My coworker had recommended this place and I finally got a chance to stop by. I ordered the fork and cheese pupusa the beef taco and shrimp quesadilla everything tasted wonderful and can't wait to come back!!! I ordered from their website to pick up in store so the only interaction I had was letting the person at the counter know my name in my bag was waiting for me. Beyond ambience was nice and casual. 4 1/2 stars, rounding up. This place seems to mostly do takeout, with tons of people coming in and grabbing bags. At 6pm on a Saturday ours was the only table being used. The service is always friendly and they're happy to answer any menu questions you might have. The margaritas are STRONG, the soup filling, and the taco birria is good, too. read more

Pros: super clean. Looks brand new. They have tons of Hispanic drinks plus desserts. At least 6 -8 tables for seating inside. The food tasted very very clean and fresh. Pros - Convenient location, online ordering Cons - Price compared to serving size We love tacos and anything mexican related. We were excited to try this new spot around the corner. We order 3 birria tacos, 1 carne asada, guacamole and chips and salsa came out to $31 which is pretty high. The chips and salsa which was nothing more than half a container of tortilla chips thrown in a takeout container and a small side cup of salsa was $6, which is more expensive than Chipotle. Other more established spots, like my personal favorite Tacos Don Perez are $2 cheaper per taco. The tacos were good but not great and certainly not $5/$6 per taco quality. If I had to choose between TDP which is 30 minutes away and this spot, I'd still make the trip to Silver Spring. read more

Went here today for the first time. The food is very fresh and delicious. The Salsa Verde is amazing! When ordering the birria taco's make sure to ask for the quesa-birria if you want the version we are accustomed to. The food is also very affordable. The only thing I was not happy with , was the fact they didn't have the Charro beans, they put lettuce in the quesadilla's and they dont give chips and salsa complementary. Other than that, highly recommend! read more

Decided to try something new for dinner on our way home. Specifically asked for no lettuce and no beans. What did we get? Both. Also ordered horchata only to arrive and find out that they are out of horchata. Pretty disappointed. Especially due to the fact that they noted my requests and disregarded them. Food was meh. An attractive location. New and clean. Looks like they have good intentions. Severely lacking is a CHEF!! The food is awful and the price was too high fir the value. Shrimp tacos had only 2 shrimp per tacos and shrimp were breaded and fried. A soggy mess covered with shredded veg. Fried chicken tacos were like something I can buy frozen in Costco and covered with shredded lettuce. Beans were a thick glob of paste. I will not be back and I will not recommend it to anyone. read more

I live near this mall and finally tried La Casa Sandrita today. The food is delicious! I had a fish taco and tried the quesabirria taco. The fish taco was OK; the quesabirria was really, really good. The tacos are small, hand size, so some people may not be happy with the price (3 for $14.50), but the tortillas are hand made and the quesabirria was packed with meat, plus it comes with a very rich dipping sauce (sort of like au jus, but much richer and more flavorful). The ladies at the counter are very nice, and the restaurant is clean and pleasant. Nice latin music in the background (I think I even heard the staff singing along in the back.) I want this new restaurant to succeed, but it's off to a rough start. I thought the prices were high for the small servings. I ordered a sparerib taco that actually still had bone in the meat, and the meat was tough and sinewy. Several employees were taking up table space, just sitting around. The shopping center itself isn't very nice, so the ambiance is lacking. That's not the restaurant's fault, but the restaurant will have to overcome the outside issues, and right now, they just aren't there. read more

I did not partake in the fine in experience though the customers seemed very pleased with the atmosphere and service rendered. I ordered the pork dumplings and spicy green pepper w/beef over white rice. Both were quite tasty. Now after doing some research the soup dumpling (xiaolongbao) is what I was expecting. No worries though because the other dumplings were also good. The pepper bowl was well balanced, tender, flavorful, filling, and seasoned. Next time I'm going to opt for the Ugly rice bowl upgrade. I was informed it has extra spices and seasoning while would enhance this dish even further. The food prep time wasn't too long or too short allowing for the appreciation of made to order. Overall for a carry out experience 4 of 5. If you're in the area please give them a try and partake in the fine in experience.

This place is the bomb! It's pretty much a hibachi with an assembly line where you can build your own bowl have it cooked to order and eat all you want. The wait wasn't long on my visit but even if it was I still would've waited because it was worth the wait. Once you're seated you get a tablet with placed on your table where you get to select your appetizers, which are included in your all you can eat option. The waiter only comes for initial drink orders and drink refills everything else you want you order on the tablet and you go to the line to build your bowl. The assembly line has everything you can imagine from and you select everything you want to go into your bowl even down to the seasoning and sauces. Once you build your bowl you give it to the chef's and then you return to your table. Your food will be delivered to your table once it's cooked. The waiter will explain that you will be charged for wasted food which is understandable. That doesn't mean you have to eat every single noodle or piece of rice however you shouldn't make bowls and just discard them for another one, so be sure that you want to eat the bowl you have created. In my second bowl the cook did burn my food which was a blower, but my first bowl was the bomb! Also, someone in my party's bowl got mixed up with someone at another table's bowl, but it was fixed by the waitress who understood since the other party with the mixup stated they had the wrong bowl as well. The bathroom needs some work, in my opinion it's really tight and the stalls sort of force you to turn sideways to exit. The decor is nice and there's plenty of parking, I plan on returning very soon.

We requested our pizza to be cooked light bake, which offered just enough crisps to the edges. Anything more would have been crispy, if that's your desired pizza texture. All in all, our pizza's came out good and we enjoyed every bite. I would definitely recommend visiting this establishment.

I ordered the Milanesa De pollo (Breaded Chicken) Torta and it was massive! It came in two different boxes because it didn't fit in one. I also ordered 2 tacos of the Costillas (Short rib) which came with the bone, just as they did in Mexico. I love that they stick to the authentic way of making food, I saw a comment mention that they didn't like that but that is how the Mexican dish is made.
