First time customer here today. Great way to start Memorial Day weekend. I ordered chicken quesadillas and chicken tacos. Quesadillas were delicious and very meaty. Could only eat one taco because the quesadilla was so big. Great tacos by the way. Red sauce is hot so I switched back and forth from green to red. Store in right behind the Burger King. I think it might be where the old Subway was located. This place is spotless inside. First impressions are lasting ones. I will definitely make this my go to Mexican food stop. My coworker had recommended this place and I finally got a chance to stop by. I ordered the fork and cheese pupusa the beef taco and shrimp quesadilla everything tasted wonderful and can't wait to come back!!! 4 1/2 stars, rounding up. This place seems to mostly do takeout, with tons of people coming in and grabbing bags. At 6pm on a Saturday ours was the only table being used. Pros: super clean. Looks brand new. They have tons of Hispanic drinks plus desserts. At least 6 -8 tables for seating inside. The food tasted very very clean and fresh. Pros - Convenient location, online ordering Cons - Price compared to serving size We love tacos and anything mexican related. We were excited to try this new spot around the corner. We order 3 birria tacos, 1 carne asada, guacamole and chips and salsa came out to $31 which is pretty high. The chips and salsa which was nothing more than half a container of tortilla chips thrown in a takeout container and a small side cup of salsa was $6, which is more expensive than Chipotle. Other more established spots, like my personal favorite Tacos Don Perez are $2 cheaper per taco. The tacos were good but not great and certainly not $5/$6 per taco quality. If I had to choose between TDP which is 30 minutes away and this spot, I'd still make the trip to Silver Spring. read more

Went here today for the first time. The food is very fresh and delicious. The Salsa Verde is amazing! When ordering the birria taco's make sure to ask for the quesa-birria if you want the version we are accustomed to. The food is also very affordable. The only thing I was not happy with , was the fact they didn't have the Charro beans, they put lettuce in the quesadilla's and they dont give chips and salsa complementary. An attractive location. New and clean. Looks like they have good intentions. Severely lacking is a CHEF!! The food is awful and the price was too high fir the value. Shrimp tacos had only 2 shrimp per tacos and shrimp were breaded and fried. A soggy mess covered with shredded veg. Fried chicken tacos were like something I can buy frozen in Costco and covered with shredded lettuce. Beans were a thick glob of paste. I live near this mall and finally tried La Casa Sandrita today. The food is delicious! I had a fish taco and tried the quesabirria taco. The fish taco was OK; the quesabirria was really, really good. The tacos are small, hand size, so some people may not be happy with the price (3 for $14.50), but the tortillas are hand made and the quesabirria was packed with meat, plus it comes with a very rich dipping sauce (sort of like au jus, but much richer and more flavorful). The ladies at the counter are very nice, and the restaurant is clean and pleasant. Nice latin music in the background (I think I even heard the staff singing along in the back.) I want this new restaurant to succeed, but it's off to a rough start. I thought the prices were high for the small servings. I ordered a sparerib taco that actually still had bone in the meat, and the meat was tough and sinewy. Several employees were taking up table space, just sitting around. The shopping center itself isn't very nice, so the ambiance is lacking. That's not the restaurant's fault, but the restaurant will have to overcome the outside issues, and right now, they just aren't there. read more

Best Spanish restaurant in Bowie I highly recommend! The staff is amazing and my food was made super quick. I will definitely be back.
