From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted with a friendly hello and genuinely attentive service. The staff took their time explaining the menu, encouraged us to look things over, and offered recommendations without making us feel rushed. One of the best parts of the experience was the atmosphere. You can instantly tell Tony's is a true neighborhood staple. People were constantly coming in and out, and it was especially sweet seeing kids stopping by after school to grab a slice. It gave the place such an authentic and welcoming feel. I ordered the grilled chicken parmesan. It came with pasta, salad and dinner roll. They told me it will be delivered within the hour. It arrived within 30 minutes. It was hot and fresh. The chicken was thick and not breaded, but loaded with cheese. The spaghetti was cook just right. The dinner roll was tasty , but not hot. I called back to and explained that. The young woman on the phone was very polite and respectful and compensated me for the mishap. We just finished our first Tony's Pizza experience after a recommendation from the man who checked us into our airport hotel this afternoon. The prices are reasonable, the ingredients tasted fresh and our delivery arrived quickly. We got the wings with fries in addition to our pizza and I wasn't crazy about either, but my husband and son liked them. I appreciated the fact that they gave us two large ramekins of ranch with the wings though! Their menu has a veggie pizza that doesnt list cheese as an ingredient while all the other pizzas do. What comes on our pizza? CHEESE. we're all lactose intolerant! also, we in caps wrote NO MUSHROOMS because one of us is deathly allergic to mushrooms. what comes on the pizza? MUSHROOMS. we order "no cheese garlic bread". what comes on the garlic bread? CHEESE. we order onion rings. those were just trash. tasted like frozen generic brand onion rings. we had to wait an hour and a half for delivery when the place is less than 6 mins away from us by car. we couldn't drive, and figured delivery would be a good option. WRONG. delivery.com was finally able to help us after the rude woman on the phone at Tony's kept us on hold for 30 mins AND hung up on us. We called delivery.com TWICE though to finally get the order refunded. Tony's is a joke and their staff is even worse. Gotta add a star: Bruschetta is amazing. Definitely one of the best bruschettas I have had- garlicky, lots of tomatoes, crispy bread. Loved it. Also, the eggplant ricotta pizza is one of my favorite pies. I think the trick is ordering of the menu (not necessarily slices). Also the prices are amazing. Seriously. Pretty good pizza! Been here a few times and they also saved me by delivering me food on the last snow day. I've tried various slices, the eggplant parmesan plate, an eggplant parmesan sandwich, a tortellini cheese based soup, and the barbecue chicken pizza. The pizza is generally good. They usually have a variety of different slices (particularly earlier in the day) and it's all reasonably priced. My favorite was the barbecue chicken and the pepperoni. A couple of the other specialties were a slight let down (for example, the cheese steak). The tortellini "soup" was very heavy-- cheese tortellini floating in a creamy cheese bath. I had it on a cold, snowy day so it was fine but normally I think it would be too heavy. The portions are very good, especially for the price. One small pet peeve is that when you order a slice to go, they put it on a regular plate in a brown paper bag which can get messy (rather than a box). I've had some great things, some okay things, and a couple of things that did not really hit the spot. I'll keep going back though because it is a pretty good spot and definitely one of the better ones in the area. read more
