The 94th Aero Squadron restaurant overlooks the runway of the Miami International Airport so that you can enjoy a fantastic view of the planes taking off and landing. There are headphones available for you to listen to the air traffic ground control and you can see cargo trains pass right in front of your window while you dine! You will feel like you are back in the 60s reminiscing with your grandparents about World War I. We recently attended a holiday lunch party with former coworkers here. There were about 15-20 of us. This place is great for groups, parties, and private functions like weddings, anniversaries, children's parties and birthdays. They have pre-fixed dinners ready in a buffet style. The prices per person are reasonable from $38 to $54. You can have steaks, seafood, chicken, pork, salads, many different side dishes. There is something for everyone. They also have Specialty Drinks and desserts. We enjoyed steak and chicken, which were pretty good. We picked potatoes as a side fish and salad. Service was good. We had fun playing games and talking about old times. There is a private parking lot for guests. I enjoyed my time there.

Went for a birthday brunch. The mimosas flowed endlessly and the service was amazing. The servers in our room - the Neuport Room- were fantastic and attentive. I said it was for a birthday but didn't ask for anything special. Towards the end of our meal a column of servers behind a flaming candle in a piece of cake sang and celebrated and made our birthday boy feel special. The food had a couple of misses but was on the whole a hit. There was something for everyone. The roast beef was a little tough and the english muffin on the eggs Benedict had been out too long but the egg was perfectly poached. I had an omelette to order and it was delicious. I think we ate enough crab legs for an army. Want to definitely do this again soon. We had a great time.
Went here for a wedding and let's just say they need to do some updates ASAP. The positive is the staff was really nice (though one smelled like a back of cigarettes) In addition to the decor, the food fell flat. The rolls were hard or stale. The salad needed more dressing. The salmon was good and the service was nice. The wait staff was really nice, but food and decor were not inviting. I'm glad I went to experience it because it's such a popular place, but I don't think I'm going back. However, I do encourage others to check it out and hope the experience is better for them. Enjoy!
Came here for the Miami Spice menu, everything we both ordered was absolutely delicious, flavor was out of this world and pretty reasonably priced for what you were getting. it was a very nice restaurant with a great ambiance, soft jazz, and a real open fire. the only reason i'm deducting two stars is unfortunately due to service, i will say they might have been very busy with what looked like a huge meeting, but cutlery was taken and not replaced, water cups would go dry while we couldn't find anyone for water. And i did get home with wicked nausea after the carbonara, which unfortunately made me sick :(
You can't beat this deal for Sunday brunch. Come hungry and leave barely breathing... so much delicious food and fresh. The paella style rice is delicious. Crab legs, eat as much as your body lets you. The octopus and calamari salad was incredible and they make delicious eggs Benedict the desserts are ok but I rather stuff my face hole with all their delicious treats. And mimosas to wash it down. Service is pretty decent, sometimes they give them too many tables. And the atmosphere is great, specially for Sunday brunch when they have a pianist covering so many songs. I would recommend coming here for brunch and expandable clothing.
My friend told me bring your appetite and let me tell you he wasn't kidding. They have 3 different rooms filled with food, the breakfast area, the carving area, seafood galore, desserts pastries like I had probably 4 plates and didn't even get a 1/4 of what they offered. The guy who was filling waters, juice and picking up plates was a magician. I loved it!
The food was very good and the portions were generous. I didn't like that we didn't have the option of ordering à la carte and winter spice only because we had a party of 11. It was also a big deal to get separate checks although we grouped the checks. We were told other restaurants don't do that except for them which is not true. Many places break up the checks. Also, you would think for a larger party, the birthday desert would be complimentary, but it was not.

The food is Delicious and it offers a wide variety of selections and high quality! The Management and Staff does their very best to offer each customer a Delightful Experience! The Patrons enjoy the food during an enchanting scene while sitting at the table and taking in that romantic dim lite and subtle music while the moon brightens the sky!! The experience transcends you into another time we're you are able to live out your romantic experiences with your significant other!!! During family time you are able to enjoy the Celebration of your Birthday which is Highlighted by the Restaurant Employees Unique Happy Birthday Song!! The Restaurant is also Pet Friendly to your Service Dogs! We recommend that you try out the Restaurant and transcend yourself into a personal experience of your choosing!!!!!
The food was extremely delicious. It was presented well (as shown) and it lived up to the standards. The restaurant was clean and had a very nice atmosphere for a date or catching up with friends. The service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, attentive, and kind. We will definitely be going back!
Service was honestly not great. The food was decent. But the best part of this place are the air traffic control tower headsets by the tables and watching the planes land.

I was a little apprehensive about visiting because the IG page for this place was a little dated but I'm soooo happy my friends ended up convincing me to come because I really enjoyed it! LOVED the complexity of Aero Squadron. Feels like an upscale experience but the vibe overall is more relaxed and lowkey (dressed down). Service was freaking impeccable. I mean it when I said they KEPT the drinks flowing. Literally can't recall a single time that I got to see the bottom of my mimosa glass. Soon as an ounce went missing BOOM, they filled it right back up (which is a dangerous game to play when you start forgetting what drink you're on haha). They were ON IT. We were greeted as soon as we got to the table and I love how they have the aviation headphones for us to listen to the planes while eating! Super cool concept! Sometimes buffets are a double edged sword because you pay for an influx of food sometimes and end up feeling that it's of mediocre quality but I didn't feel that way at all at Aero Squadron! The food was flavorful and there was a nice array of everything. I enjoyed the (couple of) plates that I had! Will 10000% be returning and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice lowkey scenic brunch (if you're into planes)!

