Came here about two weeks ago. Pretty cool place. I love authentic Mexican food and this place delivers just that. Love the table side guacamole I feel that makes this type of place more authentic and less of the text mix feel. The food and service was good. The gentleman who waited on our table was attentive and an excellent waiter. The problem was the management We had a coupon for $10 off any bill $55 or more. They refused to honor the coupon, stating it cannot be combined with other offers. They considered the happy hour time frame we went as an offer. This was not stated on the coupon. We won't come back. I believe if you put out a coupon you should honor it. I wish I read the reviews before coming to this restaurant. I see someone else noted a similar complaint about this restaurant not honoring their Val U PAC coupons. read more

Both visits they messed up our orders and the servers always seems uninterested or like they don't actually care. Great service, not so great food. It was busy but we were still seated quickly. I love the salsa. I had the street steak tacos and they were so dry. I love street tacos but I had to use all the salsa. Not at all what I was expecting. My husband has the gordo burrito. He only ate half of it and was done. He didn't love it. They seem to have a good happy hour. Their house margaritas were decent, but just not really memorable. Maybe it was just a busy night, but the service was great, so I don't know what was going on with the food. My family and I are frequent customers of this restaurant. The food is always fresh, hot and extremely good. The staff goes out of their way to welcome us and treats our children like gold. We love coming here and are so thankful that they survived the pandemic! And a side note, in response to a nasty review on here from 6/1, regarding the margaritas, and the manager wanting to call the police on the customer, my family was there dining that evening as well. Please note that the customer was extremely belligerent, failed to read the signs posted literally everywhere that showed which drinks were for happy hour and repeatedly got in staff members faces in a threatening manner, which then, prompted a calm manager to ask them to leave or call the police. Their loud and rude behavior was the only negative part of the entire experience and once the trash was gone, the rest of the meal was extremely enjoyable! So this location has recently opened. My family & I went there for takeout to check it out. We ordered a variety of food. Appetizers: Chicken wings (mild); Beef taco salad; Grande Special; Street Tacos (Carne Asada). My daughter really liked the chicken wings, but who can really mess up frozen breaded chicken wings? You just deep fry them, and voila, you got chicken wings! My daughter loves authentic mexican tacos, but she didn't love these. She said the meat was SUPER DRY and she couldnt eat them. The Taco salad & the grande special was nothing to write home about. The ground beef was SUPER SALTY! I could barely eat it. The grande is a lot of food, but that also means A LOT OF SALTINESS in your mouth. Nope can do, I appreciate my health a lot more. There are other better Mexican restaurants in the area. Also my daughter & I didn't care for the white sauce for the tortilla chips. If you like sweet stuff then maybe you will like it. They call it the "white sauce" for the chips. read more

I am a big fan of this restaurant. I was so happy they opened another location so close to me! The chips and salsa are always on point. I'm not a big fan of the white sauce. My absolute favorite part is the table side guacamole! It is amazing. So fresh. We get it every time. My favorite thing to order is the chicken and black bean quesadilla. SO YUMMY! We are always so satisfied with our meals. This location does need some work. We only saw our waitress twice. I never got a refill on my drink and we were done for quite a while before we were able to get the check. But I have faith that once they work out the kinks everything will run smoothly. My new favorite Mexican restaurant. I have been here twice for lunch and excellent food and service both times. I had the Pollo Loco with Chorizo both times. I can't seem to pass it up to try something else. The dish is delicious. A lot of food for $12.50. You won't go home hungry. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food passing me by going to other patrons looked wonderful. Someone passing by my table asked what I was eating, it looked so good, she said. I told her, she ordered it and after her food came she turned and gave me a thumbs up and a smile. Someone complained about the cheap furniture! Really! How can hand carved and hand painted booths and tables be cheap! Get a life. Go somewhere else and eat okay food while we continue to enjoy this nice restaurant with their delicious food. We've been here twice and the food was awesome both times. The food pricing is really cheap compared to other Mexican spots around the area and Annapolis. The interior is decorated really nice with Mexican motif and the servers are great. Went for dinner today after driving by a bunch of times and seeing that it's busy. We were able to get a booth right away. Chips and salsa were fine. We got the Jalisco sampler app and fajitas, combo dinner and kids meals. Nothing was offensively bad, but there wasn't a single thing that tasted like it was fresh or homemade. Appetizers tasted like they came right out of a Sysco bag into the fryer. All the beef dishes were oily/watery and the kids burrito was served with what tasted like spaghetti sauce with a pinch of Tex-Mex seasoning. Nice decor inside, but calling this "authentic" anything isn't accurate. Again, not terrible or inedible, but not the least bit enjoyable either. Probably won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Service was great... very friendly; but food was bland. Margaritas are NOT up to par. House tequila is montezuma... that's about $2 for a gallon and it's awful. No Mexican restaurant should serve a margarita made from margarita mix! Authentic should come from fresh limes and agave. I ordered the patron margarita, but it was so warm it quickly melted the ice in my glass. To me, a good margarita is the best part of a Mexican dining experience, and this place lacks that.
