    Mezcal tasting at the bar

Fantastic bar and agave selection on Calle ocho. Authentic and real flavors on food and drinks

So, I've been back several times and they've clearly worked out the service kinks. The food has gotten even better and they've elevated their bar game appropriately. This really is a hidden gem.

We had such a great time here! The decor beautiful, the food delicious, the drinks incredible! And finally the service was great..everyone was very nice and attentive! As a Mexican I can say the flavors are very authentic with s modern take and the mezcal and tequila cocktails are just so so good you have to try for yourself!

Amazing. Located in Little Havana, in the same street mall as Sanguich and not to far from Thai Tapas, this one is a keeper. Great service, beautiful decor, and delicious contemporary Mexican cuisine. Very reasonable prices and a great array of cocktails.

Adorable new Mexican style French Bistro in the heart of little havana. what a fun and colorful ambience that fits the Cuban neighborhood. great intentive service, they change your silverware and plate wear out after each meal. dishes are designed to be shared for parties of two or four. we ordered a number of dishes to get a real taste of everything. I don't even know where to start. some of my favorites are the octopus for starters, ceviche, and the seafood soup! we tried their Catch of the Day which was a branzino. The delegate fish was cooked perfectly soft on the inside with a crispy crunch on the outside. We also tried there wagyu tacos, which is build it yourself tacos so you don't actually have to create the taco if you prefer to eat the meat by itself, but comes with a ton of condiments that makes it really delicious combination. We also try to the flan and berlinesa for dessert. They berlinesa is topped with truffle which is a really unique twist on dessert! great spot for fine dining for dinner for two or a celebration! I will definitely be back.

Really special. The food was fantastic and I cannot recommend the cocktails enough, specifically the Mex-Tlan if you like your drinks smoky. The wagyu dish was simple and to the point--the beef shined, it was very tender and cooked perfectly. I recommend sitting at the bar to socialize with the bartenders, and every staff member was kind and quick with orders/requests. We also received quite a few freebies as a token of their appreciation. The decor is a nice blend of old and new Miami with art deco vibes. It's a generous business that's earned its rightful place on Calle Ocho in my book.

Chocolate tarte and the most amazing little puff sugary donut you will find within the 305

Amazing delicious food, come here without expectations and you might leave with the best little place to call date night on a weekly basis. Had the octopus starter con aguachile that is fenomenal, also the mussels that seem to be the sleeper on the menu, definitely show it some love. The main entree for us was the lamb shank pepian that melted off the bone. The cocktails are a very light refreshing and delicious and pair very nicely to the food. Frankie took care of us while simultaneously making the place feel like you're part of the family. If you read the infatuations review of this place pay no mind, they completely misinterpret what this place is suppose to be; locals, good food and something out of the mundane and touristy.

During live performances, one waitress would get up on stage and play instruments and at other times bartenders would join in. I was truly smiling from ear to ear all night. I drank delicious mojitos all night and even with a packed venue the drinks came out extremely fast! Although the restaurant was packed, our waitress remained extremely kind and attentive throughout the night. To me, the food was just good. We had the Jamón Serrano Croquetas to start. They were a little cold for my taste and not the best I've ever had but they weren't bad. My husband really loved his skirt steak ropa vieja and didn't leave a single grain of rice. I opted for the rabo encendido pasta. I like that they weren't skimpy on the rabo. The downside of this place is that to maximize space, you're packed in like sardines. The tables are basically on top of each other. A larger sized person would not fit getting in and out of their seat and my husband was constantly backing up into the people seated behind him. Overall, this is a place you definitely visit for the atmosphere above food. I will 100% be coming back for drinks, appetizers and more live music. It is an incredible spot especially for those looking for Cuban nostalgia.

I thought for a moment, paid the cover, and walked in. The music was pretty good. The place was not full, this was probably some underground event. I got a cocktail to try, it was pretty good but cocktails and punk don't match, so I switched to cheap bear when I was done. It's a cool venue, close to me, and the staff was very friendly. I used to go to the club in my college years. After the hotel was sold, the club moved to the Rocky Horror venue in Coconut Grove. In 1999 after that closed too, the club became a roaming pop up at different South Florida venues. Which is how I came to be at Bar Nancy in Little Havana on a Saturday night. They host a monthly Kitchen Club night. Almost everything was closed in Little Havana by the time I arrived so it was surprisingly easy to find metered street parking only two blocks away. Bar Nancy did not have a cover charge which was nice. The bar is decorated like a pirate ship with many nautical touches. It is named for the brigantine Nancy, which transported war supplies during the American Revolution. The room the bar is located in was small, dark, hot, and crowded. Many people enjoyed themselves on the dance floor in front of the DJ. They also have a backyard area that was popular. My favorite room was the one between the two. It was decorated like the Captains quarters with a couch and comfortable chairs. I could still enjoy the music and more importantly, the air conditioning. During the night I had a delicious Amaretto Sour. Despite the dive bar surroundings, it was a hefty $15. While that is expensive for a cocktail, it was a small price to pay to relive my youth for one evening.

My seabass was so yummy, and some of the highlights of the night were the Truffle Tuna Tartine, Lobster Roll, Spicy Tartare de Saumon, and Mezze Prince ~ every single dish was outstanding. And my drink, the Summer Layla, was SO good! I love Mediterranean food and Arabic culture, so this place was the perfect combination for me. What truly blew my mind, though, was the music ~ huge kudos to the DJ! He played a very popular Russian song and we loved it!!
