I love this place. Its got the biggest slices! They even have some lunch specials for kids. The prices are affordable. You can add a topping to the cheese pizzas too. The service is quick. They have a sit down area and its frequented by the locals. Love coming here when I'm in the area. read more

this place is terrible. i called and ordered a penne vodka pizza. and they brought me pasta and wings. when i called the restaurant they said they couldn't help me. great delivery driver, he was so kind and understanding. but the lady answering the phones is rude. never ordering from here ever again. read more

Yum! Went in for the XL pizza. I think it is 28" in diameter. They give you trays with a liner instead of paper plates. Paper plates would be too small. Pizza was delicious. We will be going back again. read more

Pizza night Saturday brought us to Gina's in Harrison. Looking at the variety of the menu, I had very high hopes. Realistically, it's a 1.5 stars but I rounded up. It began with ordering via phone. I ordered... Our usual Buffalo Chicken pie, a penne Vodka Pie with chicken, mozzarella sticks and a meatball and pepper sandwich with mozzarella. Never heard of that combo, so it got my attention. Parking is street parking in an extremely busy Harrison area. After circling a few times, we finally found a spot across the street on the side street. I walked in and the girl hands me one pizza box with two bags. I explained I ordered two pizzas... And looks at the bill the person over the phone wrote down and instead of a penne Vodka Pie, they gave me a penne Vodka dinner. She asked if I just wanted that instead. Obviously I said no. One of the reasons why this made it as high as 2 starts is because the girl was EXTREMELY apologetic. Ultimately, they made me another pie while my other food just sat there. ZERO compensation was offered. Not even a can of soda while I waited another 15 minutes. Brutal customer service on the owner's part. While this is going on.... One of their delivery drivers that was illegally parked behind me, hit my car and was trying to push it forward because the other deliver truck was also illegally parked behind him and on his bumper. How do I know? My wife was in the passenger seat waiting for me!!!! She got out and said, What are you doing??? After he finally played ping pong on the cats, He then pulled up to the driver side and was screaming at her through the window. Only reason he left was because the lines of cars behind him was beeping nonstop. My wife said it was a black truck that the delivery driver was driving. We finally get home. Open the mozzarella sticks and our son AND his friend both say it looks like school mozzarella sticks. They were equally as soggy and subpar. I opened the sandwich that housed my meatball, pepper and mozzarella sandwich and immediately saw..... No mozzarella. This can't get any worse. Sadly, the sandwich was actually pretty good. The mozz would've made it awesome. The peppers worked, the sauce was good and the meatballs were very good. The pizza.... The Buffalo Chicken pie was below average at best. Crust was way too chewy and it was very dry. Then again... it was sitting there while they made the pizza they originally didn't make. The penne Vodka Pie with chicken was also below average. Next to no sauce, so it's almost impossible to say how their Vodka sauce is. Chicken was also dry on this. Possibly cut up chicken fingers?? I'm not sure. Sadly, we attempted to go outside our normal haunts to experiment and this was all around just an $82 bad experience. You may want to pass this one up. read more

food was less than satisfactory. service was memorable, delivery guy handed me a large box with my order inside. I it carried to my room only to find the bottom of the box was soaked in grease. also, delivering a $100 order to a hotel, throw in more than one fork and zero napkins. maybe a few paper plates that weren't there to absorb the grease. read more

Yummy. Fast service, not greasy. Garlic knots sometimes are not cooked all the way but if u ask they ll make sure it's cooked well. The pizza is always on point . I don't go inside to eat so couldn't tell u but delivery is great. Their Pizza is good cold too lol ! read more

Have been ordering from Gina's for over ten years but on our last two orders we were so disappointed. Ordered about two weeks ago an Italian hotdog, two slices and an antipasto salad. The Italian hotdog which was always a favorite was downright disgusting. Potatoes were overcooked and dry, hotdog was so overcooked and dried out and bread looked like top was toasted but bottom was as hard as a rock. The two slices were cold and crust was beyond crispy and the antipasto which was always a favorite was . The oil and vinegar were on the side and there was no ham and cheese rolled up in it. So two weeks later we try again thinking maybe the previous time we ordered was just an off day for them. This time we ordered wings which were okay but they forgot the blue cheese, the fries were limp and soggy, the antipasto again was a disappointment. Tomatoes were mushy and again no ham and cheese rolled up in it but the salad was dressed in oil and vinegar. Garlic knots were overcooked and near black on tops and garlic werent even edible. Don't want to try a third time do sadly it's time to move on read more

The pizza was bland and just okay. The employees were nice and served with a smile. And for that reason I am giving a couple stars. The location was also clean. I got the Rodeo pizza and a pepperoni slice and it was very mid. I even ordered a side of marinara to help and it didn't. It was still super dry. Overall, the pizza is mid but maybe the other menu items are better. I will say staff make the experience better though. read more

