    Blackened yellowtail sandwich
    Jessica G.

With Miami finally experiencing cool weather, we sat outside and enjoyed a nice lunch with a beautiful view of the golf course. The blackened yellowtail sandwich was the best thing at the table! My youngest son ordered it, and it was such a big portion everyone was able to take a bite! It was great. There was a pickled mustard seed sauce that came with it. That was a little overpowering so we didn't use it. My son used ranch instead. I ordered the fish tacos and they did not disappoint either. They had a nice portion of fish. (which I can't say for the Biltmore shrimp tacos served poolside with barely 2 shrimp per taco!) My husband had the tuna salad wrap, and he was not impressed at all. He didn't even finish it. My oldest son had the Caesar salad wrap and though it was a little better than the tuna salad wrap it wasn't that great either. The waffle fries were a little chewy. Either way, we are locals and love dining at the Biltmore so we will be back to try some new things.

The service was exceptional and all the servers were attentive, constantly providing water which is a plus! We ordered the chorizo and blood sausage morcilla for an appetizer. I was skeptical about the blood sausage but WOW, it was delicious. The house bread, not pictured, was so good. It was served with a blue cheese spread. We all ordered steaks with a perfectly seasoned salad, side of mash potatoes or fries. Love that our steaks were cooked to perfection. Flan was a perfect finish to a great dinner experience

They offer bread service, but I was taken aback when the dipping sauce was a blue cheese spread and not butter. It was quite interesting tasting, but not terrible either (I just wish they told us before I got the flavor shock). The service was very attentive and our food came out promptly. We also tried their tortellini Aurora pasta dish which was very good. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again would be the mushroom dip. It was just so much food and so heavy/greasy. Maybe if we had a large group of 4 people to share it would make sense, but just for two people I would rather have gotten something else.

We probably had 3 different servers, I loved how they all worked together. They were all friendly and polite; Alegra was the one we talked to the most, she was terrific. On to the food, we loved it! We had a Morrocan Spice Avo Toast with a poached egg, it was delicious!! Had to take half home. We also ordered Pope Benedict and WOW was it good. The hash browns were crispy, the eggs were perfect and the cauliflower purée delicious. I wanted there to be more of it! We also had a perfectly made latte served in a glass who I love and a calming refresher, so good. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go! Can't wait to go back and try other things.

It's not your typical Cuban dishes as I initially anticipated but it's their twist on staple dishes and drinks. We were also pleasantly surprised that it was happy hour when we arrived. To drink, I tried the Vanilla Carajillo, which is their take on espresso martini, and it was delicious. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but I enjoyed this drink. Between 6-7 pm, they have 99 cents martini. I ordered one and it was very strong, dirty and delicious. To eat, we tried a few dishes. We first started with Beltran's Bacon. It was the best thickest bacon I have tried. We also ordered the Bao con Croqueta and it was delicious. This twist to bao buns was very interesting but the flavors worked very well together. As the main entree, I had the Plantain Crusted Snapper and it was so tasty. It came with a lot of mojo onions, which I enjoyed. The snapper was cooked to perfection. As a dessert, we tried the Arroz con Leche Blintz and it was so tasty. I've never had anything like this and I loved it. The best way to describe it like a rice pudding in a crepe with fruits on top. I would definitely return to this establishment again and either order different dishes or repeating the ones I tried already because they were that good. The service was amazing as the ladies kept checking in on us. We did have to ask them to replace a cup as there was something in it and they immediately did it. We were there talking for a few hours and not once did we feel rushed. They also provided some amazing suggestions from the menu and I'm glad we listened to them because everything was delicious. I absolutely love when the hype is real for places like Chug's Diner.

It is a lovely patio to sit out on and I love the decor touches and the overall vibe. The service tends to always be slow but the servers are all friendly. Don't head out here if you are starving. The pigs in a blanket are quite tasty as are the latkes. The lox there is spot on and one of the few places I'll get lox. The tower is quite beautiful as well. Everything here is expensive, but well done. A winning spot for a leisurely brunch on a beautiful day.

What's the deal with breakfast places that don't believe in breakfast?…read more The restaurant looks great. Beautiful lighting, stylish design, gorgeous bathrooms. You walk in and think, Wow, this place has it together. That feeling lasts until you sit down. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to greet us. Not busy ignoring us--just slowly realizing we existed. No water. No hello. Just eye contact from across the room like, I'll get to you eventually. I order French toast. Very simple. A classic. Bread. Heat. That's it. I get my omelette--poorly prepared--and a latke that somehow managed to be raw in the middle. Not undercooked. Raw. Like the potato was still considering a career change. I finish my entire meal. Table is completely empty. Done. Finished. Closure. And then... the French toast arrives. Now here's where it gets interesting. I say, "Oh, I think this was forgotten." And the waiter says, "No, that's dessert." Dessert. At breakfast. Who is ordering dessert for breakfast? What kind of confidence do you need to say that out loud? And if it's dessert, why wasn't it suggested as dessert? Why wasn't the table cleared? Why does it feel like the French toast just wandered out here on its own? Then we argue about it. I don't want to argue about French toast. That's not where I thought my day was headed. This place feels like a design firm said, "Let's absolutely nail the vibe... and then just see what happens with the food." Save your money. Save your time. If you want ambiance, go in, admire the lighting, use the bathroom, and leave. If you want breakfast, go somewhere that agrees with the concept of breakfast. Because right now, Sadelle's is serving confusion--with a side of toast.
