Brunch buffet for 2 people: $373 including auto gratuity and tax.
Paul W.

We came here for Sunday Brunch and according to their social media, Lightkeepers at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne has 2 brunch pricing options: 1) Brunch buffet with select bottomless beverages for $145/person + service charge and tax, or 2) Bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, proseco and a few other selections for $45/person and you can order food a la carte from their menu. We usually hit a few brunch buffets per year on average; In my opinion, the offering at Lightkeepers is simply not worth the cost vs. brunch experiences we've had at other Miami area restaurants. We arrived and were seated right away on the outdoor patio and this area was dog friendly with a few patrons there with their furry companions. The server was friendly and outgoing throughout our time here and asked if we were interested in brunch. She listed off the usual, standard brunch drink options, but there was nothing terribly unique or creative about any of them. The one interesting thing is that they had carafes and dispensers of most of the brunch drinks at the end of the buffet line, so I guess if your server wasn't bringing them fast enough, you could go and get your own. One nearby table paid their tab and cashed out following their meal, but continued going back to those dispensers to serve themselves additional beverages before leaving. The buffet itself was solid, featuring most of the usual American-fare items one might expect and the amount of options and presentation was good, but really wasn't anything highly impressive or noteworthy, especially considering the pricepoint - which was $373 with included service charge and tax for 2 people. For brunch, I think I prefer the following: Prime Fish - Nearly the same unlimited food and beverage selections as Lightkeepers in a beautiful setting, but about 1/2 the price. Quinto in Brickell - Cheaper, also unlimited food and drink (though not buffet-style), with many more unique and creative bottomless drinks available vs. Lightkeepers. LaMar - Costs nearly as much as Lightkeepers, but more creative food options, incredible presentation, many more creative drinks vs. Lightkeepers and one can also request nearly anything they wish from the bar for the 2 hour bottomless time period.

We went to Light Keepers on a Saturday night. We had to make an early reservation, 5:30, because nothing else was available. However, there were only 2 other tables there and in the course of the hour and a half we were there only 2 more tables were seated. So while the restaurant had a nice view and good service, it certainly wasn't a fun and exciting atmosphere. That being said, the food was tasty. While I wouldn't say it was the most delicious meal I ever had, it was very yummy. The Brussels sprouts were by far my favorite thing that we ate, the glaze was so savory. The Brussels sprouts alone get 5 stars! The drive there was beautiful and scenic, the hotel was very impressive, and the restaurant staff was very friendly. It was a good meal, but overall nothing to write home about.

Miami Spice 2022: I was very surprised at the quality of the food in this hotel restaurant. There werent many food options on their lunch menu that appealed to me, but their fish sandwich ended up being so good! The soft hawaiian roll bun, flaky fish, and tasty secret sauce, made for a great sandwich. For appetizer I ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail which came with 3 giant shrimp. They tasted very fresh and the cocktail sauce was a good complement. The white chocolate dessert was pretty tasty, but I do wish it was a bit sweeter.

I'm giving 5 stars because my server provided us with excellent service and the food was great however the hosts (3 of them) had nothing but attitude and they will treat you with sarcasm so BE AWARE. I initially didn't make a reservation and the 3 hosts immediately asked me if I was staying at the hotel? and I replied "no but I live here" and the 3 hosts replied "we are only seating guests that are staying at the hotel". I immediately went online and made a reservation for 7pm (it was 6:22pm) and I made them aware that I made a reservation and they asked me "oh were you able to make one?" And I replied "I'm actually a regular here and some gentleman said "oh welcome back" also with sarcasm. In the meantime my husband and I decided to grab a cocktail at the bar while we waited for our reservation. At the bar Mr. Anthony is always great and treats us with respect. As soon as it was 7pm we went back to the restaurant and the 3 hosts that refused to sit us down at first had no choice but to sit us down. Apparently the 3 sarcastic hosts are clueless of how the reservation website works because I easily proved them wrong. One the 3 hosts asked me "is it ok if I sit you outside?" And I replied "no I want inside". Please see pictures below there were plenty of tables and she had the audacity to ask me if it was ok to sit us outside (it was raining and windy). At the end we were sat inside at a table (the hosts described it as her last table) "poor thing her last table" ‍ ED was our server and he was EXCELLENT! The only reason I'm giving this review 5 stars is only because of ED's service however the clueless, rude, sarcastic and wanting to be smarty 3 hosts can be place somewhere where they don't work with professionals. 3 hosts that are getting paid to be the rude and unprofessional face of their restaurant. ED THANK YOU for the great service! We never made ED aware of our initial entry experience because with all honesty ED made the whole experience a better one.