I had Gina's for the second time today and, as much as I want to like it, I don't think I'll be getting it for a third time. It's sufficiently good, but I was unhappy with the quantities of toppings. For example, I got pepperoni and eggplant on my pizza today (see photo). Adding pepperoni cost $3. There were about 2.5 pepperoni slices on each of my slices of pizza, so about 20 pepperoni slices total. Is that worth $3? Or is 2.5 pieces of pepperoni enough for a slice of pepperoni pizza? In my opinion, no, not nearly. I would've also liked more eggplant. On the plus side, They were very fast delivery. read more

we ordered a salad, pizza, a water and Diet Coke, side of ranch. Salad was brown, side of ranch was poured on top of pizza, they sent a powerade instead of diet coke. pizza was a 3/10. we do not recommend this establishment. read more

The pizza was very good. I'm a truck driver from socal and was stuck in Harrison waiting for a load for a b6 out a day and decided to order a pizza to be delivered to my truck I'm assuming that the bar down the street orders pizza frequently because that's where they tried to deliver after getting a call from the driver I finally got my pizza. Well worth the wait. It was some type of deep dish with everything on it. Will be ordering again. Thanks Gina's!!!! read more

Stopped here with my 6 year old to grab a quick slice before an appointment and was and was surprised when the cashier asked me if I would like my son pizza cut up into pieces. In my head I'm like lol he's six years old. Then the huge slices arrived and I was in Pizza Heaven. Omg so cheesy, crunchy crust and so tasty. I have been to a few restaurants where they serve huge slices and they usually pretty expensive and soggy but not here. The prices are very cheap compared to the amount of food that you're getting. The crust is so crunchy and I love a crunchy crust. My son loves pizza and has named this place his new favorite restaurant. Also the sauage on my pizza was so good. The service here is also amazing. The staff is so nice and attentive. I can not wait to go back. read more

Having grown up in Harrison and Kearny - I ate more than a few times at Gina's over the years - but then you blink and you realize it's been a good 20 years since the last time you actually went there. You throw the kids in the car and venture down to Harrison the entire time telling them stories about how good the Italian hot dog was and how big their pizza was (including a time when we had their XL pizza delivered and it honestly couldn't fit through a friend's screen door). You find parking (good luck with that!). You walk in and... there's a funky smell. The entire front of the house needs a visit (and update) from Gordon Ramsey. But you don't turn and run. I'm happy to report - the pizza is still big enough to fill up The BFG (any Roald Dahl fans out there?!) and the Italian hot dog is outrageously large and delicious. So i ordered take out last night it was pretty hard to get through the phone lines because it was busy (good and bad thing) lol! Thankfully we got through had our order taken. We got a call back saying there was an issues with our payment but the girl over the phone was so kind and took our payment. Shoutout to who ever called us because that customer service is on point ! Once we got our food the pizza was pretty big it looked absolutely delicious. We tried it and the cheese pull was a 9/10 i wish the pizza had more sauce but im not mad at it because it tasted great. We also got buffalo mild wings and it came with a generous amount of ranch. Fair warning the mild has a kick to it but gosh were they good! i'll definitely be ordering from here again! read more

Love this pizzeria!! They've been open for years! I recall coming here while in high school for their one slice and soda $5 deal. This deal still exists!! Let's add the fact that the slice is HUGE. All you need is one slice to feel filling. Now during my lunch breaks I try coming here once a week. Their drink varieties are good as they barely ever run out of options. You can see the cooks working hard. Not one worker is ever lounging. They're always hands on helping one another. Aside from pizza I've had their sausage rolls and chicken Caesar salad. Definitely can not complain about any meal I have ordered. Only downfall is parking. Parking can be hard to find since the place is located on a main avenue. I suggest parking on Central Ave which is their closest side street. read more

I immediately called the restaurant and asked them if I could get a replacement. They happily allowed me to order a chicken gyro and it was available really quickly. It was okay, but again not what I was expecting compared to the glowing reviews that it has. I think this will be a pass the next time I am in the Harisson area. Three stars for the quick replacement and kind customer service.

(Sadly it's Pavlovian for me to want/need a Clinton's iced tea when devouring a Stash's sub but that's no longer an option.) The staff carefully put together a teriyaki salad bowl, and pho for me in about 10 minutes. Once I got the food to my hotel room, I was genuinely impressed. The Pho was so rich in flavor, without being too salty. The noodles were the perfect texture. 10/10. A few hours later after the gym I cracked open the salad bowl. This was referred to me by the staff vs the lemon grass chicken. I am glad I listened, the amount of tender juicy chicken is impressive. The crispy lettuce, and robust tomatoes were a great combination of healthy, and hearty. Bahn & Bo deserves the accolades it's earned, and the one I made up at the beginning. Pro tip: The prices are so good, and so are the portion sizes. If you are looking for fresher, lighter, healthier, skip the Chipotle and Qdobas around the corner, and come here.
