Okay folks! I agree quest diagnostics is not the greatest place to get your blood drawn. As we came here after a horrible experience at their Allen location. At the Allen location they made me wait 10min before somebody comes out to let me know that my appointment has been cancelled. I came here in hope it would be a little better and more professional as I didn't have the time to ask our pediatrician to change the provider for the blood tests that needed to be done. With low expectations and just hoping that my child can get through the blood tests. I was so thankful that we had a very compassionate and caring technician who kept my child busy by asking and talking with him. Even trying to make him laugh while drawing blood. It took awhile to find a good vein and the entire process took awhile as our pediatrician needed to get several tests done. Because of this wonderful lady my child was able to sit still. She even held his hands. Best place ever! And yes I'll be always coming here for any testing!!! read more

The phlebotomist (I believe his name was Dan) was incredibly nice and made the blood draw the least painful I've ever had. I can't imagine many people actually enjoy blood draws, but if you have to have one, I would ask for him every time. He was funny and made sure I was comfortable. read more

I had a great experience. I was concerned reading the other reviews but the staff were pleasant, quick and efficient!

I arrived today at my appointment time. Just a few minutes after I sat down, a young woman came to the door and said that they have been running behind and appointments would be at least a 40 minute wait. The employee, Ciera, gave information about a nearby The Quest lab that had no waiting for those that did not have an appointment. Several people left to try to get in quicker at the other location. Ciera went out of her way to provide address, and information to those that could leave. She also encourage those that could not that the staff would be with them as soon as possible. I was a little bit frustrated because I did make an appointment. But I did not have to wait 40 minutes. I waited about 15 before I was called back for my blood draw. Ciera was professional, helpful, and compassionate. She actually got me on the first stick, which doesn't usually happen. She looked at my veins and chose to use a smaller needle and I was in and out of the blood draw in five minutes. Not sure who is her manager, but she was amazing. It is a terrible place! The service sucks. They check you in sometimes by name sometimes by number. But on the screen only shows your name. They tried three time on my both arms but not get the jobs done and then ask me to make another appointment for the blood work. Remember never come back again. I have been familiar with quest diagnostics for years because basically we do it to work they send you in for drug testing blah blah blah quest is a is one of the services that they send you to and I've never had any problems but this is back in Los Angeles, Texas I'm finding it's a bit different. So my doctor says winter quest and this past Friday says I'll go ahead you can just go so I said okay fine I'll go with I didn't have an appointment so I left because there were people still coming in and it dawned on me best to have an appointment. So I get up this morning make an appointment for 10:30 I have a confirmation number so I get here at 10:15 check in on the board sitting wait now after I check in there's a young lady who checks in behind me a lot of people in the waiting room already so I figure hey you know all these people have appointments I'm going to wait behind them I said about seven or eight so lady comes out cause the guy's name last name Hall I said hell so she checks nope not me okay no problem I said to myself. 10:45 rolls around and they call the woman that checked in after me now I'm all for old ladies first total for that however I asked the gentleman I said excuse me sir I have a 10:30 appointment and nobody's called me and so the lady comes out and she asks and she goes and checked and she says well we don't have you on the system you're going to have to check in at the kiosk I said well ma'am I have a confirmation number I've checked the kiosk I'm sorry you're going to have to check in I left now I appreciate her she was professional and polite, however I don't get when you have a confirmation number why you have to check it again why not look at my confirmation number even if it's not in your system I could have made up that number I pulled it out of thin air and why should I have to sign in again and probably have to wait behind four of the people by this time it's almost 11:00 I have things to do like everybody else in there which is why I made an appointment so yeah Texas have been different I'm going to pay in my confirmation number here so if they see this on Yelp the review at this one here this clinical location and building a I'm not exactly what happens camper it's just total waste of my time. read more

A very surly women came out to tell me they could not see me until 30 minutes before my appointment. I explained to the person, there were only 2 people in the office. She looked at me and said I just came out to tell you we can't see you until 30 minutes... not helpful, no reason, just surly bad service. Vehicle #12201 first 3 of the plate are MHW as of 4/29/22 at 1:40pm was driving reckless all over Dallas. This individual was speeding 25 over the posted limit, changing lanes and swerving in an out of traffic with no signals, was on his phone, and had zero regard for the people on the road. I call to report and get on hold for 15 minutes to be transferred to a voicemail that is full, I call back and then get hung up on, then I talk to Valerie A. #3127887 and she states she cannot do anything per her supervisor Lori via "quick connect chat" and is told to forward me to the same number with a full voicemail. Lori told Valerie to send me to a source that verifiably cannot help me and will not even be scrollable to leave a voicemail. I know the diagnostic company I will never give business too. read more

Terrible experience. Lab techs were extremely rude and the tall white guy was an absolute jerk. I will never come back to this location.

