Very delicious meal! By far the nicest waiters in Key Biscayne. The olive oil is absolutely delicious if you love pesto. I recommend the Seafood Risotto, Fettuccine Alfredo or the Lasagna. We werent too fond of the Bolognese or the Caesar.

    Lobster ravioli

The focaccia was too dry, the pesto was delicious. The salmon carpaccio lacked on the passion fruit dressing (needs more passion). What made up for it was the next 3 dishes. The lobster ravioli was full of lobster and shrimp. The snapper piccata was the best snapper I ever had. It was prepared super moist with an egg wash. The tiramisu was a delight.

Food was decent but lacking some flavor, small space and cramped. Servers were extremely nice and attentive.

Various options for milanesas, different types of meats and topping available. The breading was tasty and crunchy and the toppings were a nice pairing! Each milanesa comes with a side dish, so yourself a favor and order the mash potatoes- one of the best ones I've ever had! Portions were big and easily shareable between 2 people!

This restaurant must've been different to get the kinds of reviews it's gotten in the past. One of…read morethe worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. What was wrong with it? In a word everything. The decor is not awful itself, but feels a little industrial, with televisions plunked over the walls. But the service and the food just take it to a different level of bad. Our waitress hadn't the faintest clue to what she was doing. She asked how well done we wanted our carpaccio. She so clearly didn't know what she was doing, I had her recite our orders back to me. How could she mess that up? Good question. How about serving all of the food at one time, appetizers and main course? We had carpaccio, supposedly Argentine beef; a pancho; a filet mignon; and Milanezza Martin. Starting with the semi edible, the fillet was not good, the presentation was awful, stock dry on its own on a black plate, with mashed potatoes in a separate ramekin on the side, and the sad chimichurri sauce also in a separate ramekin, but you could swallow it. Everything else was a disgrace. The milanezza was junk they got out of the fridge and microwave before they planted it on the table. My daughter found it literally non-edible, and she is the kindest of diners. She said it tasted like the fridge... A kind way of putting it The pancho was a profoundly bland hot dog in a stale bun. But the "carpaccio" took pride of place. Simultaneously part-frozen and decaying beef, of which my daughter took a bite, and then was stuck finding a polite way to spit it into a napkin. North of inedible. All of this terrible food was put onto our table at one time, about three minutes after we ordered it, because obviously it had just been defrosted in the microwave. And to add insult to injury, the waitress came by, with a toothy, TGIF smile, and said how are we doing? Bloody awful is the only answer. In a move that clearly reflects where the restaurant is at, I noticed they put 19% automatically on the bill for "service". Then they had the cojones to ask for more of a tip when you sign electronically on the tableside device. I looked at the waitress incredulously with raised eyebrows, and that was that. Never again.

We are passionate about following expert award winning chefs so are critical of service, presentation and quality of food. And we travel around the world experiencing flavors of the world. Our recent experience at Novecento was spot on! Checking off all the boxes (as Paul Hollywood would say on the British Bake off ). We took advantage of the '34th anniversary lunch / dinner menu". A great 3 course meal at almost half the price and to top it off the '50% off Tuesday' special on the fabulous wine selections. My burrata and my husband's Ceviche = fabulous and generous. All 3 of us ordered NY Steak, again spot on - cooked as ordered, and a generous portion, and flavorful. I rarely order mashed potatoes and not only did I eat mine I had to help my aunt with hers too! The deserts- also something I generally skip - I couldn't resist; excellent Flan, outstanding Crepes with Dulce de Leche with spectacular vanilla ice cream. And the Wine!!! Absolutely amazing. Thank God my husband is quite a connoisseur of wines. It was fabulous to the last drop. Luis Perez was our waiter and he was truly focused on our any everyone's needs. Not missing a beat to make sure orders were paced nicely, not crowding you or rushing you - so your intimate moment was unforgettable ! Congratulations for the service and food BRAVO .