Flank steak. Looking lonely as it's literally a pice of turd on the plate by itself.

First off the place is a rip off. 4 people. 8 drinks , 2 waters , 12 oysters and other 2 small apps and 4 entrees. $560 dollars. First off the service was good but. All the food that came out was warm to cold. The oyster $48 for a dozen on the menu they charge $55 on the bill. For that kind of money. I can easily go to Prime one 12 and spend the same money and get way better food. I will never want to go to this place again. Just a total rip off and the food is ok. For that kind of money I expect more than ok. And actually the food to be hot. Don't order the fries. There frozen out of the bag like eating from a pizza place. Again the oysters where so small for $55 and on the menu there are $48. Total rip off!!!!! I felt like I got robbed went I left there. Again I wish I went anywhere else to spend that kind of money. Capital Grille would had been greater than this place 100%. Do not recommend going to this place. Stay away!!!!!

Wow!!! From the beautiful Miami skyline view on the way there, to the valet, beautiful decor of the hotel, amazing food, wonderful yelp elites to the staff who all worked there including Gregorio (Peruvian) at the ceviche stand I just can't help but feel extremely lucky to have attended this event hosted by the talented Diandra and her team. Everything was beyond perfect. I will definitely be back and can't wait to rave about this venue and it's staff every chance I get. Ritz Carlton this is a true definition of customer service and keep up the amazing work (ex Marriott employee and service to excellence certified). Can't wait to be back for brunch.

Love this place! Feel like I'm on vacation when I come so it's a great place for guests. I've only been here for lunch. We love dining on the outdoor patio overlooking the beach. I've had the fish and chips and the burger and both were delicious! My only complaint would be the fish and chips were a bit of a smaller portion than I'm used to for fish and chips and the burger was cooked a little over what I asked for, but I still very much enjoyed the meal. It's a great place to bring guests visiting for vacation cause you can enjoy the hotel and beach!

In A Nutshell: -Lightkeepers is a restaurant inside the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne. -If you opt for the buffet breakfast, you will pay just under $50 for the AYCE, so you better eat as much as you can. -I really enjoyed the made-to-order omelets, which take a little time, but worth the wait & you may want to order 2x. -In addition to the omelets, you can grab a nice selection of eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, cereal & pastries. -The price is steep for AYCE, but if you do a la carte, you may end up paying more. Overall, it's still a very nice restaurant w/ good service serving delicious food.

We decided to try out one of the restaurants in the Ritz Carlton for Sunday Brunch. Great choice because the food was perfect. We had a table outside facing the beach. Gorgeous view. Service was a tad bit slow but forgiven be the place was packed. They have a great Brunch menu. Make reservations. Valet parking at the Ritz.

Ladies Night ftw!!!! Came here on a Thursday night for $1 Prosecco and $1 oysters. Also took advantage of the happy hour. Happy hour is Monday - Friday from 5-8pm. It includes $5 - $8 Local Craft Beers, Cocktails + Wines and $5 - $8 Bar Bites. This is all available in the bar area and it's a lovely area with gorgeous views of the ocean. The oysters were delicious. So were the sliders and the pork belly tacos! The tuna cones were alright, kind of small if you ask me, nothing to really write about. The bartenders were super friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. They told us about the daily specials and about the weekend brunch. I can't wait to come check that out.

We really liked what we tired there. All the meals were tasty, service is on time, friendly and professional. Great ambiance at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne.

I really enjoyed the brunch here at the Ritz, they had great service and a killer omelette. My boyfriend loved his food as well. They have unlimited mimosas which my bf and I did, and they allowed me to switch over to the other options they had within the unlimited section. The valet is complimentary if you're just eating at the restaurant so no need to self park. Just make sure to get it validated. The views and amazing & even if you're just here for brunch you feel like your on a mini vacation. I love it!

