We went to an event at Black Flag Brewery and this food truck was there. I ordered the fried shrimp with fries and my companion ordered the grilled cheese fried rockfish sandwich special. I felt like the shrimp were a little over-fried but it was still a good portion for the price. My friend loved the fish sandwich, it was even more than could be eaten! I would like to visit this food truck again.

The hot dog was bland and tasted boiled; I ended up discarding that. The potato coating had a very nice crunch and texture to it. My mom really loved it. I thought it was a bit bland.

That's not CrunCheese's fault, though, it's just not a style that I really found to my personal taste. So, just speaking on this location, the dogs were... okay. I had one potato hot dog and one cheddar/mozz cheese log. The potato dog was a meal in one! The potatoes on the outside are like french fry cubes, so it's like a complete combo meal in itself. I'm glad I got the ketchup and mustard on it, because it needed something to cut through the heaviness. The cheese option was more disappointing, though. The "cheddar" was more like Velveeta, or "processed cheese food." It didn't hold it's structure after being fried, so it was honestly like a mouthful of cheese sauce surrounded by fried dough. Sounds appealing, but not pleasant in practice. The mozz was fine, though! Definitely more like a traditional mozzarella stick. For two "dogs" plus one fountain drink, it was over $15. Had I known how heavy it was going to be, I would have only gotten one of the dogs. It would have been plenty. The service was good. The lone cashier (who was also the cook) was helpful and friendly. But, they could have used more staff to handle the line that quickly formed. Plus, it took a VERY long time to get the food after it was ordered. Like, 20 minutes! Overall, it was okay. I'm not in a rush to go back, and it really just didn't fit my style for a quick lunch or food court fare in general. But, if it's your jam, then go for it!

Buffalo hot dog was a hot dog with sloppy joes style chili on it, husband liked it. Chicken hoagie was tasty but a huge mess. Husband drove less than2 minutes to get home and the hoagie soaked the paper and fell out into the bag. I had to ditch the bun and eat the filling with a fork. The special sauce is really sweet so I'll skip it next time and the hoagie was seasoned well so sauce wasn't needed anyway. Chicken tenders were over done on the outside but a little soggy in the middle; they were ok otherwise. Onion rings were good. Fries were way underdone with crunchy edges and no salt. They were thick steakhouse style fries that looked great otherwise (season your fries, guys!). I hope this truck gets their fryer situation and quality control figured out because everything seemed like it could have been great...with some kinks worked out. We'll go back again and this time we'll check our order before we leave. Best of luck to these folks :)

FOOD TRUCK ALERT (find them and eat some awesome wings)…read more Kodi's Grill has rockstar wings and dangerously good garlic fries. The wings come out crispy, saucy, and still juicy - the kind you have to stop mid‑conversation for because you're too busy licking your fingers. The garlic fries are that "I'll just have one... ok maybe ten more" kind of situation, loaded with garlicky goodness and crunch in every bite. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the whole vibe is laid‑back and friendly - like your favorite neighborhood spot, just on wheels. If you're near Severn and craving comfort food, this is the kind of place that turns a random Tuesday into a cheat‑day event.

He tried to order it without onions, but was told the onions are already mixed in and they can't take them out. The sub was stuffed with meat and was heavy. He thought it was seasoned very well, and would definitely order it again. I ordered the smashburger. The bacon was good, but it didn't taste candied to me. It comes with burger sauce, but there was barely any on the bun, so I would have liked more sauce to taste. The burgers were cooked well. The edges of the burger had those grill crispies that are so good. The garlic fries were supposed to come with herbs on top (like shown in the photo) and include aioli, but we received neither. Despite this, the fries were still good. They had a strong garlic smell but the taste wasn't overwhelming. The onion rings were great. The batter was light, and you could actually bite through the onion. Overall, we would definitely order from this truck again.
