told her I have pots and am prone to passing out/throwing up, and she let me lie down during the draw. Had a good experience! read more

This is such unprofessional business front receptionist was so rude like she hates her job. They don't have translators so I had to translate for another Client while being a client my self. Mind you they're inside medical facility. I asked for some water they tried to make me drink water from faucet where they wash their hands. I had 3 vials of blood taken today at 9:15. I'm sorry but I didn't get the technicians name but they were excellent. I told the lady beforehand that I could possibly faint whilst having blood taken - it's happened before - and she asked me to lay on the bed instead. I was in this location today and Rita was a blessing. She and the rest of the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I had recent eye surgery and I was struggling with the electric sing in. She instantly helped me and was kind to me. She did a great job. Got me right in and even drew my bloodwork herself. GREAT JOB! Give them a raise. read more

I have had the unfortunate luck to have ever met the nurse/phlebotomist, whatever you want to call her, Naomi who works at the Labcorp next to Medical City, in McKinney. First, she definitely broke a bunch of HIPPA policies when it comes to drawing a person's blood. For example, not even verifying my name or DOB before drawing my blood, not writing my name correctly on my urine cup, when even after I have told her that my last name was spelled incorrectly. Instead, she said: "oh, it's okay, I'm going to go get it right after anyways." Um, okay....then the icing on the top, she wrapped the rubber band around my arm, felt for a vein for like 0.5 secs, I wouldn't even consider it 5 secs, practically jabbed the needle through my skin, missed my vein by a whole lot because she then started moving the needle around to try to find the vein. I literally yelled, "ow, ow, ow!" I have gotten my blood drawn multiple times throughout my life, and have never experienced anything like this. It is almost comparable to medical negligence when she started moving the needle in my vein for about 10 secs, way longer than she took to try to find my vein before she jabbed it with the needle. Then finally, after saying ow, a bunch of times, Naomi finally says, do you want me to restart? Um, yeah duhh, it freakin hurts! I'm usually not a rude person and I try to always be nice to health care providers since I know how much they do, but Naomi, Naomi, Naomi, you're really one of the reason why some people have such negative views of the healthcare field. It's because of your unapologetic attitude that I'm writing this review to let everyone know to never ever come get their blood drawn there. This is my first time getting my labs from LabCorp and will definitely be my last. If I have to pay more or drive more to Quest so be it. I'll have better service and workers who will treat me more like a human being. Also, Naomi, if you're not passionate about your job anymore, please do us all a favor and just quit and stop working in a field where you have to interact with other humans. If I can give this place a 0 stars I would. Everyone please be mindful and please read the ratings on this site as they do mean something. Also, another HIPPA violation: there was already a cup of urine placed on the tray with their last name and first initial of their first name on the top of the lid, along with their full last and first name on the side of the cup. I definitely know that was a breach of HIPPA. I then went to place my pee cup almost right next to it as that was the instruction. If you don't want to not get stuck in litigations, I suggest you look into fixing this process in that lab. read more

I brought my son in this morning for bloodwork. I let the staff know that he was living with ASD. Dorthy and Yasmin took great care of us and supporting him through the process ! They tell you not to be more late for your appointment and then run 30 minutes late. They schedule too many people for the same time. They are understaffed and the front desk person is surly and irritable. They tell you to checkin electronically but the checkin scanner isn't working. I checked in using the link in the email they sent me. It apparently did not work or they do not pay attention to it. I was told to wait comfortably elsewhere, but when the time came from my appointment, I had not heard from them. So I went to their office. They didn't have a record that I had checked in. Thankfully, the phlebotomist was terrific. read more

Difficult to locate within the hospital ( no signs and gps gives a general location) and Impersonal. I would not recommend. The window remained closed except when calling a patient, giving a less than friendly vibe. read more

