This place used to be good, last 2 Sundays got an uncooked sloppy ass pizza couldn't have been in the oven more then 5 minutes. The fact that they have no problem sending this junk out to their customers speaks volumes. July 17 was in a mood for a cold sub so I googled a few places to try to find an Italian pizzeria or a sandwich shop. Came to Napolis and ordered just that an Italian sub ham cheese, salami, lettuce, tomato no onions oregano mayonnaise on both sides of bread and oil and vinegar when he says it's ready. I take the sandwich and I pay for my meal then I realized that the bread is toasted and the sandwich is hot, which makes it not a cold sub. When I said something he said he had to toast the bread if I didn't want to toast it, I should've told him I'm like wait. I shouldn't have to say it. I don't want to toast it because it takes away from it being a cold sub. He said no we have to toast the bread I was like, but that's not a cold sub. It doesn't make sense anyway I left. I went to the car and realized that the salami was cut super thick. They use tomato wedges and roaming lettuce instead of shredded lettuce. I'm not an expert but in my wrong and assuming that that is not a cold sub? I asked for a refund he said he couldn't give me a refund that I would have to order something else left it in the hands of my bank. If you're gonna use an Italian name to advertise your pizzeria, let's at least follow the Italian way cause what you sold. It was definitely not a cold. read more

A solid local pizza place. I ordered takeout from here. They have an extensive menu with all your Italian and deli favorites. I got a penne vodka pizza, Caesar salad, appetizer sampler, and wings. Everything was very tasty and the portions were generous. The penne vodka pizza had a ton of pasta on it. The sauce was great and nicely balanced out the crispy crust. The appetizer sampler was perfect for sharing and included mozzarella sticks, fried zucchini, chicken fingers and fries. Something for everyone. The wings had a nice spicy kick to them and came with a large cup of blue cheese. The salad also came with bread. Overall, I would recommend this place. Food arrived during the estimated time frame. It was delivered by a friendly employee of Napoli's. I ordered food for friends as well, the comments here include their opinions as well. The hot eggplant sandwich was okay but eggplant was mushy. The sausage and meatball sandwiches were okay but sauce was very acidic, making them inedible beyond a few bites, because the sauce created indigestion. The meatball side order was likewise inedible only because of the highly acidic tomato sauce, not because the meatballs were bad. The Grandma pizza slice was a disappointment as it had mozzarella on it. Other than it being a thinner crust than the sicilian pizza there is no real difference. Grandma pizza is not supposed to have mozzarella cheese, it is basically a tomato pie with grated cheese and no other cheese. The sicilian slice was okay but not the best I've ever had. The order was delivered on time, and exactly as ordered, including the extra sauce and sides of hot pepper flakes and oregano asked for. I would order from Napoli's again but nothing with their sauce on it because of the acidity. It's a good choice for people staying in Newark Airport area hotels for sure. read more

Being from newark, when u ask for an Italian cheeseburger u expect a cheeseburger on a hoagie with fries on top, and a California is on a round bun with lettuce and tomatoes. I used to love purchasing pizza from this place every single time. It was my go-to spot with friends and my favorite place to put in an order for pizza nights. These past few months, however, things have drastically changed in regards to the food. The pizza I used to order every single time has changed significantly in flavor. The dough and cheese for the pepperoni pizza tastes off. It's not the same. The anti-pesto pizza doesn't taste the same either. The ranch tastes different. At first I thought it was just an off-day again and reordered the same thing some weeks after and found myself being disappointed once again. We ordered cheese pizza which was great. I also ordered caesar salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was the thinnest chicken I've ever had on a salad and it was grilled to blackness like burned. It had cucumbers in it which was new to me in a caesar salad. I order buffalo chicken wings and they still had feathers on some of them. Not visually appealing at all. We threw those away. So I am not from around here and I always turn to yelp and generally I'm not let down, that is until this place. I placed an order to be delivered and the manager is the one that took my order and was completely rude. He acted as if I was interrupting him . My order showed up wrong and all of the toppings had slid to one side. I posted a picture. I called to get it replaced and even tough the order was wrong he still charged me the difference because the crust I wanted was $4 more, reluctantly I paid because it's what I wanted but I do not recommend this place at all. The food is good but not above average so he can keep his headaches. Ok,  at first, gave Napoli bad review, I changed my review because the second pizza I received was absolutely perfect and the flavor was awesome! The Pizza was hot and fresh. On top of that the Manger/Owner called me back to make sure that it was good and at the same time let me know that he had seen my review. He wanted to know what else he could do to make it right, and from that, I was completely impressed because this showed me that he cares about his product as well as his customers. Ordered from my local airport hotel room Delivery stated 40 minutes arrived in 55 minutes. Still very warm and young man was clean cut and friendly. So even though I was hungry I was not too upset about late delivery as traffic at 7/8 pm can be heavy here. Pizza was thinner crust which is my favorite so I got excited thinking that this would.be a good one Toppings were generous, esp peppers, onions and mushrooms. It looked good. The taste perhaps the most important part fell short. Pretty bland, not to tasty and the ample veggies as stated earlier were really the only items that had flavor. Crust cheese and sauce were bland. The pizza was what I would expect. Tasty, thin crust. The meatballs and sausage were great. If you don't like oil, it may not be for you as it was pretty greasy. But, it is sausage and meatballs!!