Yesterday we went for lunch at Lightkeepers restaurant at The Ritz Calrton on Key Biscayne, it was not our first time here, we love the place, you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. We went for lunch but being Saturday they had a brunch menu, ordered French Toast and the Keepers Catch sandwich, all very tasty but the best deal was ROSE' ALL DAY for $25 a bottle, really a great deal. of Rose' wine, really a great deal. Thank you also for the lovely sweets to celebrate the birthdays @lightkeepersmiami @ritzcarltonkeybiscayne @keybiscayne

I talked the friendly valet into letting me park between a handicap space and a dumpster. The service was awful. It was 1:30 pm and there were about 15 customers with capacity for 100+. I was given a menu and a glass of water timely and the lady behind the bar seemed friendly. There were plenty of staff around waiting tables and backing the bar. I ordered a blackened fish sandwich and a draft beer. The beer came right away in a plastic mug. The pour was less than 12 oz. (small mug) and the brew was barely chilled. Almost room temperature. After 20 minutes and no fish sandwich, the bar lady came by and asked me: "Did you get your fish sandwich?" I said no. She then went in the main building (presumably where the kitchen is located) coming out a few minutes later while holding up 2 fingers, mouthing "2 minutes." The sandwich was $22 without fries (which were and extra $9 as a side). I didn't order those. The half-pint warm beer was $8. About 7 minutes later, another server came from the main building and delivered a scrawny, soggy bun containing a thick, small, undercooked, hunk of blackened fish flesh only 80% skin free. I had to finish the filleting myself. The toppings were parsley and onion. It was the ugliest and most tasteless blackened fish sandwich I have ever been served. I should've taken a photo. Anyway, by this point, I was in a hurry to get out of there as the place was a total fail. I picked at the fish with my fork and knife and ate the part that was actually meat and cooked, leaving the rest (skin included) and the soggy bun on the plate. With an 18% gratuity included, a simple grilled fish sandwich with no sides and a warm beer came out to almost $40. On the positive side, the view of the water and the Miami - Brickell skyline was good. However, I won't be coming back to this joint again. If I could give it Zero stars, I would.

With that said, I will never return. There is no strategy when it comes to welcoming and servicing clients. No one to sit you when you arrive. Tables were left filled with other's trash. Clients often picking it up themselves to be able to sit. When I finally got a table, I had to wait 30mins for it to be cleaned. I waited another 20 mins to be helped after waiving down the overworked waitress (who was really nice). Ordered an overpriced charcuterie board from their VERY limited menu and two Pinot noirs. I asked for the manager to discuss the trash and lack of service --- manager never came. After 30 more mins we got our charcuterie board, no waters, no utensils, no wine. Finished the food, wine got there 10 mins later, it was oxidized and undrinkable. I asked to talk to the manager again. Waited. Nothing. I approached the security guard to ask for the manager, he was very nice and apologetic, I believe Fabian was his name. He said the manager was busy and could not talk. Very disappointing experience. I will never return. The hope is that ownership sees this and changes management. Poor management turned into poor staffing, which turned into disappointed customers. We were not the only ones. If you decide to visit, I say...... BYOB and enjoy the views. They are so incredibly understaffed, it's not worth the frustration to try and get service. Food quality was poor.

In a word everything. The decor is not awful itself, but feels a little industrial, with televisions plunked over the walls. But the service and the food just take it to a different level of bad. Our waitress hadn't the faintest clue to what she was doing. She asked how well done we wanted our carpaccio. She so clearly didn't know what she was doing, I had her recite our orders back to me. How could she mess that up? Good question. How about serving all of the food at one time, appetizers and main course? We had carpaccio, supposedly Argentine beef; a pancho; a filet mignon; and Milanezza Martin. Starting with the semi edible, the fillet was not good, the presentation was awful, stock dry on its own on a black plate, with mashed potatoes in a separate ramekin on the side, and the sad chimichurri sauce also in a separate ramekin, but you could swallow it. Everything else was a disgrace. The milanezza was junk they got out of the fridge and microwave before they planted it on the table. My daughter found it literally non-edible, and she is the kindest of diners. She said it tasted like the fridge... A kind way of putting it The pancho was a profoundly bland hot dog in a stale bun. But the "carpaccio" took pride of place. Simultaneously part-frozen and decaying beef, of which my daughter took a bite, and then was stuck finding a polite way to spit it into a napkin. North of inedible. All of this terrible food was put onto our table at one time, about three minutes after we ordered it, because obviously it had just been defrosted in the microwave. And to add insult to injury, the waitress came by, with a toothy, TGIF smile, and said how are we doing? Bloody awful is the only answer. In a move that clearly reflects where the restaurant is at, I noticed they put 19% automatically on the bill for "service". Then they had the cojones to ask for more of a tip when you sign electronically on the tableside device. I looked at the waitress incredulously with raised eyebrows, and that was that. Never again.