On June 5,2024 at 4:40pm went in there to do a simple blood work. This woman comes out black woman with braids in her hair and her approach was. Do you have an appointment? If I could give less than one star I would, everybody who works here has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE what so ever. Ashley is the nicest one in there and you only get to see her for two seconds, every one else in there is a class A ROYAL A**HOLE. This laboratory is located within Medical Center of McKinney on the 2nd floor. Parking is limited. This place has the most apathetic employees I have yet to come across. I have never seen this much laziness in one place. Specifically, within a medical facility! From the way they (never)greet a patient to the process of asking the client to provide a sample. It's horrible. Just appalling that patients come here for outpatient services and are treated with so much disrespect. The majority were the elderly. This was my observation as I waited my turn. I needed to supply a urine sample for a job related injury. The tech just mumbles, and grunts, wash your hands. Well there's no soap first off and the area is dirty. I have to walk to another nasty area to wash my hands. He hands me a cup, mumbles fill it to here. Never even looks at me. This dirty nasty bathroom only has a toilet. The toilet seat is filthy. I'm cringing. No toilet paper either that's just cruel. How the hell am I going to manage this and pee in a cup the size of a test tube? He takes my sample. I gotta wash my hands but I'm not leaving my pee till I know it's sealed. As to avoid any issues with chain of command, since other people's samples are sitting their too. I'm by that dirty sink that has no soap or paper towels. I feel dirty and gross. This place needs to be shut down. I'm sure there has got to be some type of health code violation. What a crappy place this is. If you ever need to have labs done steer clear. I have never been surrounded by such unprofessional employees and filthiness. I have just received my Medicare statement and have an April 15, 2023 charge to Medicare for a "non-prescription self-administered and self-collected" covid-19 test. 1. I have never tested for covid. 2. I live in Connecticut. 3. In the same Medicare statement there was another charge for covid-19 test from another Texas lab, Lone Star Medlab in Plano. SCAMS. They have a kiosk that says check in here and a clipboard on the front. They expect people to know to sign in themselves and sort the line out for themselves. It says max 4 in the office. Yeah right! Bad experience. Had an appointment at 10 o'clock. At 10:20 went to window and said I have appointment. Was told to sit down and wait. The person at the window was apparently coding paperwork. No blood draws were called to the back. At 10:30 went to window and the clerk there was rude very rude. We left and went up 1 floor to Quest -- within 15 minutes was taken and finished. That was without an appointment. I will be going to Quest from now on. read more

Limited seating in small office but they want you to social distance. Area in need of a thorough cleaning. Staff is rude and uncaring. This review is for the Labcorp at 1871 Harroun Ave Ste 300, McKinney, TX 75069. My doctor sent the paperwork ahead so I made an appointment online. Once I arrived the phlebotomist informed me my paperwork wasn't there to try the other location off of highway 380. With the lack of address I had to google to find the address. Once I arrived my paperwork was there I didn't have an appointment but the phlebotomist got me in and out fast without a attitude. I highly recommend the Labcorp on 1871 Harroun Ave. read more

Terrible Service!!! They do not answer the phone nor do they return phone calls. I've left several voicemails explaining the situation on why I need to talk to them, and crickets. If I was the CEO, I would look into the operation of this center and perhaps replacing the employees with higher grade of staff. If I could give 0 stars I would have! I tried to call twice before I went in to make sure that they had received my doctor's orders. But, after going through all of the automated prompts to talk to a person the phone rang several times then disconnected. So, I just went to the lab...luckily they had received my doctor's orders. While I was there I discovered why my phone calls were just disconnected! The person sitting at the desk, right by the phone, was too busy watching videos on his cell phone to pick up the ringing phone! Terrible service!! read more

This is the worst place you could come to get lab work especially if you are elderly. The staff of One is unfriendly, does not take the time to explain or direct the patients to what they need to do to sign in. This place is understaffed. I'll stop my medically needed medication that requires labs if I'm required to endure this place ever again. I've been here 3 times on 3 different days and the staff here are just rude- to EVERYONE. Not even personally to me (just short- and treated like I'm barely a person) but I'm posting this based on observed interaction with the young, old, well, sick and the handicap- at least they don't discriminate.
