Hosted a birthday dinner of 10, the restaurant was very nice and accommodating. The server was new, but she was so nice and asked for extra help to make sure we were attended to the restaurant itself was nice, we went during the summer so it was a big muggy sitting by the doors. Food is amazing. I would not mind returning, especially during the fall or winter.

OMGGGGG! Kevin was our server and was AMAZEBALLS. Seriously, so kind, attentive, and generous to our group! Much love Kevin!!!! Makes the best espresso martinis EVER as well!

The food here was expensive and decent but definitely not worth the price. I know you're paying for the view, and I that's great and all but it's not NYC. I was also mad at the chairs we sat in. It was so small that I could barely fit in the seat and I was uncomfortable the whole time. I will say that everyone else's food looked great though! I got the butternut squash risotto with scallops and it was lacking seasoning. Props to the person who made my Shirley temple though, that was gas.

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner, and we had a great time, all was wonderful . The atmosphere and aesthetics of this restaurant were out of this world. The nice interior, plus the rooftop, was amazing! We got to take great pictures on the rooftop while we waited for our food to come out once we ordered. I ordered their lasagna, and it was delicious no complaints there. The service was decent, the drinks took a while to come out, and our server wasn't very attentive to us, which was not great. Overall, the experience was great, the only downside was the service. Other than that, I would recommend this place for the vibes and a night out with friends or family.

This place was extremely aesthetically pleasing! This would be a great place for a cute date night or a night out with the girls. Our server was really helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. The drinks were great and the food was appetizing. The arancini balls were fried good I just wish there was a bit more sauce. I ordered the risotto with scallops and I was disappointed with this dish. It wasn't as seasoned as I would have liked and I wish there were more a few more pieces of the scallops. I did try my sister's salmon and that was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Amazing views at sunset. Wow. If you are heading here please try to be here as the sun is going down. With the clear view to the west (see pic) and the reflective buildings to the east you get a dusk to remember. We did not eat here so no info on the food. The drinks were made perfectly and prices are typical. Our first bartender gets one star. Maybe he was having a bad night. He came to our seats at the bar, he asked about our order but before we could even reply he looked at a piece of paper in his hands and walked away. He never came back to us...but he served others near us. What the what?! Second bartender finally saw us and she was awesome. Professional, courteous, and friendly. Plus the drinks were perfect and served promptly. All in all just a weird experience. Never had a situation where the dude flat out failed like that. The evening ended on a positive note but this feels like La Terrazza turned a five star review into a 1 star memory. Weird.

Party of 10. Host did a great job. Food and drinks were great although pricier for much of the market in the area. The Sicilian was so pasta heavy. Pls make it a little thinner to balance the sauce. Ambiance inside was good but the lights on our table turned off 30 minutes after we sat down and no one turned it back on even after we told the staff. Server served water but didn't ask us for our drinks. We went to the bar to order. The server also wanted us to start boxing our food even though we were still eating. Picture posted with boxes on the table. Again I had to call his attention. The view outside phenomenal. Three stars but there's lots of potential. I will try go again to see if suggestions here are applied for improvement. I will be updating if I get a better experience.

This is one of my favorite spots in downtown Raleigh! I've been in the summer and winter and had amazing experiences both times. In summer, it was magical to sit outside and have the Raleigh skyline to bask in. In the winter, I brought my large family here to sit inside. We got similarly amazing views sitting in the opulent, glass walled dining area. Getting everyone to agree in my family is tough - but we all agreed that this was the best Italian place! We all ordered different pizza and pasta dishes and we were somehow all abundantly pleased with our selections! In my opinion, the hidden gem on the menu is the lasagna. I would never normally order but it is worth it! As always, I appreciate their professional, fastidious servers!

I booked a reservation for this rooftop restaurant to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. It's overlooking downtown raleigh, so the views and atmosphere were pretty top notch.....except for the fact that the building is across the street from Raleigh Union Train Station. Keep in mind you'll be hearing a train horn every 15-20 minutes if you decide to eat outside. The food was hit-or-miss. On one hand, The Sicilian dish was pretty good, had a nice pesto and pistachio base, just a bit too oily in my opinion. My girlfriend tried to order the ravioli main dish, but the waiter mentioned that they "ran out". She ordered the Tagliatelle, which for all intents and purposes was the most basic pasta dish ever. The sauce was unflavorful, similar to ragu, and there was no salt or seasoning added to the dish whatsoever. We literally had to manually add salt to it because it was that bland. We also ordered The Arancini appetizer dish which are basically these fried risotto balls. They tasted a bit freezer burned and were served with that same unflavorful sauce from the Tagliatelle. The drinks were probably the best part of the dinner, no complaints in that avenue. The chairs are metal and pretty hard to sit on, but that might just be a matter of opinion on my end. The big kicker was that there were COCKROACHES all over the overlook deck. Huge ones too, I tried to get a video of what my girlfriend and I saw so I could prove it, but we decided to just get out of there. Not my favorite experience.

One of the best Italian spots in Raleigh that we've had so far! We attended a friend's birthday dinner and had an amazing time, thanks to both food and company. The appetizers were tasty, lamb chops absolutely delivered, and the desserts were even better than we expected (bombolini was my favorite)! Our servers were helpful but sometimes too quiet for our large table to hear. The ambiance was perfect for celebrating and this is definitely an establishment to visit on special occasion.

