I don't recall what item she got, but I always kept it in the back of my mind. I am rarely in this area. One of my best friends just moved nearby with his wife, and my girlfriend and I were hungry after visiting. On the way to another spot, I spotted it and we agreed to give it a try. There were some nice tables outside, but we decided to sit at the bar once we checked in at the host stand. At the time, there were only two empty ones on the end, but the people next to us soon left. There was a phone charging right in front of where I was sitting, it wasn't long before the guy belonged to politely unplugged it and said that we could use the charger if we needed to. I'm guessing he was the owner. We got menus I looked over what we might have wanted. I was a little surprised by how expensive the tacos were, I was like geez we're not even in DC haha. The drinks were first. They have a variety of margaritas, and I opted for the spicy hibiscus and it was fantastic. My girlfriend got the mezcal brandy one which was very strong. For food, I was debating between crab shrimp and mole enchiladas. I usually don't get them because I find them too cheesy (as a pizza lover, I know). But I was feeling adventurous. The lady said to try the seafood ones, so I did. That sauce was immaculate. I haven't had a lot of enchiladas, but I do know that these were the best I have had to date. We shared taquitos too which were good. Yeah, based on this experience I would definitely come back. I recommend it to anyone in the area too!

It's a small place compared to a few of the larger places in our area, but that's just fine. This restaurant is worthy of your time! I was looking for something out of the norm and I was not disappointed! From the moment we walked into this lively restaurant to the wonderful aromas, we knew this was going to be a stellar experience! We were greeted promptly and told we could pick a table. We were promptly brought menus and asked for what drinks we wanted. I opted for a Tropical Pina Margarita and hubby got Sandia Chile Margarita. Came very quick and we liked them so much we got another. We could have stopped at the house made salsa that had a smoky flavor and didn't look like it was poured from a jar in the back. The chips were outstanding. We opted to get some queso dip and it was just as good! Better than any other place we have had it. For dinner, my hubby opted for the Cameron Tacos on corn tortillas as he is a celiac. He remarked that it was the first time that he had corn tacos that were *solid*-meaning the taco stayed in shape and didn't fall apart while eating. The slaw was crispy, not overpowering, the pico de gallo was spicy, but not in the burn your tongue sense. He also liked the accompanying black beans and rice. I had Michelin Tacos. The first bite of mine was a bacon wrapped shrimp in a flour taco with a very pleasing sauce. The second one I had was chicken and it was just amazing. Nice slices of chicken with a pretty spicy sauce. Since I'm a big fan of spicy, this was amazing! The last one was steak, and I mean a nice piece of steak! Very tender, not overcooked! I couldn't tell you my favorite, because they were all equally delicious. Juan took very good care of us! Great evening and we will most certainly be back! To all of you that may like the *larger restaurants* on Ritchie Highway, please do yourself a favor and seek one of these stores out! We live closest to the Severna Park location, but all the stores seem to get good feedback! This is so out of the ordinary and definitely worthy of your time!

They handed me this thing off chips with salsa that was enough for five regular people or two Joshuas. The chips were good, fresh, slightly warm. The salsa was fantastic, though a little cilantro forward for someone who thinks it's soap. I ordered a chicken chimichanga for my main. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what came out qualifies as a chimichanga -- it wasn't deeply fried (or baked), and was covered with a cheese sauce like a smothered burrito. Maybe someone sent me the wrong thing? I don't bite. But, it was delicious. The sauce actually greatly complemented everything, and it was evenly seasoned. I'll definitely be back the next time I pass that way.

The carnitas were spiced perfectly and were moist and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The ground beef was, as well. The vegetables in both dishes - lettuce, onion, tomato, jalapeño - were fresh as can be. DGD enjoyed a strawberry Jarisco, while I stuck with water. The reason we held back from gorging on this feast was a planned stop at Coldstone after ;) Service was excellent, food was delicious. About a 1-1.5: Sorry, Taqueria El Primo, it's all you, not me…read more We made the trek to check this taco truck out, seeing that they had some great reviews, especially for their birria that's served on the weekends. Their menu offers various tacos, American-style tacos, grilled entrees, tortas, and even kid options. We ordered: +an order of tacos - I liked that they allowed you to mix-and-match, which was nice; we had 2 of the Asada and 2 of the Pollo +an order of birria - you can ask for a taco version or a quesabirria version, in which we opted for the taco version +guava juice - generous pour in the container, but this was super watered down/diluted The chicken tacos were pretty inedible - honestly, it was one of the worst chicken tacos we've ever had from a food truck. The chicken just had an off-putting taste to them, but also that they were super bland and had a weird texture. The carne asada was okay, but it could have used more seasoning. The tortillas that were used were dried out, so we weren't fans of those and sort of picked the pieces of meat out. The birria, on the other hand, was okay, but the consommé had a pungent odor to it, so I was not a fan of that. We also noticed that, even when we were super clear when ordering that we didn't want any cilantro (isin cilantro!) on either the birria or the tacos, and didn't want any cheese on the birria when asked, those were not honored; the tacos were heavily dressed with the cilantro, and the birria had cheese at the bottom and on the exterior of the shells. The red salsa is super spicy, and spice fiends would probably enjoy it. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and there are a few picnic tables set up for those who'd want to eat al fresco. Most seem to get their orders to go. I just wished I had the same or similar delicious experience others have had with Taqueria El Primo, but no dice. Located at the Sunoco station, there are some spots available to park; just watch out for broken pieces of glass that can found all over. +avoid the chicken tacos! +consommé has a pungent odor to it +inaccurate orders/customizations +friendly staff +at the Sunoco gas station
