It was exactly what we needed before hitting a Red Bulls game. We were in the area grabbing a few drinks across the street and decided a slice would be the perfect addition. They seem to have a pretty big menu, but we settled on two slices of Margarita pizza. After a quick warm-up, we picked up these giant slices and enjoyed every bite. Not fancy, but that's ok....the flavor was there and the crust was tasty. read more

Came here after flying in late. I loved that was about a 15 minute drive from Newark airport and that they were open until 11 pm on a weekday. Paid around $8 for 2 slices of pizza (one cheese, one pepperoni). Slices were generous. The taste and quality of pizza great. It was exactly what I needed after a long flight. They have a really extensive menu with tons of options to choose from. It is was a bit overwhelming to look through but I love the variety offered. The woman behind counter was very welcoming and sweet. It was a quiet spot with 6 tables where you can with a group of 4. The only issue is looking for street parking as the area is quite busy. read more

Really good service food was delicious. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10. Area was very clean and neat.

Not happy at all. I was going to post a scathing review but decided not to. I only ate the crust and drank the soda that came with it. I also drank more 'Corona Refresca Más Mango Citrus' than pizza. I am going back out to get some fried rice. read more

This was the only pizza joint open within walking distance after a long day traveling here. The place was clean and the staff were pleasant. We didn't order fresh because we didn't want to wait so we order a cheese slice and buffalo slice along with garlic knots and pizza rolls. Who knows how long they were on display for but the food didn't disappoint. The garlic knots and rolls very really good. I could have a couple of them and be full. The pizza was how I prefer. Thin and crackery. Flavor was good. Sizes were very big for the price. read more

I came in with an open mind looking for a chicken gyro and I was blessed. The chicken was very tender and juicy. The fries were not too hard and not too soft. My interest was piqued and I ordered a slice of pepperoni and was so pleased. I unfortunately ate it before I took a picture of it but what was so appealing was the fact that it had more than enough pepperoni, unlike other pizza places that don't put enough. Overall my experience eating here was great and I'd definitely recommend ordering from here. read more

I would avoid their pizza, not the best in the area (at all). Their specialty is their wings (19 different kinds of sauces) so hook yourself up with some of that yumminess. I tried their 10-pc wings with Buffalo Gold sauce and Hot & Spicy Garlic sauce. Buffalo Gold is the true winner though - tangy mustard sauce mixed in with BBQ. The hot & spicy garlic sauce was unique in flavor, but not quite sure how to really describe its taste. Definitely a lot of garlic bits, but not that WHAM-BAM garlic flavor. Also, I noted this even before I went. In Tony Bourdain's "No Reservation's" New Jersey episode, they do replays of a drive-by passing La Pizza at least 5x throughout that episode. Mr. Owner-Man, you really should post some sort of ad about that on your windows :). The owner is the nicest guy ever - incredibly accommodating, incredibly kind and he even rounded our bill down tonight just to keep it even. read more

La Pizza has OK food, good prices and abhorrent service. Besides ordering food from this location uneventfully on several occasions, here's why this location doesn't deserve your business. On 10/28/2018 I was returning to my condo on a busy street when a parked car with the La Pizza topper was left unattended with its hazard lights on. As a result, I had to stop and wait in traffic for the driver to return and move his car. If my phone hadn't died right then, I'd have called a policeman to issue a citation or at least taken a proper photo of the license plate. Instead all I've got is dashcam video of it, which isn't enough to issue a summons to the business. Anyway, the owner's response explains why they're not deserving of your business. I called the location and explained what had occurred. The owner acknowledged it and apologized eventually, to which I explained I was not satisfied. I showed up the following business day and explained once again - the owner, again, didn't care one bit. He didn't care that I was inconvenienced one bit. I don't know about you, but if I had a delivery driver impede someones access to their home I'd at the VERY LEAST least acknowledge that the driver was incorrect to have done so. That's literally all I ever wanted, though it'd be nice to know the owner cared more. For these reasons and more I cannot recommend La Pizza. read more

This place is a hit or miss, one day I am eating one of the best pizzas I've ever had in NNJ and the next day I am like " WTF is this"

La Pizza is our go to place for pizza, very friendly staff, delivery personnel & reasonable prices. Delivery personnel always walk food to our door instead of leaving it with the doorman downstairs - small details matter & keep us coming back. Highly recommend! read more

I recently moved to Harrison, and am absolutely loving it! Awesome community, easy commute to NYC and pretty close access to all major NJ routes/roads. What I feel Harrison is lacking, is quality food. Both take-out joints and classy restaurants (Tops excluded). I came across La Pizza on my way home and ordered two days in a row, ordering a diverse random selection. Their pizza slices are huge, like a quarter of a pie huge! And cheap...like super cheap! One slice feels me up and with their 2 slice + can of soda for $5 combo, consider them feeding the masses at an affordable price! The crust and base are solid. No complaints of the sauce and the cheese is a healthy (yet not too cheesy) serving. Their wings are great! Cheap and a fresh and meaty bite. They have 20+ flavors offering diversity with every order. Overall, this is a welcomed resturant in Harrison that I will be frequently grabbing food from! read more

Slices from two different pizzas: one cheese and one pepperoni. How can you go THAT wrong? What a horrible pizza! It did not hold and was mushy and disgusting. Picked them up at the store, had a few bites and threw them away. It's not about the money... for me, it's the fact this was the worse pizza I've had in decades... ever. read more

Awful. Horrible. Gross disgusting. Bland EPP sandwich. Sicilian Pizza, Weird taste. bad aftertaste. Strange smell. Like detergent. Hard dough. SP dough should be light and airy with some crunch. This was hard. Tough. Just the worst. Waste of money. Never gain. read more

Love La Pizza!! Their pizza is good and their wings delicious!! The owners are also very nice people!! I order from them all the time.