Now, it was a loud atmosphere that played live music and had a lively crowd, but I personally loved it. If you want something quiet then this place isn't for you. I recently attended a baby shower at this restaurant, and although I had heard of it before, this was my first visit. I typically avoid driving to Miami, so I was grateful that my friend offered to drive -- and I'm even more grateful that I didn't miss out on such a lovely experience. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and genuinely enjoyable. The staff was attentive throughout the event, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that guests felt well cared for. The private room reserved for the shower was impressively comfortable. Even with a large number of attendees, the space felt open, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged. I've only ever been for lunch, and each visit has been a very pleasant experience. The food is always good, the staff is friendly, and the relaxed setting makes it a great spot to watch planes take off and land, especially if your kids are fascinated by airplanes! The restaurant has an old, historic charm that I actually really appreciate. The only downside is that it can sometimes smell a little stale, which does reflect the age of the restaurant, but it's not unbearable and honestly isn't something I noticed until someone else pointed it out. All in all, it's definitely not a reason to stay away. I really like this restaurant, and the food never disappoints. The Chicken Paillard (pictured) is AMAZING!! read more

Dining at 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Making a reservation was incredibly easy, online and the team was very accommodating, which made planning our visit stress-free. I went for dinner on a Sunday with my grandmother, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The atmosphere is unique and charming, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening. They offer headphones and listening experience of the air traffic control of the Miami International Airport. The staff is dressed to the 9s. We had a server named Alex and he delivered. Also the tables had white cloth, which felt fancy, but the prices were reasonable. The portions were generous and satisfying, definitely great value for the quality of the food. Everything we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. I ordered the Mahi-Mahi Scampi. Overall, it was a memorable evening, and I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a special dining experience in Miami. The views are one of a kind. Love this restaurant! It has a unique design and very nice view. You can watch the airplanes fly by you as you enjoy your meal with loved ones :) We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday (actually last year too thats just how much she loves this place) and the service was great as always. Everyone loved their food and everything had a tasty flavor. The spinach dip and cocktail shrimp were a nice appetizer! They even passed out complimentary bread; it was nice, warm, and crunchyy. Everyone at the table had a filet mignon with the shrimp scampi combo except for my father and i. He got the seafood collage and i got the rack of lamb. Everything delicious! And for dessert, we got a chocolate lava cake. It was phenomenal!! It came with vanilla ice cream, and they sang my sister happy birthday Overall an amazing experience:) read more

BEST BRUNCH EVER!!!! I landed here one Sunday thinking I was going to try their Miami Spice menu for lunch. When we walked in, it was the most amazing brunch spread I had ever seen. A cook making fresh egg dishes, all the fruits and pastries plus everything from seafood, to chicken to beef dishes and all the sides. And of course, bacon! So I immediately changed my mind about Miami Spice Come to find out, they weren't even serving their Miami Spice menu until dinner. I usually don't care for buffet style setups but for this, I made an exception! read more

I visited this establishment on Christmas for dinner. We were a party of 7, the first half of our party arrived first. When I arrived the hostess didn't even bother to walk me to the table and just pointed to where it was. The server was pretty nice and friendly. I loved that we were able to see the planes taking off, this added a nice touch to the dining experience. The restaurant was pretty quiet and not overly crowded. Which is why I was surprised that the table we were placed at seemed a little odd. We were at a table that was clearly made for only 6. At first I just thought they didn't have tables that would accommodate 7 but as I continued to look around there were better table options. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. I ordered the New York steak, it came with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. The potatoes were amazing but the steak wasn't as flavorful as I expected it to be. Stepping into this place feels like stepping into 1990s cheesiness with a keyboard player playing covers, dingy, the dark wood everywhere, and 90s instrumental versions of songs playing everywhere. The buffet options are limitless with an impressive amount of crab legs and oysters. For $45 for bottomless mimosas AND food. This is a Miami hidden gem!! This was my first time here, my husband used to eat here when he was a kid. Service was very good. Loved the view and watching the planes come and go. The menu had lots of choices and food was good. A wedding reception was being set up and it looked beautiful. What a cool building and it's so out of place in Miami, which I appreciate. read more

The French onion soup, the calamari were delicious. The white Sangria with brandy was a taste treat. My husband steak was good and prepared well. I enjoyed the chicken Parmesan but it wished there was a bit more sauce. We had a good time and enjoyed the atmosphere and watching the planes taking off at the airport. We first met there on a blind date about 47 or more years ago. So it was a nostalgic wedding anniversary celebration(4 for us. We had a good time and the server was attentive. I plan on suggesting it as place my grandchildren would enjoy as well. The headphones and watching planes will be a unique experience for them. read more

Sunday brunch is a unique, great experience. If you can, sut by the windows and watch the planes take off and land at MIA's international and cargo runways. The food selection is vast. An extensive breakfast bar with waffles, potatoes, bacon,sausage, eggs benedict, and made-to-order omelets or fresh made eggs your way. The "regular food room is vast with varying arrays of salads, hot meat dishes, hot fish dishes, lamb, chicken, ribs, veggies, a carving station, a kids table, and a large selection of cold shellfish (including shrimp, oysters, crab legs, etc),and if you have room at the end, a large selection of desserts. Mimosas, OJ, coffee, and tea are included. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

This review is about the Sunday buffet brunch. At $45 and change, it's the best deal in town. Oysters, smoked salmon, peel and eat shrimp, cheeses, salads, paella, lamb, beef, etc, desserts of all kinds, including a chocolate fountain, and, on top of all that, unlimited champagne and mimosas! Service is great, large and free parking lot, and you get to watch the airplanes taking off and landing. I can't wait to go back. read more
