    Barbacoa / Mexican BBQ

i moved from california and i've been looking for a good taco truck near me. i really was just looking for authentic tacos (didn't want them american-ified lol).. and this hit the spot. the steak was really delicious and the salsa was good. the service was quick too - i got my food in less than 10 mins. i will be coming back!

I've driven by here a hundred times and never seen this place.

Absolutely outstanding!! Their tacos al pastor and carnitas tacos were fantastic. I'm really like that they use one tortilla instead of two for each taco. I can't believe I've driven by this place a hundred times and missed it. This is my new go-to place for tacos!!

Overall the food is not bad. I went with the carne asada tacos and you get three for a little over $8. Compared to other taco stands/trucks this is a bit steep but I guess since it is near Waugh Chapel it is justified. Sarcasm right there. The menu is small mainly consisting of tacos, so pas, and burritos. I mentioned a bit earlier that I went with the carne asada tacos. They were cooked nicely and very tender. At times the meat can be tough at some places but not the case here. Very flavorful with the right amount of seasoning and of course cilantro on top. Yes I gave it three stars despit having good food but I think it is a bit overpriced for you get. I will also tell you that if you decide to come here the only way to get here is the entrance/exit on 3 North. At certain times of the day it is crowded and you will wait a minute to make that left turn. Keep on the lookout as this place can easily be missed.

    Hands down

If you gave them less then 5 stars your mother raised you wrong. I drive an hour just for these tacos.

This is the way God intended food trucks to be: cheap, satisfying and fresh. And dare I breathe the word, authentic. When one is reminded of what good food is, that overpriced, artisanal crap that winds up costing $14 is left in the wayside's of ones mind. I got the #1 like everyone suggested; it was overflowing with pork, almost too much for the tortilla to pocket. I asked for extra radish and they delivered (see pic). The cucumber is a nice surprise, as it soaks up the grease. Super flavorful bites. Left off one star because it was a little too salty for my taste, but overall a satisfying meal, especially for $9.00! There's a covered area with two picnic tables, if you can't wait to get home. Btw, wait for the lull in traffic or you might kill yourself trying to pull out of the parking lot!

Nice people, quick service, savory, clean place! I got carnitas, barbacoa (those two were my fav) & asada. Took 4-6 min to be done!

The best street tacos around, hands down! The chicken and al pastor are my favorites.

It's a small place compared to a few of the larger places in our area, but that's just fine. This restaurant is worthy of your time! I was looking for something out of the norm and I was not disappointed! From the moment we walked in to lively to the wonderful aromas, we knew this was going to be a stellar experience! We were greeted promptly and told we could pick a table. We were promptly brought menus and asked for what drinks we wanted. I opted for a Tropical Pina Margarita and hubby got Sandia Chile Margarita. Came very quick and we liked them so much we got another. We could have stopped at the house made salsa that had a smoky flavor and didn't look like it was poured from a jar in the back. The chips were outstanding. We opted to get some queso dip and it was just as good! Better than any other place we have had it. For dinner, my hubby opted for the Cameron Tacos on corn tortillas as he is a celiac. He remarked that it was the first time that he had corn tacos that were *solid*-meaning the taco stayed in shape and didn't fall apart while eating. The slaw was crispy, not overpowering, the pico de gallo was spicy, but not in the burn your tongue sense. He also liked the accompanying black beans and rice. I had Michelin Tacos. The first bite of mine was a bacon wrapped shrimp in a flour taco with a very pleasing sauce. The second one I had was chicken and it was just amazing. Nice slices of chicken with a pretty spicy sauce. Since I'm a big fan of spicy, this was amazing! The last one was steak, and I mean a nice piece of steak! Very tender, not overcooked! I couldn't tell you my favorite, because they were all equally delicious. Juan took very good care of us! Great evening and we will most certainly be back! To all of you that may like the *larger restaurants* on Ritchie Highway, please do yourself a favor and seek one of these stores out! We live closest to the Severna Park location, but all the stores seem to get good feedback! This is so out of the ordinary and definitely worthy of your time!

They handed me this thing off chips with salsa that was enough for five regular people or two Joshuas. The chips were good, fresh, slightly warm. The salsa was fantastic, though a little cilantro forward for someone who thinks it's soap. I ordered a chicken chimichanga for my main. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what came out qualifies as a chimichanga -- it wasn't deeply fried (or baked), and was covered with a cheese sauce like a smothered burrito. Maybe someone sent me the wrong thing? I don't bite. But, it was delicious. The sauce actually greatly complemented everything, and it was evenly seasoned. I'll definitely be back the next time I pass that way.

Chips and salsa came right away and it was hard not to eat too much, it was so tasty! The chips were fresh and hot with the perfect amount of salt; salsa was medium hot, just right for my spicy preference. After a very short wait - maybe 5 minutes, tops - our server came to take our order. The food arrived within 10 minutes. We shared nachos supreme with beef (ground beef) and four street tacos with carnitas. I can't begin to tell you how hard it was not to gobble down every bit. The carnitas were spiced perfectly and were moist and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The ground beef was, as well. The vegetables in both dishes - lettuce, onion, tomato, jalapeño - were fresh as can be. DGD enjoyed a strawberry Jarisco, while I stuck with water. The reason we held back from gorging on this feast was a planned stop at Coldstone after ;) Service was excellent, food was delicious. Parking is mildly annoying but that's just me. It's in a large shopping center and there's never any parking right in front of the businesses on the main entrance street. But we didn't have to walk far, just across an interior street from the parking shared with a theater. It's free, so a little walk is OK. With tip it was around $50 I think, but as DGD treated me, I wasn't involved in paying. Worth another visit, regardless.