Decent pizza for the price. My son loves pizza so we visit here often for their 2 slices and drink special.

Tough to review this place. The pizza is good and the wings used to be good. I have no idea what happened to the wings. I just ordered last night, 25 wings, with mild sauce. They were delivered quickly but OMG, they were so very heavily floured and breaded, with the sauce on top, they turned into a giant gloppy mushy mess. Sheets of breaking sliding off. Geez, what happened to this place, they used to make such great wings. Now the wings almost remind me of the Banquet frozen dinner chicken, except Banquet is better. So disappointed. No one ate them, everyone was like, ew. read more

horrible. do not order from this establishment. everything i ordered was gross. from the so called boneless wings that looked like ends of chicken breasts to the dry chicken picatta with pasta and ending it with some oily fries and cheesesteak. never again. don't spend your money there, trust me. ok should have believed the negative reviews. shame on me but dont let it be shame on read more

So I've ordered from this place before for delivery and they normally get the job done. Regular food at a regular price and they deliver. Good so far right? Wrong. I just placed an order for delivery as I've done before and they cancelled the order. No call. No text. No explanation. No nothing. This place is about 9 mins away from me. So I call them to ask what's going on and the explanation I get is because they "don't want to deliver because they think it's a dangerous area." Wow. Sounds fishy to me but oh well. I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but horrible service of this caliber can't go unnoticed. read more

Bought a large pepperoni pizza and wings. The pizza crust was thin, pie was greasy, sauce was ok. I would give them another try but order an extra large instead. The large was closer to a medium size pizza. The wings were breaded and did have great flavor. Delivery wasn't the usual around my area, 45-65 mins it was a bit faster. read more

La Pizza translates to "The Pizza" and if youre in Harrison look for THE pizza, then go to 'La Pizza' I needed my fix of cheese pizza and wings for the NFL playoff games on sunday so i made my waay to la pizza to try out what theyre rendition of the gluttonous classic provided The family who tuns the joint was extremely warm and attentive as soon as I walked in. The owner/pizza maker reassured me the time of how long it would take my pizza to be done without me asking. I left and enjoyed it at home. Within an hour the whole pie was gone. Each bite was increasingly addicting as the combo of herbs in the sauce meet the perfect layer of cheese and crispy dough. "The flop" thaT has become annoyingly prevalent as a measure of rating NJ/NY slices was perfect, yet each bite an incredibly satisfying crispy crunch to it. IM normally not a fan of wings with breading, but these wings were drenched beautiFully in a great tasting, tangy buffalo sauce. This is my new favorite pizza joint by far read more

We went for lunch because we had eaten there last year and enjoyed it. Two of us had the house specialty pizza. Fabulous. We had the sautéed spinach in garlic and oil with Parmesan cheese appetizer. We could have had two each as they were melt in your mouth delicious. Unbelievable. The broccoli rabe pasta meal was also fantastic. This is a lot more than you'd ever experience at a standard pizza place. This is a fabulous Italian restaurant that also serves pizza! Don't miss the wine list..this place is a gem read more

I stop here randomly being on the trip to Canada. I'm really happy about my experience! The stuff was friendly and the Panini... mmm was unbelievable fresh and juicy. I got to meet the owner very friendly person, I guess he just took over the business! Jumbo slices the size of your face. The best part of any pizza is the first bite of the tip, their slice is good all the way to the crust because it is thin loaded with sauce. I always stop in when I'm in the area. They have a special 2 slices and a soda for 5.00. read more

I have been to going this place since my college days. A nice place to hang around with friends and have slice and drink.

Def one of the Best in Town and they have been here since 1999 so they are obviously doing something right... The food is delicious and the staff are all good people especially the Owner Ricky! Their Pizza is so good and the best thing on the menu is the Boneless Wings!!! The Teriyaki Sauce can be drank with a straw its so friggin good!!! Don't judge a book by its cover, I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area who wants some good food... read more

This is the best local pizza money can buy, I have been eating here for several years, but the thing to eat here is the garlic knots (beware of garlic breath). They also have excellent wings the only down side is that its breaded wings. I have eaten several things from their menu and have never been disappointed including their deli sandwiches. The staff is extremely friendly. read more

Biggest disappointment for wings, the texture was pruned as if they were old and taste was bleh...25 of these suckers straight to trash

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Owner/workers are so kind! Pizza is delicious and reasonably priced.

It might not be the best pizza in town but it's the cheapest (2 large pies for $15.99!) and I can walk to pick it up so it wins. Very thin crust, kind of oily, might even have too much cheese. But when you're watching a game at home or just don't feel like cooking because it's 306 degrees outside....then pick up a six-pack at Lito's and a couple of pies from La Pizza and you're good to go! read more

Been coming here since i was 10 years old best pizza in town great staff and the owner is a good friend since I was a kid highly recommended

I've stopped here once or twice and only got the two slices and a soda for $5 deal. It's just... okay. The crust is thin, but the sauce to cheese ratio is all off... I don't know, it just doesn't do it for me. I'm tempted to give the wings a shot, though. read more

I would say the pizza and wraps are sub-par. Nothing too amazing but not terrible. They deliver on time and you get what you pay for. If you want an affordable meal in a short amount of time, but you don't have huge expectations in terms of taste then I'd say give it a shot. read more

This is a great pizza place for anytime you are in a rush or just looking for a great slice of pizza. The pizza is very high quality and large slices that are filling but cheap. The best part about this pizza place is the service. The pizza was fresh and cooked quickly, and the staff brought it to our table and talked to us for a little. It made me feel at home. The staff was super nice and ready to fill any special request you had. read more