They couldn't recieve the order from my doctor through fax even though the doctor had a confirmation of delivery. The staff had no idea how orders came in and couldn't do anything to diagnose. Fair enough, its not their job. Too bad they replaced the front desk with an iPad. There was an old guy, one foot in the grave, which had a similar issue. And they turned him down as well, in which, in his fasted state, he was sent away to go back to the doctors office. Train your staff, hire a front desk person, fix your shit. read more

This location is hit or miss. It honestly just depends on what phlebotomist calls you back for your blood draw. I've had both good and bad experiences here but it's the closet location to work, so. Made a prepaid appointment for noon - showed up on time and signed in. Almost immediately, my name shows up on the electronic bulletin board showing I'll be seen in 2 minutes. Approximately 8 minuted go by and a nurse sticks her head in the waiting room looking at me and saying " your next " . Approximately 3 minutes more and my name disappears on the appointment electronic board. I ask 3 different nurses what happened to my nmae on the board and the appointment - no response. 10 minutes later I actually stood in a nurse's way to stop them long enough to explain my situation. They disappear then come back and tell me they have no record of me having an appointment. Now, I have an appointment number I received when I made the appointment plus it later shows my appointment was prepaid. I was told to make a " walk in " appointment on the sign in board if I wanted to be seen. Was it incompetence or did the attending nurse didn't want to draw my blood because I was there for an STD test ? ( later confirmed negative but I wanted to feel safe ) No one should be treated like second hand no interest when they collect payment from patients ! read more

We had an appointment first thing this morning After we checked in the attendant told us they were running behind on appointments and walkins were more than an hour to wait. They have messed up insurance and billing info and cause multiple delays. Our tests are needed to avert detremental affects of harsh meds. Stop treating drug tests for employment before doctors orders. This place has no client or doctor respect. read more

The employees here have horrible attitudes. I scheduled an appointment online for a specific screening for my son and came in at the designated time. The nurse argued with me that they don't do that screening. I explained to her it was an option for scheduling online and she told me I was wrong. I told her I'd be happy to pull up my confirmation and show her. She proceeded to tell me not to bother and that I probably read it wrong. At that point I was just over her so I walked out. Had a great visit, plenty of staff to take care of people. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes. Large waiting room with TV. Easy checking process. My doctor was super friendly. Pros: the facility is nice and clean Cons: I made an appointment and showed up at 7:15am for some bloodwork that needed to be taken as early as possible. I wasn't taken back until 7:25. By 8:00 the tech who took me back hadn't finished typing the tests in at the computer. Then they said they needed me to come back because they couldn't figure out one of the tests. At that point I asked for my paperwork back and left. There was little response to me leaving, meaning they certainly didn't value my time or care. I had to wake up early to drive across town to this location as they had the earliest appointment. They open at 7 and were already behind. It was a massive waste of my time and made me late 20 minutes late for work. The level of incompetence at this location is staggering. If you value your time even a little bit go anywhere else. EDIT: I reached out to my insurance and found I could get bloodwork done at any covered hospital or urgent care. Check with your provider for other options available to you. read more

I have always had great experiences here. I make an appointment in advance, and typically only wait 5-10 minutes to be welcomed in. You can even check in and then wait outside or in your car until your name is called (they text you). The phlebotomists are phenomenal - blood draws are always pain-free and easy, and they are super professional. Most recently I had Farshad draw my blood and he was fantastic. read more

This place is GARBAGE!!! I came here for a physical for my life insurance . I walk into the office and you are to check in through a free standing iPad. I needed help because I did not see the option here I needed. No one is paying attention to who is walking In or if customers need help. Everyone is in the back huddled up talking to each other.. we can also see and hear them talking... i was the first to enter the lobby now there are a total of 6 people waiting to be seen and we have been here 20 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement. An older gentleman has walked in and is very confused as to how to register . Again, no one is around to help. We ( us in the lobby) have had to show him how to do So. 20 minutes later there are a total of 15 people in the lobby and not one person has come out to greet us. read more

