seasonal ravioli
Victoria R.

For a place trying to be an upscale restaurant the service doesn't match the atmosphere/prices. We got there a few minutes early for our reservation for 7 people for an inside table and they told us one would be ready in around 15 minutes. ~20 minutes go by and they say there is actually no inside tables available at all and that we will have to sit outside if we want to eat there. Okay, not great because it's hot, but fine - on our walk outside we pass by an open large inside table that's 'not available'. I get it happens but...? We are sat and our meal and drinks are good, my ravioli was very yummy. However, we told the server it was our friend's birthday and at the end of the night there was no dessert or anything brought for her. A big miss in my opinion. Especially when you are paying prices like $30 for a pasta with no meat, I would expect the service to be exceptional. TLDR: food is solid, definitely a bit pricey for the level of service provided.

Beautiful roof Top restaurant for happy hour or a date night . The bar shares outside and inside vibes. I didn't try the food I came for the drinks ,and the Drinks wasn't that great, I would need to try again. Please stop by for the rooftop aesthetics !

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. This is a great place for a birthday dinner because you can get stunning pictures with a beautiful view on their rooftop patio. The standout dish to me was the amatrice pasta. Will have to come back again just for this.

They are located on the 9th floor with a walk out patio, so you get to enjoy the views of downtown Raleigh. There is inside as well as outdoor seating to accommodate either preference. The food was very good and the staff was on top of everything. I'd recommend for a night out if you'd like dinner either a view of downtown Raleigh

This place is an amazing, I came here to enjoy the view and drinks. This place is a vibe, the service provided Ayesha and Kate who are behind the bars were amazing. They were extremely friendly, attentive, and just an amazing personality. I love the fact that I can joke around with them. I would come back here again.

Views are great and service is great! They had some fun seasonal cocktail options and the outdoor bar is almost complete! The portion sizes of the dishes are also very generous and tasty!

Fish of the day

Had such a beautiful date night at La Terrazza. The rooftop atmosphere was amazing and made the whole evening feel so intimate and special. We ordered the charcuterie board to start, and the fish of the day which was sea bass with orzo -- and wow... both the appetizer and entrée completely exceeded my expectations. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and plated so well. I was genuinely impressed the entire night. My favorite drink was the Margherita Rossa

The atmosphere, food and service were excellent. We throughly had a great time for our anniversary. We will definitely be recommending everyone to go experience and we will be back!

This place is beautiful, both inside and out. From the minute you take the elevator up, you feel the upscale ambience and beauty of the restaurant. Definitely step outside during the night and try to come during sunset for some views and pictures. The food was okay. We weren't crazy about the caesar salad or ravioli. However, the pizza was a good appetizer, and the lamb chops were nice and tender. I definitely feel like for a rooftop this beautiful they could've made better seating arrangements than the tables they had. The view is so gorgeous though that I would come back to just sit outside and enjoy a drink and a bite.

Hosted a birthday dinner of 10, the restaurant was very nice and accommodating. The server was new, but she was so nice and asked for extra help to make sure we were attended to the restaurant itself was nice, we went during the summer so it was a big muggy sitting by the doors. Food is amazing. I would not mind returning, especially during the fall or winter.

Butternut squash risotto with scallops

The food here was expensive and decent but definitely not worth the price. I know you're paying for the view, and I that's great and all but it's not NYC. I was also mad at the chairs we sat in. It was so small that I could barely fit in the seat and I was uncomfortable the whole time. I will say that everyone else's food looked great though! I got the butternut squash risotto with scallops and it was lacking seasoning. Props to the person who made my Shirley temple though, that was gas.

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner, and we had a great time, all was wonderful . The atmosphere and aesthetics of this restaurant were out of this world. The nice interior, plus the rooftop, was amazing! We got to take great pictures on the rooftop while we waited for our food to come out once we ordered. I ordered their lasagna, and it was delicious no complaints there. The service was decent, the drinks took a while to come out, and our server wasn't very attentive to us, which was not great. Overall, the experience was great, the only downside was the service. Other than that, I would recommend this place for the vibes and a night out with friends or family.

This place was extremely aesthetically pleasing! This would be a great place for a cute date night or a night out with the girls. Our server was really helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. The drinks were great and the food was appetizing. The arancini balls were fried good I just wish there was a bit more sauce. I ordered the risotto with scallops and I was disappointed with this dish. It wasn't as seasoned as I would have liked and I wish there were more a few more pieces of the scallops. I did try my sister's salmon and that was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

If you can't find parking on Person street I recommended parking on a side street and walking. Walking in the pizza shop has a cool, laid back, neighborhood vibe. To be seated you'll want to ask for an open table from the staff. Once seated we ordered a pitcher of Narragansett Pilsner and a small Caesar Salad (housemade dressing, lemon garlic breadcrumb, pecorino). The pils was excellent and wanted to order a little extra beer since it was the weekend. The Caesar was excellent and the portion was plenty of food for two people. For pizza we ordered a pizza with half sausage and half pepperoni. The pizza was huge and we definitely had to take 3/4s of it to go. The pizza itself was good and was a little heavier than I was expecting. If you are in the person street area and looking for pizza, I definitely would check out the Oakwood Pizza box.

For drinks I ordered the Long Island Iced tea (vodka, rum, tequila, gin, triple sec, sour mix, and a splash of cola) and my partner ordered the Appletini (vodka, sour apple pucker, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup). Both drinks were excellent and were nice and smooth. For our entree we split the Chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti. We also ordered a side of spaghetti and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. The chicken parm was seasoned perfectly and may be one of the best I've ever tried. Overall this was a great experience and I look forward to our next trip to Anthony's La Piazza Prime. I'll have to try the Lobster Ravioli on this next trip with the vodka sauce.

We ended up sitting up at the bar and ordered a couple drinks to start. I ordered a pint of the Utica Club Lager which was excellent and very easy to drink. My partner ordered a glass of the Spellbound Pinot Noir which also was great and had a nice finish. For food we ordered the Bambino pizza (spicy honey marinara, mozzarella and provolone blend, fresh mozzarella, all beef meatballs, pesto, garlic oil) which was excellent. Anyway - Pizzas are consistently good, come out quick, and new pizza toppings/flavors pop up every once in a while. They had a little tap on the patio. So we hopped in line. My friend went inside to see if we could get beer faster. You know divide and conquer. She won, however the line outside was still long so we stayed in line so we could get another. Sure enough by the time we reached the front of the line we were out. So we grabbed a couple more put them on the open tab from inside and walked around. We came back after walking around and decided after seeing everyone walking around with pizza boxes and Togo bags that we would eat here. We knew from being there earlier that they had outside first come seating seat yourself, but it was full so we went inside, turns out that is also first come first serve seat yourself. There was a table getting up as we walked in so we sat down and they were quick to come clean it. The waitress came and too our drink order and we saw her 1 more time after that. Even though they have a scan menu on the table for you to place your order I think they should still check on you. She came at the end to see if we needed her to close out our tab at the bar, we had already taken care of that. We could have used her during our meal. The wedge Cesar was ok, the lettuce was nice and crisp. The Cesar was good. I always get my dressing on the side sometimes when you get a salad it can be overdressed and I don't like that so I don't take chances. The Chicken schnitzel was ok not outstanding. It could use some seasoning. The salad "on top" of it was good. The dressing was really good. Now this roasted broccoli was the star of the table. It was so yumm. I only wish the dressing was on the side. It was so much of it in the top I had to rub some off. Otherwise it was so good. We would have ordered more but having to use the San to order and pay each time I didn't like that so we just ate that and moved on. Maybe we will try the pizza next time.