Visited on Father's Day with my family of 6. The setting is pretty cool. Nice entry way with access to the roof top deck. The hostesses aren't the friendliest but there were plenty of them. We chose to sit outside and while it was pretty humid it made for a funner experience. It rained off and on, but the windows opened and closed accordingly. The service was good, but nothing great. Unfortunately, I struggled to find something to drink. THEY DO NOT HAVE SWEET TEA. We are in NC. This is the South. No restaurant, no matter the price point, should not have sweet tea. I was told that they have Pepsi products, but that's not exactly true. They have Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and I was told Sprite, but I pointed out that's a Coke product so she corrected herself that it's Sierra Mist. I wasn't trying to be difficult, but seriously, you don't offer tea, root beer, Mountain Dew...? I tried Ginger Beer, only to be disappointed and settled on Ginger Ale. I was left dehydrated. The apps were the best part of the meal. I recommend the arancini and the polpo. We each tried different pastas. They were fine, but nothing I need to eat again. The desserts looked amazing, but unfortunately looked nicer than they tasted. I didn't taste anything on the menu that I'd return for. It's unfortunate, because I was hoping to refer many others here. Access to the balcony for pics are free. Find somewhere else to eat.

Came here for a girls night out dinner. Parking logistics are great since the restaurant is on the roof of the garage but unlike what the restaurant states, parking is not free. Their outdoor seating is gorgeous and perfect for date night. The cocktails were a 10/10, food was a 7/10 (overcooked kababs and undercooked risotto), but otherwise we had an amazing time.

I attended a birthday celebration at La Terrazza, located on the 9th floor of the Dillion. The rooftop offered stunning views and a delightful ambiance, making it a top on my list of favorite spots. While the service was a bit slow, our server was professional and attentive, providing a comprehensive rundown of the specials. The food, including the pork belly appetizer and the Lasagna with Greek salad, was all delicious. Other appetizers, such as calamari, beef, and lamb skewers, were also thoroughly enjoyed by our group. Despite the wait, everything was worth it. Our server, Justin, did a fantastic job, going the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience, including taking care of the birthday cake. I highly recommend La Terrazza and look forward to returning. The seats inside could be better. Not the most comfortable. I understand it's a hot spot, so perhaps this is a way to influence customers to eat and go. We did enjoy outside seating ( with more back support) and views on the rooftop after dinner inside.

Everything except the caesar was good. I guess we didn't expect the caesar to taste THAT charred and the lettuce to not be chopped. For main entrees, we ordered lasagna, lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka, and alfredo. The vodka pasta and lasagna were unflavored and disliked among the table. I would not recommend those dishes. The alfredo was okay. The best dish was the lobster ravioli.

We entered through a big heavy wooden door into the quasi-dark atmosphere and were promptly seated, despite most of the tables being occupied. We were given a two top and started with chips and guacamole. I was impressed with the chips, they were a little extra thick, had tiny bubbles in them. Certainly a far departure from the typical thin, overly salty chip found at most restaurants and grocery stores. Excellent guac with a little pico and lime wedge on the side. I ordered the Baja bowl with shredded adobo chicken. The bowl had green rice, black beans, a whole lot of kale, tomatillo sauce, pickled red onions, crema, and cilantro. It needed a little more, so I added in some of the guac, a few chips I crumbled in my hands for some crunch, and some fresh lime juice. Noah did a good job keeping our water glasses full and he was quite friendly. However, the restroom situation is a bit difficult. There are two small unisex bathrooms, both of which have to be locked. There can't be more than one person in there at the same time, so plan accordingly. Granted, since there isn't much space in the restaurant, it's not as if they have a ton of options.

"Best Pizza" many years running back when that actually meant something. Now? It feels less like a restaurant and more like a nostalgic reenactment gone very wrong. The menu still reads like a dream--Carolina crust this, atomic sauce that--but ordering has become a real exercise in imagination. Half the ingredients are apparently on a spiritual journey and no longer physically present. You'll ask for sharp cheddar and get a thoughtful pause, followed by, "We don't have sharp cheddar, we might have a Wisconsin sharp cheddar?" --which, to their credit, has the word "cheddar" in it. The staff move with the energy of a group project that everyone forgot was due today. Pizzas emerge... interpretively. You might order a margherita and receive something that captures its essence, emotionally, if not structurally. It's less "wrong order" and more "pizza as a suggestion." A master of creative problem-solving, this cashier has boldly redefined the concept of "making change." Why fumble with buttons and math when you can simply hand over two beers and call it even? It's less of a transaction and more of a surprise gift exchange--one where the rules are unclear and the outcome is mildly concerning. And the wine list--oh, the wine list--is a beautiful historical document. A relic. A time capsule from at least six months ago, when bottles still existed and hope flowed freely. Now, asking for wine feels like asking about a long-lost friend. "We don't have that," they'll say, gazing into the middle distance. Still, there's something oddly annoying about it all. Like walking into a once-revered theater that still clings to its golden-age reputation. The performances feel like echoes rather than art, the lighting flat where it once dazzled, and every scene drags with the weight of trying to live up to a forgotten past. It's not bad enough to be a disaster--just disappointing enough to make you wonder if the hype was ever real or if you're just eating the ghost of someone else's great experience. Cheers!