I've come to this location before and my previous visits were always great. I always had the technician on the far right took my blood and he did an excellent job. This time however, the man on the second right took mine and it was a disaster. Went in on 4/21. The tech didn't have his mask on until he finally put the needle in my arm. He talked to me without a mask on, put the rubber band around my arm and sanitize my arm without wearing gloves. Come on, what kind of times are we in now. Even your staff told patients to put gloves on before walking into this facility. Next when he finally cared to put on the gloves and put the needle in my arm, he hit my nerve. I get that it may happen but he didn't even care to palpate before sticking the needle in. After he got the blood he simply told me to leave. I asked him, didn't you need me to check my name my birthday on the labels? He said, oh I thought I already did that. No you didn't. My arm is now feeling funny and I hope it will only be a temporary thing. You should really retrain this tech or let him go. Not professional at all. read more

I made an appointment because I have a very sick dog at home and had only a limited time to get my errands done;I am now not able to make the third to pay a bill:giving me massive anxiety, because I set an appt up with that office to pay, today. I have been here almost an hour and they have now pulled in several people who came in after me. They are short staffed-I get it but taking other patients who came in 30 minutes after me is an issue. I signed into the kiosk so, so far, my only interaction is with the phlebotomist who is one of two. They assure me they will be with me in a bit. Very agitated. The phlebotomist just came out and asked my name and said there was no appointment. Maybe having a live person check you in is a good idea after all. DEPITE THE SNAFU, STAFF:my PHLEBOTOMIST WAS SUPER SUPER NICE AND APOLOGIZED SEVERAL TIMES and was VERY PROFESSIONAL and courteous. Today I went to get my blood drawn at this location. I arrived in the best of moods and said hello to the lady working this morning. She told me to go in without welcoming, I let it slide as I knew she was probably busy. I had just taken a shower so I had lotion on, she yelled at me "did you grease your arm?" I replied by telling her I had just showered and had put lotion on, she yelled at me as if I was a kid saying I shouldn't put lotion on because it was bad. This was not an advice, as she repeatedly said it with an attitude and was simply rude. She made me feel unwelcome and as if I was an inconvenience to her workday. I have bee to the Allen location and let me advice you to make the extra drive there instead of this location. I will not come back even though I live around the corner. read more

I would give zero stars. Was seen by Alexis. She is extremely rude. Doesn't know what she is doing. Zero customer service. First she couldn't locate my order so she had me call my doctor back. When I came back to sit down my order was right in front of her. She then told me she couldn't read the order and demanded I call my dr again. While on the phone with the dr. Alexis had her supervisor come to her at the computer and verified what to order on the screen. Then told me to hang up the phone. Third I told Alexis I didn't want to be stuck in my AC bc I already had many bruises from the hospital. She scuffed and got an attitude with me bc I requested my hand. I arrived to this location as a walk in at 3:30 pm. They close at 4:30 pm. I waited 45 minutes and at 4:15 pm the phlebotomist or receptionist came out and told everyone in the waiting room that those without an appointment would not be able to be seen ( with a horrible attitude ) They are unprofessional and rude and do not care about your time or your health. I don't understand how they're still in business with the horribly rude staff. Never going there again. read more

I would give a zero if I could. Had to return 3 times because they lost my labs, or didn't draw enough to run the labs the doctor had ordered. Every time I made an appointment, and walk-ins or people checking in after me were all taken before me. Terribly run and asking my doctor to send me to a new lab moving forward. Don't go here.... My wife went today, 4/26, for a blood draw. She has never had an issue having blood draw as she has easy to locate veins. But unfortunately today was a hack job. The phlebotomists seemed very rushed and completely unconcerned with patient care. She also may be inexperienced or poorly skilled. She didn't take much time to find a vein and instead rushed in with the needle. When she didn't get the vein, she began twisting the needle. When that didn't work she pushed the needle in deeper. Next she began twisting and pushing the needle in deeper, all the while to unnecessary pain and bruising. Finally, she withdrew the needle and tried again, this time successfully. Our family will not be returning to Quest. While I've had good experiences at other Quest locations, they do not offer a consistent level of care and skill. read more

I scheduled online, checked in at the digital qiosk with the QR code sent to me via email. Waited five mins max to be called back. The TV screen in the waiting room lists the person next in line. Was called back and had a pretty good (as good as you can) experience with the gentleman drawing my blood. It was all done with ten or fifteen minutes. Then I was on my way. read more
